Niyana tried not to let Corrah's tone get bother her or the way he talke about them. She nods, "Well then if it is alright with them then thank you Corrah."
She looked down at Ruque and nods, "Yes you will be stay with me and we will teach you cooking and how to mend and build things. And we can also learn how to heal your siblings after they get all beaten up from training." She stroked his head knowing he was strong in his own ways even if it wasn't the physical ways. Maybe she could raise a fine healer!
Ruran glared back. The fear that the man put in him only making him more anergy. He hated that emotionless look and those pale blue eyes that tried to get him to bend. "Pitty I thought you were selling him." he said under his breath. He shrugged at his fathers words. If it would help him kill the doll twisting his woman's mind then he would train.
He was so tempted to yell at the man "Specail train me all you want you sick pervert I wont bend like my weak sisters!" But he did not say it just thought it though the his face gave way what he was feeling.
Kanis took her eyes from the deep scars and looked at her father and mother, "You found us someone to train with? I can become a knight?" She felt her cheeks flush softly and she bowed to Corrah, "I will do what ever it take sir...no matter the pain or suffering, I will become a knight under your training!" she tried to sound as much as a knight would to thier master but she didn't kow if it was right or not. She really should learn to read to find out how the greeted and spoke with thier trainer/master.

Ruque calmed down as Niyana stroked his head. Yes ... he would be all right ... and he would work hard to learn the things that his mother wanted to teach him, so that they wouldn't be so disappointed in him for not being able to be trained like his other siblings!
Corrah's eyes narrowed and his glare grew in intensity as he looked at Ruran.
"Piss me off," he growled, "and I will not hesitate to send you home. I am giving up my solitude, my quiet life, to train you and your sisters, and I will not put up with attitude. While you are with me you will obey me in every matter, to the letter, or you will be punished, and if I decide you are not worth my time you will be sent back."
His gaze moved towards Kanis as she spoke to him, and his eyes softened and his scowl disappeared. Yes, this is what a student should be like. He moved to stand in front of her and squatted down in front of her, lifting her chin with one finger.
"I am sure you will do fine," he told her softly. "Keep that attitude and you will make a fine fighter."
Then he moved on to Aras.
"You have good energy," he told her quietly. "You also show good promise. I believe that you and your sister will do quite well."
Even if the boy would need more work.
Aras flushed with pleasure, smiling brightly up at the man. "Thank you," she said warmly. "I'll do my best."

Corrah's glare only served to fuel Ruran's anger. He stood and and rolled his eyes, "I didn't ask to be trained. I didn't ask you to leave your quiet life and train us, that was my parents, so send me back with them if you want but I will not bend so easily to be anyone's beck and call boy!"
Niyana sat in shock at her sons words. This was not going to be good. She really wish she knew what had gone wrong with Ruran. Had it been something she had or hadn't done to him when he was in his vase? Was it even something that could help?
But she feared that maybe Corrah's darker side might rise up again and it had been going well...short of. She sighed things always did seem to start going wrong when Ruran was around.
Kanis felt her new master's eyes on her and she adjusted her bow to try and make it straighter and better. She listened to him kneel and tried not to gasp as she felt his callused scared finger cup her chin and lifted her eyes to meet his.
His hands were so strong and gentle. She could feel the power in him, the darkness just flowing ever so close to the surface beneath his flesh. He was a true warrior....The stories his scars could tell, the visions a look of his eyes could tell. He truly had to be a god among men and he was going to train her.
She heard his praise and she could not hide the smile that drew across her lips and she saluted him, "Yes sir I will do my best!"
She listened to the praise of her sister then froze in shock at her brother's words. How could he say that. She didn't know what to do....but she was worried.

Corrah stiffened at Ruran's words, and leaving Kanis and Aras once more he moved slowly over to the boy, his eyes glowing now with his anger. Without speaking, he reached down and grabbed Ruran by the front of his shirt as quickly as a striking snake, and picked him up and held him at an arm's length in front of him.
"You," he said quietly, his voice radiating with fury, "are not worthy to be called the son of these fine people. To be trained does not mean to be a slave, though if you continue like this you will be good for nothing more ... weak, worthless, brainless boy! Your sisters are of far more worth than you, and even your cowardly brother, hiding in his mother's arms, has more potential!"
Ruque heard the reference made to him, and his eyes grew wider and he curled up in a ball in Niyana's hands, terrified that the man would grab him next.
Celebor swallowed down his own anger. Obnoxious or not, he didn't like seeing his son being handled that way ... but if Corrah wouldn't train him, then no one would ... and Ruran needed training more in the mental sense than anything else, or else he would be a lost cause. He moved closer to Niyana and put one arm around her shoulders, both for her comfort and so that he wouldn't be tempted to do anything foolish.
Corrah just glared at Ruran, still holding him high above the ground.
"You," he growled, "are not worth the time ... or the effort ... of training ... you weak ... stupid ... boy."
Yet for all of his anger, it almost seemed as though he were testing him, challenging him to give a reason for Corrah to train him, making him want the training, even just a little bit.

Niyana pulled Ruque close and covered him more with her hand to try and calm him. She watched Corrah with her other son her body tensing as she fough the urge to jump up and stop the man but she knew that she could not do that and Celebor's reasuring arm helped calm her.
This was for Ruran's own good. He needed to find someone to listen to someone who would teach him and get threw to him. She just hoped Corrah could do it.
Ruran's eyes blazed, "I can not as weak as my photethic brother! And I am twice as smart as my useless sisters! Fine people my father was a warrior until my mother came along! I am the strongest and smartest of my siblings and I am not blinding by thier pothetic emotions and faults!" He was so full of anger right now he wanted to tear this man apart his body was tense and his muscles quaking in furry.
Kanis returned her gaze to the ground. It was not right to watch other's punishment unless told to do so. She winced at her brother's words about his own family but she remained quiet.

"You are quite wrong," Corrah snarled at Ruran, his grip tightening on the boy's shirt, so tight that his knuckles were white. "If you were smart you would have shut your mouth long ago and started listening to what other people say. If you were strong you would have started caring about other people, and about things other than yourself. Caring only for yourself and what will get you through life comfortably is nothing but weakness, and as far as I can tell you are the weakest person I have ever seen!"
He raised Ruran a little higher so that now he was glaring up at him from below.
"If you think that you are so smart and so strong," he growled, "then get down from there. Right now."
He just hoped the turd wasn't stupid enough to try make Corrah let him go from that height. He was holding him more than seven feet off the ground, the kid's legs would snap like twigs.

Ruran tried not to be blinded by the furry this man put into him. The fear that was put inside of him only turned into more anger. He growled and wriggled a bit. "Shut the hell up! I am not weak there is nothing wrong with not carring for others. Your only as strong as those you trust and if they faulter you will too!"
This loner should talk he didn't have anyone he was complaining about having to train the kids. He was a hypacrite and lier.
He had a brains storm some small part of intelegence made it to his brain and he smiled, "Sure I can get down. Sooner or later you will tire and drop me or let me go." He said so he just have to wait. As long as this pervert didn't say anything more he could wait no problem.

Corrah smiled wickedly, a smile that struck terror into the hearts of most who saw it, and his eyes narrowed slightly.
"Perhaps," he said in a low, challenging tone. "Or perhaps you will crave nourishment before I let you go. Or perhaps ..."
His grip tightened again, and his smile grew more frightening.
"... you missed the 'right now' part," he growled. "And that is the key here. There is one, and only one way, that you can get down from there right now, but I don't believe you're smart enough to figure it out. Not on your own."
Suddenly another figure, a teen about Niyana's height, appeared from the cover of the trees. She was wearing a green camo tank and white camo pants, army boots and gloves, and a black beret, and she had a brace of throwing knives strapped around each of her upper arms. She had short blond hair and warm blue eyes, and below her left eye was a scar about the length of a finger.
For a moment she just looked at each of the others who were there, and then she turned to Corrah and grinned.
"Starting the training already?" she asked in a bright and overly cheerful tone. "I thought you weren't going to start for a few days yet."
Corrah's expression didn't change, neither did his grip falter even in the slightest.
"Change of plan," he replied, his tone still a growl.

Niyana turned hearing a cheerful tone and looked at the rather tall teen. Niyana herself was 6'5 and this strange teen seemed oddly familar with Corrah. She couldn't be his girlfriend, could she? Na she must have been the one person he had trained before. Odd that it would be a girl though. She had expected a tough young man.
Ruran winced a bit at the look but his anger grew more. "I ain't saying sorry you pervert! Leave me hanging for all I care but I am not going to say I am sorry or I want to learn!" His bright blue eyes were grey in anger.
Kanis was startled by the sound of someone else and she looked up at the beautiful young fighter. Corrah must to a wonderful job with training. This woman was strong and bright...and so nice sounding. Kanis just watched the woman in awe completely ignoring her brother's problem with thier master.

Armus grinned and promptly forgot all about Ruran, turning her attention instead to the others who were present.
"Hello!" she said brightly, giving them a mock salute, her dog tags jingling against her chest. "Nice to meet you all! I'm Armus! I'm going to go out on a limb and say that you must be Celebor and Niyana and your wonderful family."
She held out her hand to Celebor to shake, and then to Niyana.
Aras stared up at Armus thoughtfully. She was a very nice girl, she decided, and she couldn't help but wonder just how much time she actually spent with Corrah, despite her training. After all, she was so nice ... and he was so ... strange ...
Celebor shook Armus's hand warmly, nodding. "Yes," he affirmed, "and these are our children, Ruque ..."
Ruque sat up a little straighter in Niyana's arms and smiled bravely at Armus, waving slightly.
"And Aras," Celebor added.
Aras waved eagerly, smiling brightly. "Hi!"
Armus giggled.
"And our other daughter, Kanis," Celebor added, nodding at Kanis, "and the one being ... ah ... disciplined ... is Ruran."

Niyana took the other's hand and smiled shaking it. "It is a pleasure to meet you, I take it you are the first and only trainee of Corrah?" She was very proud of Ruque's bravery.
Niyana was in almost as much awe as her girls. How could someone be trained by Corrah and still be so peppy and kind? He must be very very good.
Kanis stood up and saluted Armus, "A pleasure to meet you miss" she said standing all and trying to make a good impression. If Armus could turn out so well maybe there would be hope for her.

Armus nodded at Niyana brightly. "First and only," she agreed cheerfully. "And I was damned sure I was going to be the last. Honestly, the fact that he even considered training anyone else surprised me, but the fact that he's actually going to train two or three of your kids ..."
She shook her head incredulously, but she was smiling.
"You must have done something to really impress him," she concluded with a grin.
Ruque climbed up to sit on Niyana's shoulder, balancing carefully as he smiled at Armus.
"You're really nice," he told her sincerely - but then a worried frown creased his brow. "But ... do you really think ... I'm too scaredy to learn like Aras and Kanis?"
He blinked at her, eyes wide, biting his lip nervously as he waited for her answer.
"Aw, no, sweetie," Armus cooed at him, rubbing the top of his head with one finger. "You're just meant for other things, that's all! Not everyone can fight, and you're just too sweet to fight."
She winked at him. "Besides, someone's got to take care of your siblings when they can't take care of themselves. It's mighty rough up here, even when you're not being put through Corrah's training regime. They'll be needing your help from time to time."
Celebor smiled warmly. He suddenly felt much better about having Corrah train his children. Yes they would be hard put to, but seeing how Armus had turned out gave him faith.
Armus grinned down at Kanis. "At ease, soldier," she winked. "Your training hasn't started yet."
She squatted down in front of Kanis and tapped her lightly on the head. "But I would love if you would let me help out with your training too," she grinned.
Aras ran forward and stood next to Kanis, her teal eyes shining brightly. "And mine?" she asked eagerly.
Armus laughed. "And yours," she agreed.
Corrah was a little amused with how Armus was getting along with everyone, but he kept his fierce gaze on Ruran, his grip never wavering, his expression never changing. He had done this to Armus once, a long time ago ... though she had been a child at the time, instead of a surprise. She'd had the same stubborn and rebellious attitude ...
He had kept her in the air for nearly four days before she had given in to him. Ruran was much lighter: he was sure he could beat that record this time, if necessary.

Niyana smiled brightly. Yes this Armus truned out rather well. She knew her children would be in good hands down. And she was rather pleased with the way Armus handled herself with the children.
Kanis relaxed though when Armus spoke again she saluted, "Yes miss I would enjoy that...I am going to need as much help as I can get to become a great knight!"
Ruran didn't flinch or say another word he just hung there looking down at the dark man. He knew he could just slip from his shift but the fall would not end well. Nor would he land before Corrah caught him again and hung him the other way. He prepared him for a long wait.

Armus giggled and poked Kanis's elbow. "And you'll make a fine knight!" she said gleefully.
Ruque's eyes drifted to his brother, being held way up in the air, taller than even their daddy was.
"How long is he going to hold him there?" he asked Armus in a soft, worried voice.
Armus looked over her shoulder at Corrah and Ruran, and grinned.
"He kept me up like that for nearly four days when I was three times Ruran's height," she offered cheerfully. "With Ruran at that size ... I'd say Corrah can last a week. Maybe longer. I've never tested his endurance, not with something like that."
She winked at Ruque. "I like my meals."
Ruque looked at Niyana worriedly. "Is he allowed to do that?"

Niyana smiled down at her son, "Some trainers are like that and besides Ruran can say he does not want to be trained and Corrah will let him leave. We just have to see what happens." She stroked his head, "Don't worry Corrah wont hurt him...look how well he did with Armus.
Ruran hug quietly.
Kanis listened to Armus and tilted her head. They must be pretty close. She knew students and masters got close. You had to trust your master. But Armus was like Ruran when she was younger?
She was going to have her work cut out for her.
