The way down was indeed, much, much easier than it had been up. Though his legs were still a bit sore, and he had to keep a close eye on the ground below him, to make sure he didn't slip on something then go tumbling down the mountain, which would either he a very tragical moment.. or a very Funny one. Probably depending on the outcome.
Autiren kept quiet most of the way,...able to tell that Kahili was deep in thought at the time, and he didn't want to interrupt her in any way. So instead, he kept himself off in his own little dream world,.... paying attention only enough their surroundings.
Alright, apparently not paying quite Enough attention, as when the other spoke, his head snapped up quickly, and he stared over at Kahili with slightly widened eyes. Of course, when she really began talking, he relaxed, furrowing his brows a bit when she spoke of leaving. But as she continued talking, Autiren blinked a few times, brows furrowing further, obviously a bit confused as to what her point would be in just another matter of seconds.
So....If you want. I'd um....I'd like you to come with me. We can travel and see things...together,
His eyes widened slightly at this, by that point having just sworn the mare would leave, call him boring, and walk away never for them to see eachother again.
Apparently, he was way off.
Way, off.
"I uhh..." How to respond to that to make it sound like he wanted to without being OVER enthusiastic and odd? ...Pull it together Autiren....
"Here I was thinking you were about to kick me into the water and ditch me forever..." He chuckled a bit, to show he was only teasing a bit. "...But I really didn't think you'd actually want me to stick around..." He added, voice low, tone soft.
Get to the point, Autiren... "...Either way... Apparently you Do want me to stay...Mm...To travel with you...? Hmm...." He paused... only for effect. He knew his final answer before he even started talking.
"...I suppose I could hang around a little while longer..." He said softly, grinning a bit, chuckle rumbling in his throat after, as he reached over to lightly nose the mare's cheek a bit.
