None heard the soft wistful sigh that left her as Crosscurrents send touched her mind. It seemed like she saw him less and less. Their was so much to do to make ready for the new season that was on its way. Maybe luck would have someone come her way and distract her from her work.

Dewpaw snuck up the slope to the cave, leaving young Morningtail at the bottom. The wolf did not feel the need to try to climb a slope just to rest on rock and stone when he could rest on the cool grass. The young elfess however, decided that maybe she should try out her new home, just once. Dancer had after all siad the cave was for the two of them; although, Dew thought that would change when Fishie started hangin around more. She didn't want it to be three of them, she just didn't like Fishie that much. She poked her head in, but only barely, trying not to be seen by Dancer. Ever since coming to this new Holt, she was trying every chance she got to sneak up on the other elves. In her old Holt, the other wolfriders tended to smell her coming. She had learned to mask her scent, but not enough to fool many of her tribe.

The combination of being full elf and receiving a send from Fishy made Dancer less aware of her surroundings. It didn't hurt that home made her drop her guard and she just stuck her finger with a fish bone she was using to help lace the two furs together. All this and unknown to her she was being stalked. By now Fire Bright knew the wolf was not food and the young wild elf was a friend so he didn't even flinch if he did know she was on her way. A small motion and the finger poke was healed. She smiled lightly. It made her happy that she could help others in such a way. No she didn't heal every little scrape that came along but she did practice and she would touch everyone from time to time in a friendly way just to know they weren't hiding anything from her.

Dew snuck slightly closer, trying to get as close as possible, but not wanting to test her luck just yet. When she felt she could go no further without coming out of hiding, she leapt to land behind Dancer. "AAAYYOOOAAAHHHH!" She let out a loud howl, hoping to make the other elfess at least jump. Dew wasn't concerned with the tiger nearby or the possibility of Dancer striking out, as wolfriders tended to do at times.
