Vicky was asleep, so she was free for now. tiptoeing, she inched around the hall corner and looked around carfuly. she was wearing a dress again, this one a lavender color. she had taken to wearing dress's because of Vicky, who demanded it. But! she was still free from shoe's. Vicky was going to run into the town near by and see if she could find her size.. no one would let Fate go herself. still, she enjoyed going barefoot around this place. it made her quieter. in all she probibly made a weird sight, a girl in a lavender gown with no shoe's and her hair braided down her back.
she fled back around the corner as some gaurds shot by, luckily they had been in a rush and hadnt seen her. " does this place never sleep?!" she demanded quietly. finaly she worked up the curage to sneak by Vincente's door and make her way back to the sitting room, where she lit a small fire in the fire place. looking around agian to make sure she was alone, she slid her hand under the couch and retreaved one of her favorite and only books. she had hid it from Vicky, there was no way that woman was getting this book as well. happily she curled up in a chair next to the fire place, her fingers winding in a lock of her hair as she read her book for the thousandth time. between the warmth and the soft chair she drifted off, the book falling on her lap as her eyes drifted closed. the fire was small and would die out, so she didnt need to worry about it.

Wick walked threw the hall's, singing softly because she knew all the others were asleep. her hair was down from its normal pony tail, the golden strands falling well below the small of her back. patroling seemed to be the only way she could think in this place, so she took all the watch shifts she could when the others were sleeping. tilting her head she heard a soft sound, fallowing it she found Keara sleeping in the chair. normaly she would have turned and left, but something kept her there. the girl looked so peaceful.. as if she had never had to worry before in her life. with an aching feeling Wick tossed a blanket over the girl, puting the sputtering fire out and walking back to her room. the moment the door was closed and the lock's turned, Wick clentched her fists and bit her lip until it bled. things.. seemed wrong here. she joined this place to protect her kind, but they seemed to be only killing others. lycan war's were for the past, she couldnt take the idea of another bloody war. she traced a finger down her armor, saying aloud. " armor i payed for in blood.. wolves died by my hand, and still i keep the armor from oh so long ago..." the armor was clean, but she could still picture the blood stains that had once covered it. war.. was a very chaotic time, and she couldnt bare the thought of it again. packing her small travel bag she tossed a note on the floor. no one would notice or care she was gone, and she had had enough foolishness to last a life time. without a second thought she left, not once looking back.

Gregor and a company of fifty or so vampires marched on to the grounds of the mansion. With the death of Vicente this place had been abandoned, leaving it dusty and worn. Gregor smirked, it felt good to step on the grounds where his father's killer used to work, and to see it destroyed.
"I sense lycans here, kill them all as well as anyone else who opposes us and secure the mansion. Oh and do save any who surrender, unless you find a reason to kill them."The vampires rushed inside and the roars and screams of lycans filled the air, he wasn't murdering innocents, but feral were wolves. Any smart lycan would have avoided this place for it contained silver. In ten minutes one soldier came back to report that the mansion had been taken and Gregor walked inside. The corpses of long dead vampires and the newly dead lycans literally filled the place.
"Build a fire and burn the bodies, I am going to send for more troops, this place is ours now."The soldiers did as they were told and Gregor went up the stairs and reached the large door to the library. He thought for a moment and smirked uttering one word,
"Ilena"So predictable, Gregor thought as he entered the library which had opened at the name. He walked to a large mirror and tapped it with his finger. A mark appeared and he stepped back, soldiers started to pour through it and in a matter of minutes one hundred more men were helping to secure the mansion. After that servants came and began to clean the place up while the soldiers replaced the banners. This was to be Sergei's new command center outside of the haven. Gregor stopped one of the men and gave him orders.
"Go and tell Issac to send some were wolves over to fortify our ranks and that this base will be operational in just a few days."The soldier ran back through the portal and Gregor walked into his new office which had been cleaned up and changed to the Latverious style first. Gregor sat down on Vicente's old chair and smiled, how easy this all was for one of his ability.

Issac appeared inside the library and walked furiously up to Gregor's office and threw open the door.
"Gregor, there are hunters! There is a man, Darius or something like that, he kills without thought and must be destroyed!"Issac paced the room and Gregor stood, very calm and collected.
"I know Issac, I know. My scouts have reported as much to me. However I stand behind my uncle on this issue. Tactically it is smart, we don't need a group of hunters after us, and they may have a loose affiliation with the new Red Cross that I hear is more ruthless then before, killing anything they deem harmful. Although I do understand why you came to me, I have no love for my uncle's rules around killing innocents, though when his rules fall into my tactical use, I intend to follow them."Gregor smirked and seemed to remember something and wrote down a note before looking back at Issac.
Issac was tired of excuses, he needed to kill this man, this coward. Issac shook his head and felt the need to remark upon Gregor's arrogence. "You are exactly like your father, however I pray you do not meet his end, pride is a sin for a reason."Issac rushed out and went to take a walk, where he went was a mystery.

Aran blinked, fallowing the man who had led her here. he had told her he knew where she could stay.. and yet he never blinked, and he rarely took a breath. vampire..? the word was new to her, though she had been taught to stay away from them. the man took her arm, gestureing to the large house ahead. " you may rest here, we will help you find the people you search for." something in his voice was off, and she watched him quietly.. not takeing another step near the house. the vampire became irritated, trying to tug her forward by her arm only to be tugged back instead. "tricked me. " she hissed softly, her eyes narrowing. vampires.. couldnt trust them.
the man took a step forward, not bothering to hide his fangs as he laughed. " well, i thought it would be nice to talk to you.. pet the lamb before i kill it and all that.." he didnt get any farther Aran pulled the gun from her side pack and shot calmly, the bulleting going in his mouth and out the back of his head. in one smooth motion she struck into his chest, pulling his heart out and droping it on the ground.. watching it turn to dust along with the man. wiping the blood from her hand onto the ground she growled. " never cross me."

Gregor had been with a particularily busty vampire when he heard a gun shot. He felt the death of a vampire, but it wasn't one of his, they never left the mansion. Gregor warped out to see who he believed to be a hunter and, not wanting to agitate things, looked at the corpse of the vampire. Now he understood, this was one of the assassins some of the men hung out with.
"Well, I must commend you, I was going to kill him if he came back but it seems you did the job for me. I am Gregor Latverious, what can I do for you, besides give you the bounty I was going to put on his head."Hopefully she would fall for this, he was very convincing. Although it was some what true, he was going to kill the assassin after he did the job he was paid to do, which was to kill a lycan that had been bothering Issac for a chance to claim his title.

standing she tossed Gregor a small bullet shell, muttering. " keep your reward, the creature tuched me and earned his fate." covering the barcode and mark on her shoulder with her hand, she gestured to the vampire. " i dont care who he is. he is dead, and the body is your problum now. " the dried blood on her hand flaked and she blinked at it, still slightly shocked at what had happened. she was used to killing, so that didnt bother her.. no what bothered her was the fact that he had tried to bite her. as an artificial being she didnt expect to be treated like prey. scapeing the dried blood from her hand and arm she checked the glock on her gun, counting bullets as she murmered. " Commend me for takeing a life.. when so many become upset about such a thing. you creatures truely are amuseing.. contradicting and hipocrits."

Gregor laughed, what an amuzing human she was, he had to let her in now. Gregor nodded and smiled then spoke in his cordial tone,
"Well, I am but a simple tactician my dear, I see people as numbers and I calculate their worth. My master is different, he is the lover. He cares for lives more then his own, and that is his weakness, and his strength at times. It is rather cold out here, why don't you come inside, master Sergei would go on a rampage if we killed a human. I will not force you, although I am rather busy, so if you would wish to be out of the cold, and safe from the beasts that roam the lands these days, come inside."Gregor walked inside and went upstairs, he then continued his work before he was the busty vampire and was then interrupted again.

casting a dark look after him she fallowed, muttering in irritation. " im not human.. and the monsters out here are safer if Im not here." she wouldnt think of herself as human, unable to stand being like the creatures she watched everyday. lieing, cheating, vile.. she saw no appeal in humans other than study or amusement. unsure where he ment for her to go she fallowed him to his office, leaning against the wall. she didnt move, barely breathing as she closed her eyes and listened. finaly she said quietly. " there are alot of vampires here.. two of them are hungry, one does not smell like the rest of your men.." her eyes snaped open and she looked at Gregor hard, gageing his reaction as she finished. " he smells like the one i killed, and he is intending to hunting." she wasnt sure where this information was comeing from, but what she did know was that if Gregor didnt stop the vampire.. she would.

Gregor cast her a glare, she looked human enough, she smelled human. Sure she seemed a little off, but she was still human. He could tell one of the men was hungry, he would go down for a meal soon but the other one he needed alive, it was a mercenary who was most likely going to be off to help the construction of the new base.
"My men feed when they wish, cattle mostly, but the prisons are always happy to donate their, unwanted people. The second man isn't off to hunt, he is a mercenary, and is starving himself to become more deadly in combat. Such is the way of vamparic beserkers. We need him to protect a new, project of ours. Attack him and I'm afraid you'll be in for a rough night."Gregor then smiled and clasped his hands together.

shruging she didnt look away from him, her tone simple as if she were stateing a fact. " i am not programed to allow such things." her eyes flashed a bit, a dark blue splash that was quickly gone. " your heart rate had not changed, but you are fairly good at twisting words.. so there is a 60% chance you are not lieing to me." pulling the gun from her pocket she checked the chamber again, as she often did when she was on-edge. " 35% chance he would escape and 5% chance you would try to stop me. odds are against me, so i will wisely withdrawl for now."

She was calculating, he liked this, if it was percents she wanted he could do the math.
"Actually, if you factor in my vamparic guile and my family skill with words it would be a thirty percent chance of me not lieing to you. One thing you didn't know is that there is a portal in the common room which gives him a fifty percent chance and if you put me into the equation that goes up to nearly one hundred percent. Of course that five percent still stands so really it's all up to you. Oh and chance of survival is two percent, accounting for skill and luck. I say this because right now this very room is fueling my power, as well as the rest of the mansion. A portal leading to my master's castle is just in the next room, not to mention there are twohundred and fortyseven of us in this mansion. I project that the chance of you joining us is a sixty percent chance, this is of course accounting for the fact that you are alone, clearly hate humans, and have a respect for one with a calculating mind. I left out forty percent on the off chance the aspect of killing other races appealed and thus you wished to join the Red Cross."Gregor smirked, this was growing interesting, what a fine catch they had pulled in.

without realizeing it a small amused smile tugged at the corners of her mouth, makeing her seem far kinder than her attitude told her to be. tilting her head to the side it was a clasic sign of respect, though she couldnt help but be drawn into his challenge. " ah, but the risk to you and your army goes to 25% instead of just 18%. you reveal most of your options and it increases your opponents knoledge. knoledge is power." straitening from the wall she took a steady step forward, her hand comeing away from her back pocket with a thin silver knife. instead of turning it on Gregor she pressed it against her outstretched arm, barely feeling the pain as blood dripped onto the floor. " but to be fair.. ill share a secret with you. my blood holds a 96% boost to all vampire kinds.. a power enduceing chemical.. makeing literaly.." her eyes closed slightly and she watched him from lowered lashs. " a temptation to most. the more vampires, the more likely they will be to attack one another to get to me. in the end.. i wont even have to lift a wepon unless a few survive." flicking her hand over her arm she smiled, showing him her perfectly healed skin. " advantages of being a proto-type.. im not controled as the others will be." her tone hardened. " so stop beating around the bush, what do you want from me vampire."
