Ellen began to stand up from her crumpled stance. 'Did i just black out?' She looked around at the faces of the people there. Her message had obviously gotten to them cause they all seemed to be more on the defensive side with the king chanting something strange. As she pushed herself off the ground she noticed a girl had be holding her up so she wouldn't hit the floor. "Thanks for catching me." she said to the her still a little disoriented.

"You're welcome," Tala said grimly. She felt suddenly tired, more tired than she had been in a long time. She wanted nothing more than to bring her knees to her chest and cry.

She felt alone again. But she wouldn't show that this horrible news was weighing down on her. She stood again, picking up her cloak and fastening it around her again, the red velvet too bright a color for her mood.

While she watched the King perform his spell, she spoke with Valkyrie. It is alright. They were just material things, and the soul doesn't linger in them. Only memories.

Tala was taken aback when the black fire consumed her; it was freezing as it slowly crept over her skin, caressing her with its icy fingers. She gave a small gasp and closed her eyes, willing this part of the enchantment to be done as soon as possible. She was glad that she stood close to Kiro again; it was comforting.

Tala was suddenly so cold that it was hard for her to breathe. She opened her eyes and looked at Kiro, her amber eyes blank. She parted her lips and her cloud came in a breath.

She struggled to use her power to warm her but her magic failed her in the face of such an ancient spell. Her fingers went numb. When was this going to end? It shouldn't take much longer.

"Kiro....?" she whispered. She was unbelievably calm; she wanted to panic but somehow couldn't.

"What's happening?" Tala closed her eyes again briefly and when she opened them again, a tear rolled down her cheek but her eyes showed no emotion. "It's so cold... my powers aren't working... I can't move... I'm scared" she whispered.

Never had she admitted to anyone when she had a moment of weakness. But she couldn't help herself right now. Later, she knew she would blame it on the spell.

Violet stood there watching the others when she started to feel cold. She tried to use fire to warm herself up but nothing seemed to be working. 'Whats going on, what kind of magic is this!?' She began to panic on the inside but could no longer show it on the outside. Everything felt numb. 'I shouldn't have listened to them. I shouldn't have come...'

hidama felt the magic run up into her legs. all of her breath left her and her body started to shake. she collapsed next to the princess. she tried to counter attack the dark fire but it was too strong for her . it surround her whole body now and was invaiding her mind. she found enough breath to scream at the horrible images invaiding her mind. then her mind went blank and she passed out.
