i've pretty much played them (except for 13 and 11) and i have to say, for me number 9 was the best.
Party because the music score was terrific and the story line was very good. Almost everywhere i see a lot of people that love 7 and i think its been getting a little too much credit or fame that a lot of people forget about the others.

Alchemist_Shuro O.O *hits you with a fish* The part I just spoke of, is from Family Guy when Mayor West wanted all the cops to go save some tv actors he saw was trap on a rerun of a old show. xD And when the news reporter ask this white man what he thought of it and the guy said happily, "The cops are gone?! We are finally free!" and then he and a bunch of supposed whites took off their clothes and were actually black people and they dance in their undergarmets and sung the song from the Wizard of Oz movie, Micheal Jackson played it, aka the black version. True 7 does get more fame then others, and I think now that they have Mr. I will not be just a memory on KH1 and 2, Final Fantasy fans love 7 even more. I mean there were other guys on there too, like Titus, I believe. o.o
Leon(Squall) was on there, he even was your first Final Fantasy fight, if you don’t count the whole three on 1 fight on Destiny Island, where you have to fight the three people who you can test your strength on.

Keep in mind though that Tetsuya Nomura is the one that directs the Kingdom Hearts franchise- and he got his fame from being the character designer for FFVII. I could understand why he'd recycle them and overpower them in other games, though I don't like it very much. Like what he's doing with Dissidia. I'm sure Sephiroth will steal the spotlight in that game- both figuratively and literally. Nomura is also revamping all the character designs for that game- though I never thought it would be possible to make Tidus even MORE homosexual.

My comment was not hurtful. He is now even more feminine. biggrin Just look at Nomura's artwork for the project if you haven't already.
And if Tidus is cool... XD I'm sorry, I can't even think of something to add to that... Tidus and Cool are two words that should NEVER be in the same sentence together.

I'd have to say FFIV was my favorite just for the character development and storyline.

Also Tidus doesn’t seem cool at times because he reminds people of that gay show that came on Fox. You know the one. Dealt with a guy talking to the audience in his garage. >.>

That is a good point FF7, even though it is a fun game, is way overrated. Even though I am more of the old school FF fan, FF9 is quite an accomplishment. The music, colorful world and the way you learn abilities is quite entertaining.

Yeah the older FF are actually pretty fun, i think more fun than the FFVII sequels or prequels. oh and FFIV is a pain!!!!!

I liked FFVII for the Cid Highwind, but my favorite Final Fantasy is IX. The characters are more interesting, and the world is a higher sort of fantasy. Plus, two people can play the game together.
