Inferno Baenre Moscow, 1941 - Brian Balmages That piece is really fun to play. I played it last year. My favorite would have to be Then I saw the Lucent Sky by Todd Stalter. AMAZING. Especially for horns. I think after that, Hymnsong Variations. That's also a nice piece. We played both of those for Heritage Fest. last year.

My favorite piece would have to be Perthshire Majesty by Samuel R. Hazo. I like the way it sounds.
My second favorite is Moscow, 1941. We played it last year and first trumpets (me and 2 other people) got a re-written sax part because the saxes didn't take the time to learn it.

Mine would have to be Russian Christmas Music. The solos were amazing and the dramatic differences that occur in the thirteen minutes are breath-taking.
