Rin blinked. "Hey there!" she said, waving at Anju. Another one, huh? And the new shiny book! This was a very interesting day.
She brought the packages of meat over to a circle of stones, striking a match and holding the flame to the small bit of kindling under the heavier pieces of wood. A metal rack was suspended over the fire pit, and she arranged the meat on it, putting the rest aside for later. Wiping her hands on the grass, she half turned to watch the others, while still keeping an eye on the cooking meat.
"There's plenty for all of us." she offered, speaking to the black kentauride. "Want some?"

Selene shook her head slowly, sitting down beside the fire after a moment of consideration. No, this herd didn't seem to be dangerous. Although, they did eat meat. That disturbed her deeply. Priestesses were taught that all life was sacred, including animals like the boar they had killed so unthinkingly. Meat was only eaten when absolutely necessary for survival. When one could, foraging was a better alternative. Berries, nuts, fruits and vegetables... those were all alternatives before killing another of the Maker's creatures.
"No, thank you. I do not..." She shook her head again, eyes trained once more on the stars, "Where are we? How far from the temple have I strayed?" She looked back down, catching the other's eye. "How far from Durem are we?" She was familiar with the large city, having been there in her youth. Her forest was to the west of Durem, easily a day's journey.

Tibia put her new tome away inside the near-by housing, fairly large but well hidden in the brush and trees. When she reemerged from the building, she had shed her own white cloak and left it hanging inside properly. She tilted her head to the side, interest striking her eyes at the words of the latest one to join their group.
"I don't know anything about a temple, but we are near the Von Helson Manor, it is beyond that large graveyard outside Durem." She smiled pleasantly. If there was indeed a temple of some sort near by, she most certainly was going to venture out to look for it as soon as dawn hits.

"That is good. I have not strayed too far," Selene nodded, looking down at her hands and the fire before she stood up again, "I am hungry."
She was not used to talking to others so much, at the temple most kept silent in respect for the stars. But here, the centaurs were noisy. Almost a cacophony of sound. And it was not to her liking. Leaving the small group, she searched for edible vegetables and berries, finding some to cook over the fire.

Risa paced around nervously. Her ears were twitching in agitation. She had never been outside her territory before.
Her emaciated figure gave off a faint glow from the dusk and twilight. She was scared. She was told by her grandfather that she was to never leave the Devil's Garden, but never told why.
"This wont do at all." She talked to herself quietly, her voice sounded frail yet full of youth. "How do I-"
She froze when she heard rustling from off a distance. Her ears perked up. Risa's silver eyes seemed to stand out as she frantically looked around. She was a deer in headlights.

Aress munched on a cooked fish as her ears twitched. She turned her head, glancing further inland. She blinked before turning to her fire. She continued to eat her fish, letting the bones rest against the earth. She'll burry them later on.
She looked about, tail brushing up the dirt as she moved it from one side to the other. She ate about half of the fish she had caught and relaxed on the ground as she peered up to the sky. Her ears twitched once more, peering around, "Talking? Maybe hallucination."
~~~~~~~
Up on the mountains, Ajax viewed the lights of a couple camp fires down in the valley. His black tail twitched, flushing out a couple flies from his tail and rump. He glanced back, seeing his brother behind his black form.
Zeb slowly walked up behind his brother, his own striped form odd compared to the deep black fur of his sibling. He moved to the side of the other and glanced to the valley, seeing movement, "A herd? Probably have a good few kentaurides..."
The two looked at each other before quickly sprinting down the the side of the mountain, heading towards the herd.
((I was actually asking Anju if she was hungry, because I thought Selene was at the lake with the herd from Ganon's earlier post. But yeah.))
Rin shrugged and poked at the meat with a long stick that was stripped of its bark. If the temple girl didn't want her meat, that was her problem. She twisted the stick slightly, flipping the food over so both sides would cook evenly.
She stood and brushed off her legs before moving into the house and grabbing some salt and spices to help the taste of the meat, as well as several plates and a handful of cutlery.
[XD I got confused but I'll post now]
Anju was quiet for a moment. Not because of any reason except for to examine all who were there. But soon enough a smile spread across her lips, just as the other Kentauride had turned down the meat. "Then I hope you do not mind that I take her spot, do you?" She asked politely as the other walked on. She placed her arrow back into her make shift quiver before setting them both down on the grass as she sat down herself. "I was out hunting and well, I heard a noise and assumed it prey. But found it to be this herd." She said softly, as she stroked her bow slowly. Though she was normally solitary, she found comfort in the words of others. "I didn't know any centaurs were in Durem since I heard most stay near Barton. But I am glad I am among my own kind."
((Oops, I was, too!))
"Durem... no, not from Durem, but that is the only landmark that you would know of," Selene nodded, looking down at the root vegetables now cooking on the fire. She looked up again, watching as the sun started to set and twilight settled on the herd. "It is early still though, very early. I am surprised that I awoke so early, but Mars was too bright. It bothers me," she said factually with a frown. She was silent for a few more minutes before speaking, "I will not be staying much longer, but thank you for your hospitality." Yes, soon she would need to go home... if only she knew which was was home. She hadn't been this far from home--ever.
She folded her legs beneath her, the little imp named Amethyst settled down in front of her squeaking impatiently for food. He bounced ever so slightly from his little vocal attempts and his wings ruffled out in exasperation that the food wasn't cooking quick enough. Membrana Tibia rolled her eyes at the little creature before sweeping it up and giving it a hug. He quieted down for a minute, but as soon as she released the imp, it started off with it's squeaking once again.
Before she could stop him, Amethyst huffed and flittered off into the forest, Tibia swiftly as she could, giving chase. Out of sight, a thundering crash came from the direction they had gone. Amethyst and Membrana Tibia were gone with no trace left behind.
{{OoC- I am going to be gone for a week or so and will have no internet access during that time. Sorry, ya'll. Have fun! }}
Kuma felt her face flush slightly as Ganon ran a hand down her back, but her tan hid the red. She gave a quick nod before galloping off toward the bulk of the herd. Lifting her head high, she let out a sharp whistle to get her herd's attention.
"We're moving toward the stream to make camp. When we get there, those who need it may rest and drink." she declared before beginning to trot in the direction of the stream.
Aress's legs jolted some before she lifted her head, ears twitching, "Whistle?" She looked aroun before she rolled to her side, and munched down the last of the fish. She rolled back over and curled up, falling back to sleep.
Ajax continued in his run heading towards the larger herd, not caring about the other smaller herd. He glanced back, finding his brother on his heels. He looked ahead, dodging the trees of the forest.
Zeb easily kept up with his brother, having more use for running than him. He followed through the trees, but began to take a different path, being the distance of one to two trees.
Hope sat back with her back agenst the wall with her legs under her. For the first time in weeks she was full and getting sleepy but before she cold dose off for a while she remembered she negeleted her jounal. She brought it out of her bag and simple started to write. In the distance thunder broke out in the sky and for once she was thankful for having a roof over her head. Soon She got tired and feel alseep.
The sun of woke her up first thing in the morning. Looking aound she saw that Tibia wasn't back. No worries. She might as well as see whats around. If there are upwards of five centuars around here there might be more. She got up and walked out careful not to wake up the rest.
Hope walked out into the sunshine. The rain made everything grow again. Ahh Life given rain.. She thought to herself. She realized that its best if she clean herself up too. Looking like this on the road is best but not around other centuars. Hope found a clean small creek that feed into a small lake. The water was cool and refeshing. Somehow it escaped the wrath of humans. The water glamed in the sunlight and fish darted in and out of it. "I would like warm water but this will do..and yum fish for breackfast..." She said in a happy voice. Her mood was up. She looked around for anyone near by and apon seeing/not hearing anyone she stripped down and entered the pool...Thankfull to get the dirt off of her the first thing she washed was her white horn. After her horn was pure gleaming white she went to clean the dirt off her body.
Zeb glanced around, after the rain, the two brothers had split up. His breathing was labored as he didn't have a rest after the running and the rain. He could usually tell where he was by the vision of his mountainious him. He couldn't see it, so he declared himself lost. His ears picked up various noises, especiall that of running water, and he felt the wind run through his mohawk-styled mane. The sound of water easily appealed to the tired male.
His steps were slower and lighter as his stripped form approached a stream. He dropped down and dunked his face into the stream. He brought his head up, breathing deeply, eyes closed. He sat for a while, meditating some before his stomach gave out a growl, "Shut up..."
Zeb's ears twitched as he heard movement of water downstream, smelling the unique scent of a kentauride in the air. He looked downstream, but stayed in his spot, thinking over the idea to go and try to sneak a peak. He slowly picked up his form, and began to slowly walk down along the stream. His large hooves pressed quietly to the ground as he took careful steps. He walked more into the trees, but followed along the stream, curious about the kentauride.
