Lilith picked up her blanket and hugged it. "It's so warm," she giggled. She wrapped around her and twirled. "Card games? You have any cards?"

"Sure," he said, putting the bucket next to the doorway and pulling out a pack of cards he had stashed in a pocket between a few of the roots in the wall, "Is there a specific game you would like to play?"

She looked at him and then at the cards. "I don't know any games," she said as she patted the ground next to her. "Well I know go fish," she laughed. "Does that count?"

"We could play Go Fish," he said, smiling and shuffling the cards. Sitting down where she had patted, he dealt six cards to her and six cards to himself, putting the rest on the ground in front of him and spreading them around to make the pond.

Lilith looked at her cards carefully, seeing, to her dismay, that she had none that matched. She didn't let this get her spirit down. This was her game, after all. "You want to go first or me?" she asked while peering at Gossimer over her cards.

Gossimer studied his cards and carefully pulled out a pair of twos, thinking he had a lucky start to the game. They usually turned into unlucky finishes, but who knows, maybe this time he would be lucky. "You can start," he said, grinning and holding his cards up to his face in an attempt to create a poker face.

Aria giggled at the face he made. "You're silly," she exclaimed. "Alright... " She looked back down at her cards: 6, 3, 5, king, ace, and a 10. "Do you have any...5's?" She raised an eyebrow at him.

"I like being silly," he said, removing the cards that were hiding his grin, "And go fish." He had lined his cards up numerically; 6, 7, queen, and 9, "Do you have any nine's?"

She made a face, which she meant to look mad. But she looked more silly than anything else. She picked up one of the cards from the 'pond'. A seven. Just her luck...one she didn't need. She looked up at him, trying to hide her look of dissatisfaction. "Nine? Nope, no nines. Go fish!" She paused for him to pick out a card, then asked, "Do you have any...sixes?"

He laughed at her expression, pawing through his cards when she asked for the number. "Oh, you're good," he said, handing her the six and looking through his cards again, "Have you got any sevens?"

She set down the pair of sixes. Her eyes narrowed as she handed over the seven she had just picked up. "Not as good as you, obviously," she said as she stuck her tongue out. "Hmm.. alright. Do you have a king?"

"Nope, go fish!" he said, plucking the seven out of her paw and sliding it next to his own before taking them both and laying them on top pf his twos, "Do you have... Any queens?"

Lilith swirled the pile in the pond around and finally picked one up. A jack. She put it in with the rest of her cards. "Nope, sure don't. You're going to have to..go fish!" She looked at her cards for a moment. "Do you have any jacks?"

"Nope, not a one," he said, reaching for the pond to pull out another two. He studied it a bit, thinking there was something odd about it before shaking his head and asking his next card, "Do you have any two's?"

Lilith quickly picked a card out of the pile. This time picking up an ace. "Sweet!" she exclaimed as she set down her two aces. She turned back to Gossimer. "Sure don't! Go fish," she said with a smile. "Are we tied?" She looked down at their piles of pairs. "Hmm..do you have any 5's?"
