That sounds like a better idea. The clans could come from different areas, like the white centaurs could be from more snowy regions, the browns from the grassy plains, and the blacks from the dark jungles.

What about clans within color groups?

With different cultures, traditions, weapons etc.

So we all agree there should be a fighter and a magician.

But i still say a scholar is more important than a gatherer thing . xp

a scholar...would go under the mage setting.

and a diplomat....would go under the warrior setting.

a ranger would be more like, the law, and gatherings, hunting, an economist with knowledge of the terrain.

This is all becoming quite complicated @___@

Black would be the warrior,
Bay, the ___
and white, the mage.

No they don't...a scholar/diplomat falls under its own category.

We're talking about the 3 leaders of the different centaur races.

What's more important than diplomacy? Without it we would have no way of communicating without war. Diplomats can make truces, start wars, call for support of allied clans etc.

Rangers would be under the leaders. You said it yourself they're law ENFORCEMENT not law makers. rolleyes

what about the people who don't want to follow an elder?


because I'm a ranger/herbalist, I would fall under the warrior category, but my character is also profitient in magical arts, where would I go?
