Silly Genji Daniel pushed past Russel, Reznik and Rozalin, straight into the run-down hotel. He glanced at his compass for a second and walked back out. He pulled out a 2nd cigarette and ignited it. Russel really didn't give a rats a** what people thought of him. So he wasn't really affected by what Reznik said. He just stood there with his hands in his pockets thinking of the many ways how to enter a building.

Catori tugged at her brother's sleeve, urging him to stop.
"Are we gonna just let them alone?" she asked. "That wasn't the haunted building . . ."
"If they want to investigate it, then fine by me," Cheveyo replied. "Besides, I saw the way you reacted when you looked at Reznik; it's not the first time you've seen danger around a person."
Catori nodded, relenting. "For some reason, I just . . ."
"Feel like you want to make sure the others around him don't get hurt, right?" her twin guessed. She nodded, and he added, "You know we could get hurt too."
Wordlessly she nodded again. Cheveyo shrugged. "Alright. Back to the ghost inspectors it is."

Reznik groaned, his head ached angrily, he felt intense pressure behind his eye. "They're coming back..." He sighed, turning slowly. He eyed Russel suspiciously, the man stood there, thinking. Daniel seemed active, he moved around, checking things.
"So, Daniel, have you figured it out?" Reznik grinned, swigging from his hip-flask.
'He must have...'

"Think about it, what's missing from this hotel? Why did I bring you three here?" He chuckled again, hanging his head slightly, his neck clicked loudly.

Reznik's ear twitched, he tilted his head to one side and looked down the street expectantly, completely unaware as to why.
A blood-curdling, gut-wrenching scream echoed from down the road.

He looked down the road "What the ******** was that?" He said "Something supernatural..." Reznik tutted, his eyes narrowed. "Notice the higher pitches?" He asked, turning sharply to Russel. "Ghost Hunt 101, Kids. Anything supernatural releases sound on an ethereal and a physical plane, but both pass through this one, so you can identify it by the same sound being produced simultaneously at different pitches." "Remember that, it'll be useful later." Reznik grunted, hauling himself down the street, motioning to the others to follow.

The twins almost had heart attacks when they had heard the scream. Cheveyo gave an involuntary shudder.
"I felt that . . . Great Manitou, do they always have to do that?" he muttered.
"How sad . . ." murmured Catori. "That they are chained here . . . would it be possible to free them, instead of hunt them?"
The two turned the corner and saw Reznik and the others beginning to go towards the other hotel. They ran to catch up.
"Mr. Reznik!" Cheveyo hailed him as he slowed. "Quite the scream, hmm? I hope my sister and I won't be too much trouble?"

Reznik looked back and saw the twins, both of them looked to him with eyes that showed both a keen interest and a pallet of fear.
"I hope your sister and you both know how to handle yourselves. If it comes to it, you have to do what's best for yourself, then worry about everyone else." He muttered, turning back and continuing on.
Reznik's head ached, his vision was blurred in one eye, his thoughts felt as though they were forced into his head, no longer the product of his own cognizance.
"Let's move." He grunted, picking up the pace.

The twins exchanged glances, but, having plunged head-first into the chain of events, they would have to tough it out on their own. Catori grasped her brother's hand and murmured a quick prayer to the Great Manitou asking for protection, and followed after the gruff Reznik.
No turning back now, Children of Turtle Island. No turning back.

As the group approached the source of the shrieking Reznik picked up his pace.
His eyes closed as his body and soul lead the way, drawing him in, luring him to the Hotel.
"Here..." He sighed.
The haunted hotel loomed over them, terrorizing their souls.
"Okay, now which of you wants to go in first?" He smiled at the group.
"Let's just clarify one thing before we go anywhere, okay?" Reznik paused, "No ******** heroics."
He eyed the twins, he knew they wouldn't kill, not even if he forced them.
"You two, I don't trust you." Reznik hummed gruffly. And with that he turned, sinking into the gloom of a nearby doorway.
