*loves you for loving Final Fantasy*
My boyf doesn't get it. He likes golf. xd Although I got pretty hooked on Everybody's Golf for a while as there is an element of skill involved.
I like thinking games and stuff with a great plot.
Which of the films did you like? The Spirits within was pretty good, can never remember the name of the other one.........
Just completed my FF collection, now I have em all from 6 onwards. I feel there may be some serious brain rotting to come in the next few weeks, when I can steal the PS away from boyf! xd

Final Fantasy: Advent Children, was the one I was talking about. The Spirits Within was a good movie, but it wasn't Final Fantasy. Didn't resemble the game any.
Golf sux. Sry my opinion. Kinda feel like a dog when playing it. Hit the ball, watch it, no fetch and do it again. lol
Final Fantasy 8 and X are my fav. I've played so far. Played a little of the new 7 on psp, and it didn't seem too bad.
Strategy games are fun. They kinda cancel the rotting of the brain part, cause they make you use it instead of stare at a screen and push some buttons.

One topic though: Everybody I see is questing, bumping, or begging. They copy and paste the same thing in every thread.
Off topic though: I like FF3(6). I even found a trick on youtube where the main character is level 99 at the first save point. I tried it on when I got the game for the GBA and it really works. So I have file where the character is at level 99 at the start of the game.

lol, I'd always thought that about golf too! Perfect way of ruining a good walk.
The Everybody's game is pretty good though, once you get into all the technicalities of it. Much more interesting than it sounds! 3nodding
As for real golf you can keep it!
I never really got into 8. Dunno, it all seemed a bit industrial. Will probably give it another go now, as lovely boyf bought it for me. 7 was always my favorite, have played it LOADS and never finished it. I'm one of those tedious people who feels they have to complete every last little bit of a game before it's finished! xp Damn that Omega Weapon! xd Just can't beat it!
I loved 10 too but I didn't like the way you just sort of arrived between one place and another. Trotting round my map on on my chocobo in 7 kept me entertained for hours! xd
Sorry for the delay in replies, my laptops having a hissyfit.

I detest bumpers. Especially people who feel the need to bump with some enormous animated bump sign that takes forever to load. Poor Laptop *strokes* makes it overheat!

I've heard a lot of people say they didn't like 8 too much. I liked the way you could control the Gaurdians with everyone, not just randomly pop up or like in 10 where Luna only gets to control them. The scenes were great too. Guess it's just me though, oh well.
As for the cheat code thing.. CHEATER.
Now I admit I have looked up walkthroughs to help me get through a game, but I did it.

lol, Those FF people must make a fortune from walkthrough guides. There was some stuff in 10 that you could only do if you read the guide. EDIT although I think that may have been the UK version only. Just for a change we got extra stuff! xd
rolleyes I have all the guides too.
'cept 7. Darnit. Always missing the one I really need!

But hey, that's the youth of today! xd (I feel safe saying that in here!) Want everything now and why the hell should I put in any effort?!? gonk
Maester_Leoshin Never tried that one. I used to spend a lot of time on Gamefaqs.com, that was pretty good, and the forums were ok. That's how I found Gaia! Had to go nearly 2 whole years with no internet though, so unfortunately it was expensive books all the way.

I save at the first save spot and played normally until I got the character at 99 and died. I hate cheating, it takes all the fun out of the game.
