KagomeHime369 RockyRoadSmith Everyone who has posted here has taken the words out of my mouth. There is nothing left to say. We all know this thing was disrespectful and very immature. I can't wait for them to show up at the next Comic Con, because I'm going to go with the shirt I made of Zutara and I'm going to rant my a** off, and hopefully someone will record it. This had to be one of the worst shipping insults I have ever seen or heard of. I'm going to go blow off some steam before I get really pissed. ^_^ I'd love to go, but I live in Australia. So that's kind of a major problem. (I just don't think I'd have the money)

ARE THEY ******** TRYING TO SABATOGE THEIR CAREERS??? Are they TRULY that idiotic??!
I am not surprised either, after being in the room at SDCC when they unveiled Book 4, but GOD, their stupidity and pure A**h***-ness is freaking ASTOUNDING.
"They're mad now?" Oh yes. We are. But that's your problem since you'll never see a cent from 75% of your fandom again. Great Job, morons!! Way to show some class and sportsmanship towards your own once-loyal fans!

Uggh. I read that. stressed All I can say is Congratulations, Bryke! You've just confirmed your status as petty, fan-bashing assholes. 8D Have a wonderful life.
But, seriously, now that I've calmed down, I don't really care anymore. Sure, I'm pissed, but they're really only hurting themselves with this. Now that so many people have read/heard what was said on that commentary, at SDCC, and in the Sozin's Comet interview, a pretty large portion of their fanbase will probably start boycotting them.
... I say we clog their inbox with beautiful fanart and fanfiction, to show our "appreciation" of their show. >D

Zuko and Katara bought out (at first) the worse in each other and then seeing beyond their "scars" did they see the face of the person behind the cloud so to speak. When seeing each other, the real "other" so to speak, did they become closer and talk about it on a decent level. "I'm sorry I yelled at you." "It's okay." "It's just...whenever I pictured the face of the enemy, it was your face." "My face, I see..." You had them hate each other, while Aang/Katara stayed fairly much in the same spot. The elemental signs of opposition were there, even when it wasn't really defined. Just because they're "opposites" doesn't mean they don't help each other! It is NOT just fire/water! Even in the deepest darkness, there will always be a slight to push back the shadows. It's like what Zelda says from Twilight Princess: Light and Darkness are two sides of the same coin, one cannot exist without the other.I'm rambling, so I need to go read something dark now to make myself feel better! It didn't really surprise me, seeing as I'd kinda braced myself for when they would do this.
I was kinda pissed, but I've gotten over it and now I just feel like laughing at them and move on. Because even though I'm "just a zutarian" in their eyes, I'll always know I'm the better person.
(I follow the saying "If you've got nothing good to say, then don't say it at all" pretty furiously.)

(Random-pairs come later. xp ) Speaking of shipping, I did this for fun in Gimp (it's an editing program) and I like how it turned out. And You're so right about the Zutara thing. Even as enemies, they pushed each other and made one another grow. Whereas, with Kataang, everything seemed backwards in development.
Also, off topic, but Bryke screwed up real bad in their terminology for airbenders. They are not nomads. Nomads are wanderers who migrate for food and have no fixed home and, most importantly, don't have agriculture. Airbenders grow their food, live in temples, and only wonder out of curiosity and free-spirit.
It's official: Bryke knows nothing.
