Deilita's smile faded a bit when he saw Vi's face and how much pain it seemed to have as she slept. He hated seeing her in pain, and every time he thought about what she might have gone through, it hurt him inside. While she slept though, Deilita gently slipped his arm under the knee joints under her leg and after slowly moving the covers of the bed, he placed her down gently and kissed her forehead softly in order to calm her. As he let her go and pulled the covers over her, his phone vibrated in his pocket, causing him to reach to get it and answer. "Hello?" After a brief moment of silence, there was a sigh that emitted from his throat as he realized who he was talking to. "Oh...hey Harry..."

((lol I can't help it! I have naturally low self esteem! XD))
Vi stirred slightly when Deilita kissed her, opening her eyes ever so slightly, trying to get a hold of where she was. She was relieved at first, hearing Deilita's voice, but her curiosity was perked when she heard who he was talking to.

The voice on the other side of the phone sounded quite calm and a bit happy as he spoke, but Deilita felt something was off about this call. "Yeah....yeah, I'm just with Vi at this ho...what do you mean by that?!" The voice laughed a bit and explained itself, causing Deilita to lean against a wall and sigh a bit. "Oh...I guess I understand. No, when you've been working nonstop for a year, jokes aren't as funny, ya know?" The voice agreed and sounded somewhat apologetic as it spoke, going on about something related to the race that he had been in. As Deilita listened for a time to speak, he sighed and eventually spoke up for a moment. "Well...Harry, mind if you do me a favor? There's this girl that I met and she needs some work man....what?" The voice went on for a minute, then Deilita looked over to Vi to see if she was asleep and looked away for a moment. "You listen to me Harry, I've been bustin' my arse to pay you back and I did it in half a year, doing jobs I didn't want to do. I almost got killed when I went to Incendia and did that mining job, remember that?! I've taken your crap for a while now and I swear to..." The voice quickly retorted in a worried voice, which caused Deilita to calm down a bit. When he heard a reassuring voice, he smiled and nodded. "Thanks man, see what you can find for her, okay? We're even man, don't worry about a thing." After hanging up the phone, Deilita smiled and looked away from Vi, smiling as he did.

Vi listened carefully, though waited a moment after he was done talking, to sit up and stretch. She said nothing at first, thinking about the call, and again, thinking about the danger Deilita had put himself in..."Deil...." She said quietly, hugging her knees, ad staring at a spot on the sheets.

Deilita turned to see Vi awake and hugging her knees. After putting his phone away, he walked over to the bed, sat down next to her and smiled warmly. "You okay Vi?" He asked, his eyes seemingly tired as he looked away for a moment to yawn before turning to face her.

Vi looked at him and forced a tired smile as she gently pushed his shoulders to get him to lie back, onto the bed. "I'm fine...though you look beat..." She soothed, looking down on him before leaning down to kiss him on the lips gently. She then slid down and laid her head on his chest, embracing him a bit. "...I-...I'm glad you're back..." She admitted so quietly, it was almost inaudible. She saw that he must have been working hard and dangerous jobs, but she hated to think of him putting his life on the line. The thought of Deil dying on her made her heart jump as she unconsciously held him more securely.

Deilita laid back and returned the kiss that Vi gave him with a smile. "I am beat..." He said as held her gently and placed one of his hands behind his head as he laid there, thinking about the luck he had been having. Everything seemed to be going his way today, and it made him smile a bit. If things were meant to be this good for him, then it would be smooth sailing from here on end.

Vi sighed contently, though still felt troubled. She was just glad to have Deilita back again, though part of her felt as if she had shown weakness for taking him back after all he had done. Though he emotional side kept pushing this thought back as she slowly drifted back and forth between consciousness, listening to his steady heart beat.

Deilita kept his eyes open as Vi rested, mainly because something bothered him deep in his mind. He was worried that everything that just happened tonight would come undone if one thing happened in a negative way. He decided to think against it, mainly because he didn't want to be all sad when it actually happened. If things didn't work out between him and Vi, he would just go back to doing the dangerous work that seemed to pay more since the risk factor was so great. Well, he'd be rich, but best not to think about the future so much, it's was destined to give him a headache.

After what felt like awhile. Vi seemed to sense Deilita wasn't sleeping. So she slowly opened her eyes and leaned her head as to look up at him. "What're you thinking about?" She asked, a curious smile on her face, adjusting her body so she could see him better.
((not sure of what else to do with the plot for right now...>< just letting richard and Lorey have their fun...><))

((So I see. I've been reading it and I'm most interested. :3 ))
Deilita smiled a bit and shook his head a little. "Oh...it's nothing serious. Just thinking about the past a bit. Looking back on old memories, ya know?" He said with a smile as he held Liani close to him and sighed. "It's just funny to me what can happen to people in a year's time, you know? Life moves to fast sometimes, know what I mean?"

Vi nodded in agreement. "But there are times, usually rough patches or lonely nights, that just seem to drag on forever...." She turned her body a little to look up at the ceiling. "It seems like the good things don't last long at all...." She noted, thinking about first, her parents then her brother and grandfather. She wandered how long things between her and Deilita would actually last this time.

Deilita sighed softly and looked at the ceiling for a minute as well. "Well, all you can really do is try to make the good moments last as long as you can without forcing them to stay. Just enjoy them and never forget them. They'll come and go, but they're like a lover, just treat them right and even if you get into a conflict, they'll be there with you to come back and make you smile again." It had to be the wisest thing he had said as of late, although he was speaking in a lethargic state, and what he said didn't seem to make sense to him after he said it.

It made sense to Vi. She glanced up at him, smiled warmly, but said nothing more as she just enjoyed a quiet moment in Deilita's arms.
Meanwhile, downstairs, Richard and Enty were just entering the hotel, Lorey still in Richard's arms. He wasn't sure if he should wake her or just continue up to Miss Vidori's room, so he looked to Enty who seemed to be heading toward the elevator.

It was strange that Lorelee was able to fall into a calm so quickly. The rocking pace of his steps lulled her into a peaceful, restful state, which sometimes gave way to sleep.
As they entered the hotel, Lorey's eyes opened just a crack. From the dim world of night outside, the lights were just a tad blinding.
"Are we there?" she murmured.
