Things could only go smoothly for Vasile himself for so long. After personally witnessing Cassidy's change, there was the unspoken promise of a pending change for Vasile himself. It had been some time, and hell, he had almost gotten used to the minor canine features. But in comfort in the time that changes come, wresting you back to an unfamiliar state of being. That night brings these changes. The first is the telltale feverishness and itchiness that has precluded most of the mammalian transformations on the island. You can't sleep well, and your dreams are plagued with very real, very disturbing imagry. It is in these pre-transformation dreams that many islanders find themselves the closest to their animalistic natures and any changes that the serums promise. Fur spreads, this time sparing no inch of flesh from coverage of the soft, silvery fur. His ears grow, stretch, and completely cover and fill with fur, amplifying his hearing and disorientation during the process. Allowing him to literally hear his popping, grinding, and legthening tailbone as it grows longer... and longer. Thick fur grows quickly over its length, leaving him with the full furry brush of a silvery fox. His hair also continues to grow, ligthening until it is a pure white. Finally, his nose tingles and itches and then burns as the pores widen and moisten as the skin darkens to black, leaving him with a moist sensitive tip that builds his sense of smell even more. While still not the full repotoire of a fox who has a muzzle full of sinuses to process smells, the world is suddenly a much more fragrant place. By the end of the process, Vasile is left very much in a 'furry' form - his build is still completely human but covered in fur. His feet are still plantigrade (flat-footed), he's got full range of mobility in his fingers, but his ears and tail are completely vulpine.

Chat with Ambrose Vasile followed Ambrose out. "Hey, hold up!" He didn't really know why he was following him, especially after that... that dream he had. Of course, people generally say they have weird dreams before the change, right? Thats all it was...
Vasile trotted up next to Ambrose. "You, ah, left fast?"
Ambrose slowed and turned with a sigh as he heard the approaching voice behind him. It wasn't that he didn't want to talk to Vasile, Ambrose was just feeling particularly down. And he knew that Vasile had every right to be in a poor mood as well, but Ambrose felt like he was being pulled in a myriad directions already. He needed to lift his own spirits, not take on the burden of another.
But maybe they could console eachother? After all... being selfish was only going to make things worse. "I'm sorry, Vasile." He finally said, paused in the path between the cafeteria and his duplex. "I just... There's a lot on my mind, and some of the things said there got to me a bit more than I would have liked to admit."
"Oh?" Vasile frowned. "I'm sorry..." His ears dropped and he shoved his black furry hands into his pocket. "I could, leave you alone, I guess..." However, it was said in that patheric tone, coupled with his whipped-puppy expression, that seemed to imply the very opposite.
He shook his head. "No... no it's alright. Honestly, I went to the cafeteria because I was tired of holing up by myself in the duplex. I... maybe it's the damn serum, but I don't like being alone for long periods of time." His ear flicked back and he glanced away as he finally put words to his suspicion.
"And.. I'm sure that you've... well... you just went through a rough transformation." He looked back up, a sympathetic smile.
Vasile made a slight grimmance. "I dunno... its weird. Like... like I'm looking at myself and I'm starting to get all, like scared and stuff.. but then all I can do is think of Cass..." he swallowed. "It makes me.. it makes me feel like i don't have room to complain, ya know?"
Ambrose nodded. He had felt very similar in the past. He didn't look like himself anymore. He had always groomed himself for a particular look, and one of Ambrose's few ways of dealing with stress and situations out of his control around him was to take control of his outward appearance... giving him the illusion of being on top of things. Coming to this island changed his look, changed his identity... and Ambrose still felt like he was in some bizarre limbo, even after adjusting to the unfamiliar face in the mirror. And the worst part about it was that he knew it wasn't complete. That even if he got used to this, it would only change again. That's why the news of Pyroth had scared the hell out of him. They were taking everything away?!
"I... I know how you feel, Vasile. Honest to God. Some days I count my lucky stars that I'm not..." He glanced around quickly, feeling guilty. "In Amaya's shoes... or Cassidy's... or even Greer or Awen. But... this isn't me. Even if they turned me into my favorite animal... and to be honest I never had a problem with wolves... but... I might like wolves, but I didn't ever want to BE one." He growled in frustration, not finding the words to express what he wanted to say. "I hate the looks of fear... of horror... that I've seen written on the new islanders' faces. And I know that even people who arent' scared... they view me differently than they would have if they met the REAL me."
He watched Vasile, sighing again. There. He was doing it again, bringing the focus to HIM. "I'm sorry. I'm sure I'm not helping."
Vasile didn't seem to mind, instead he nodded emphatically along with him. "Right, right? I mean, thats like exactly how I feel. I'm.. I'm almost afraid to look at myself in a mirror because... because I know I'm not going to like what I see. But if I try to complain, someone else will just say I look pretty!" He puased and scrunched his nose. "Am I... you know..pretty?"
Ambrose nodded. "Precisely." He replied with a bit of a smile. It was good to have someone else who was in the same situation as he was...
"To be honest, you don't look bad. But you're right. It's not you." An ear flicked back in hesitance. "I don't know if I'd use 'pretty' per se..." Even if the word is appropriate...
"Ian wasnt' far off, though. You dont' look too dissimilar to me, aside from fur color and the fact your hair seemed to have grown... and your tail is fluffier." He inventoried as his eyes trailed over Vasile.
"But... what scares me... I saw Pyroth just the other day. And he looked a lot like I do.... and Zach said he saw him today and he could barely stand up." His ears crumpled, his tail tucking. "Aubrey told me that even when this is still over, that we should be able to still speak, to stand up and have hands..." He took a breath "But it's the should that scares me."
Vasile was feeling over his new nose, winching and furrowing at its sensitivity as he listened to Ambrose. "So like.. you mean we actually become like... animals..not animal people?" His eyes widened a bit in surprise and his brush tail twitch behind him "I don't know!" Ambrose interjected quickly. Nothing scared him more than the thought of being a literal wolf on the island, running through the woods, hunting small animals... hunting other islanders... and completely forgetting his old life.
"I ... I am just saying.... maybe Zach overreacted... maybe Pyroth was just sore after a transformation... but... I don't know."
Vasile shrunk a little from Ambrose's answer, his ears dropping against his head and shying away. "Well, uh... so far no ones gotten, like, dumber, right? I mean, you mentioned the steak and all.. but he could still talk and s**t. ya know? You'd think if that was going to happen it would have already started, right?"
"That's true!" Ambrose latched onto this. Maybe even if they all did end up looking like animals... they'd still be able to think. Ambrose had had some... bouts with instincts, but nothing ever threatened to rob him of his cognizance.
"The only people I know who's.... really gone crazy with all of this is Jamal and Julian... and Julian's just...well, crazy crazy - not like an animal. And I think Jamal had.... issues to begin with as well."
Vasile nodded, kicking at some pebbels with his claws black feet. He had long since given up on wearing shoes. "So, like, do you think Jamal had the right idea? I mean.. they seem to have covered all thier bases. You don't think we can just,, you know.. overthrow the staff, do you?"
Ambrose shook his head quickly. "Given that we couldn't even break into the labs when the power was out, I think it's a stupid idea." Ambrose grumbled. "I think Jamal's more likely to piss the staff off and bring worse things on him and maybe us than if we leave well enough alone. Even if they left, then we don't get our injections. And if we don't, then yes - we probably won't change any more, but it might very well kill us. Like it or not, we're prisoners here unless some outside force changes that."
"Lovely," he mumbled, kicking a larger stone down the path. "Have you.. see Cass recently?"
Ambrose shook his head, pondering. "Not since... well...the lockout. And I was trying to avoid doing so given that you and she were lacking in the clothing department." He gave Vasile a snarky grin.
Vasile's ears turned a bit red and the right one twitched back twice in rapid succession. He cleared his throat, "Right, well, anyway.. she, uh.. changed again."
Ambrose looked up, eyes widening. "Cassidy, too?" There was a hesitance. Ambrose began to tick a count on his fingers, eyes showing that he wasn't liking what he heard. "You... you've changed as many times as I have now. If I'm right... Amaya, Cassidy, Colche and Pyroth have changed one more time. And I don't even know if thier change is the last one. Colche isn't even completely furry like you or me... This is assuming that we all have the same number of changes, though." Ambrose still didn't like the idea. Almost all of those people had originally changed after he had. Ambrose's fate was looming close on the horizon. What would become of him?
"I don't know. She isn't taking it well at all. She looks really..." Vasile swallowed, looking for a word. "...different."
It begged the question. "How... different?"
Vasile sighed. "Really different. Her hair's nearly gone and her scales are almost everywhere now." He thought back and motioned with his hands, "Her legs are nothing more than little stumps and she has to ...slither to walk." He shook his head slightly. "Her, uh, nipples are done, weirdly enough. And I dunno what happened to her... well you know what I mean," his ears reddened more. "And," he added quickly, "she's got red bird feathers on her arms like wings."
Ambrose whet his lips as he listened to the description. He hated the fact that he thought that it sounded more like Vasile was describing the monster in his next movie than his girlfriend.
He shook his head, the wince evident on his features.
But what was even worse, was the use of 'almost' in a few places.... She wasn't completely scaly... her legs were still there with a snake tail. Snakes didn't have legs..
But... they werent' completely changing into animals. How 'unfinished' would they look when they were finished.
"What... what do you think, Vasile? Do you think her... change is complete? Or... that there is more?"
Vasile swallowed. "I have no idea." He thought about it for a moment. "She looks kind of... stuck in between somewhere. But what kind of snake has wings? I mean...are they trying for something? Cass mentioned some mythical creatre called a..." he tried to recall. "******** it, I dunno. Do you think maybe he's just trying to make fake things? Like those crytozoologists or something? Maybe you're like.. the wolfman or something."
Ambrose shrugged. "Maybe.... I don't know. Hell, we could ask, but I don't know if we'd like the answers." He looked down at himself. "I sure look like the wolfman." Ambrose said, a bit bitter. "But then what about you? I don't know any fox man stories?" Or genet ones... but Ambrose wanted to leave Angelina out of the conversation if he could. Not only because he was still feeling very worried about her, but he didn't want to rub in Vasile's face that she got a 'good' animal and Cassidy didn't.
"But I mean, if we're not becoming complete animals, wouldn't we always look stuck 'in between'? How do we know when it's over?"
"Don't the Japanese have like.. were-foxes or something?" he ventured. He read a lot of scripts...people would try to make a movie out of anything.
"Maybe we should just ask. I mean, you said yourself that one chick is pretty nice."
Ambrose shook his head. "You're asking the wrong guy. But.... I don't see the harm if you really want to know in just outright asking. We're not going anywhere, they really don't have any reason to lie. It might be better than the nerves than just speculating."
Vasile just shrugged. "Maybe."
"Well...." Ambrose stalled, slipping his hands back into his pockets. "I'm still waiting to hear something about Angelina." Grr. He said he wouldn't bring it up. But.. he couldn't help it.
"Oh...I see," Vasile looked like Ambrose had just told him his dog died. "Okay, well, I guess I'll see you later.."
"I'm sorry, Vasile... I... I know how you feel. If you want to talk... I'll be around. I... I'm just a mess right now." He ran a hand through his hair, subconsciously trying to still groom himself when the world around him seemed to be in disarray.
"Yeah, sure, I know," he said. "I should .. go see Cass anyway. Bye.." Vasile kicked one last rock then truned around, heading vaguely in the direction of Cass's duplex.
He sighed, feeling bad watching his friend trudge off. Nothing seemed right recently. He wished he could do something... anything.
Feeling positively frustrated and helpless, Ambrose headed back to his own duplex.

Cassidy Smith RP LogIt was the moment of truth. Vasile didn't know why he had been so nervous. I mean, he wasn't afraid she wouldn't like him anymore, right? I mean... given her.. condition. But gah - why did he keep thinking about it in those terms. He hated how people called him 'pretty' or 'lucky." Yes in some ways he was - and a part of him was afriad Cass would resent him for not turning into something hideous. He walked the jungle, and Anjali's landscpaing, until Vasile gathered a boquet of flowers. He brushed his hair and put on a new pair of clothes. Promising himself he wouldn't get distracted this time, Vasile steeled himself and headed straight to her door. He gave a quick knock before he had a chance to turn back. "Heya. Cass...its me." Cass cleared her throat awkwardly; she had half-convinced herself that Vasile was avoiding her, and, well, if it came right down to it... she couldn't really blame him, if that were the case. "One moment, one moment," she called, and slithered off the bed. She set her book to one side, straightened out the bedsheets, and made her way to the door. She hesitated for a moment, her hand on the doorknob. This was... this was silly. She took a deep breath and opened it wide. "Vasile. Hi--" she said, and stopped. She tilted her head to one side, tongue flickering. "They got you," she said, slightly dumbfounded. Cass shook herself. Maybe that was why he'd been absent. "Well, come in, come in. Oh, Vasile..." Vasile gave her an akward smile as she opened the door, hos teeth locking together in a much more canine way than he was used to. He stepped in with a nod, looking suddenly very sheepish as he extended his arm, presenting the flowers. "Yeah... I'm all.. fuzzy," he stammered. Then winced, realizing how stupid that probably sounded. "I look so... different." Perhaps he was preaching to the choir, but he knew it was the truth. This change was much more drastic than his first - losing all trace of human skin or blonde to his hair. His face felt funny as his muzzle had just barely started for form, and his pads on his hands made his manuel dexterity feel uncordinated. "Very different," Cassidy agreed as she closed to door. She took the flowers gratefully, smelled them with another flick of her forked tongue. Vasile seemed, perhaps, further along than she had been after her second change, but that could have been her imagination. He certainly didn't look like Vasile DiRossi, Movie Star anymore. She put a hand on his arm--he really was fuzzy, wow--and said, "I should find something to put these in. Do you need to sit down? How long ago was it?" Vasile looked around and sat down on the edge of her bed, curling his long tail around him and over his lap. He had falling, very quickly, into a habit of stroking his fur on his tail when he got nervous, almost using it a security blanket. His black claws twisted through the silver fur as he watched her place the flowers in water. "I 'unno, a few days ago. I was eating in the cafeteria with Ambrose and then - just out of nowhere, ya know. Right there on the floor. With people watching." The pink of his ears flushed red with a bit of embarassment, though most of his blush was hidden under the fur on his cheeks, With the flowers safe in water, Cassidy turned back to him, her mouth slightly agape. "Oh. Oh, that's awful." She perched herself next to Vasile, a feathered arm around his shoulders. "I hope it wasn't too bad. If I could have been there for you..." Cass trailed off, not really sure how to finish that thought. Some girlfriend she was. In her agitation, the end of her tail twitched for something to coil around. She settled for hugging him tightly. Vasile's ears pressed back against his skull. Looking over her, and remember her transformation, there was no way he could possibly think his was worse. It was almost frustrating in a way - he hated that he felt guilty for not changing 'as bad' as she did. But at the same time, Cass was being surprisingly compassionate. Vasile knew that she probably wouldn't resent him now if he complained a bit to her, but it just didn't feel right. "It wasn't, erm.. I mean it wasn't good or anything. But I don't think it was that bad at least." He smiled at her and slipped a arm around her...waist-like area. Cass laid her head on his shoulder, vaguely enjoying the feel of his fur. She didn't think she could admit that to him, though. "I'm glad," she said. "I still wish I could have been there." He had been so very wonderful during her transformation, and she had been more-or-less hysterical, she thought. "I could've... well. Not exactly helped." What was there to do? "But tried to." He chuckled softly and reached out to take her hand. "Yeah well, I've gotten very little sympathy from most. Some guy, uh, Zach, I think, called me pretty." He smirked. "Well. he said I looked like Ambrose. But prettier." He shook his head. "So like... I guess its a fox, huh? The only silver fox I've ever seen was on a tack on Rodeo Drive." He stoked the tail again. "Guess its better than a poodle or something." " Much better than a poodle. And you are pretty." Cass grinned. "But I've always thought so." She gave him a careful look, however, her tongue flicking quickly. "A fox seems very likely. Especially with... well, with your tail. That looks like a fox's tail to me." It looked like it wanted petting; Cass tried to resist that urge. "Of course... well, most of my experience with foxes is having them run across the road at inopportune moments. They're cute, though. I'd think that'd be better than just an ordinary dog." She hesitated. "Zach said you were pretty?" she asked, and laughed lightly behind her hand. Vasile scratched the back of his head and gave another toothy smile. The tail thumbed a bit as Cass mentioned it, and Vasile, a bit in embarassed, tangled both hands back into it. "I guess so. Better than a dog, I guess. They're supposed to be all cunning, right?" He let a tipped finger slide over one of Cass's feathers as his eyebrow lifted just ever-so-slightly. "and eat chickens." But before he could even get off with a suggest eyebrow wiggle Cass giggled and his browline dropped. "I don't think he meant like that! Though now that you mention it, it was Ian who said I was pretty, not Zach. Zach was there he just looked kind of.. I dunno, shocked." Shaking his head, Vasile took on a more serious tone. "Speaking of dogs, though, you by chance haven't seen Brutus around, anywhere? I still can't find him." Though he tried to hide it - the look in his gave away just got deeply saddened he felt. "Chickens," Cass laughed. "I'm no chicken. Hell, I could probably join you in that, if there were any around." But at mention of Brutus, she sobered. "I haven't seen him. He must be around." She only half-believed this, she found. Lately, her mind had been such a confusion of urges and images, and she had caught herself trying to catch and eat that lizard... fortunately for it and her sanity, it had gotten away. While not so long ago she would have scoffed at the idea that someone would have eaten poor Brutus, she wasn't sure anymore. Unsure of how much of this doubt showed on her face, Cass offered, "I'm sure that if anyone knew anything they would say something. He's probably found something to eat and is just waiting for you to come find him." Vasile shrugged. "Maybe. But he doesn't tend to run off and I haven't sound him since after the lock out. I'm afraid something ate him." His frowned deepened. "Or someone. I heard that Jamal tried to eat some chick... er, Emelyn, I think." His brows furrowed. "And I know he tried to kill one of the staff members. He told me." "H-holy s**t." Cass shook her head, disbelieving. "I thought it was only me... I hoped, anyway." She tugged idly on her feathers, thinking. "He actually tried to kill Em? And one of the staff? The latter I don't exactly blame him for, but... er. Remind me to be careful around him, if I ever run into him. Is that what's going to happen to us? Are we all going to become that... that savage?" Vasile shrugged. "I don't know. I mean.." he tilted his head. "Ambrose and like... I heard Pyroth and stuff.. and you and some other people... they've had like two or three injections. ANd Jamal's only had one. And no one else is acting this crazy. I mean... you're farther than me and you're not, like, eating rats whole or anything." He stroked his tail and pulled his feet under him on the bed. "I've had two and I don't feel very different other than how I look. I think Jamal's just.. handling it bad." He looked around the room and frowned. "Ambrose is afraid that Jamal is going to ruin it for everyone. Do you really think they are going to treat us this well if Jamal kills Dr. Lockheart? I'm all for, I don't know, maybe a more organized approach. But I don't think just attacking the staff on sight is going to do us any good." "I almost ate a lizard," Cass admitted, her voice barely above a whisper. "I don't know what I was planning to do with it, but I think I was trying to eat it. It got away. I'm sort of glad." Her feathers ruffled slightly, and she added, "Well, I would certainly rather be here with the staff trying to make us happy, as twisted as that is, than have them not care at all about us other than as scientific subjects. I can't imagine much more bribery in the form of books will come my way if they have a change of heart." She gestured to her bookshelf with a rueful expression. "If they really wanted to, they could just put us in a zoo and do their thing. This is better. I.... I don't expect to be rescued anymore." Vasile's ears pricked forward in surprise, then flattened again as she confessed abuot the lizard. Now that he had stuck his foot in his mouth, he just let it drop, not knowing how to respond. "Well, I don't want to lose all hope. But I do think that they do a lot for us they don't have to. Obviously they aren't worried about being caught to regulations or anything. They treat us pretty nice. I'm worried Jamal might ruin that for all of us."
"If he does..." Cass hesitated. "If he does, he'll have a lot of people very angry at him. He had better not. I'd be half inclined... but I couldn't, not really." She sighed. "Or someone should at least warn him that it isn't too late for them to add something to his serum, something a lot worse than whatever they've got him on. I know it's not too late."
Vasile gave a solemn nod and looked at her wings. "Maybe it would be for the best. Maybe not something... worse, Heh, maybe a bunny or something?"
"He certainly wouldn't be quite so violent," Cass said with a bit of a smirk. "Or a mouse, or.... I don't know. Something completely unassuming and fluffy. See him try to eat anybody, then."
Vasile chucked and leaned back a bit on the bed. "So, ah... how have you been... er, adjusting?"
Cassidy shrugged a shoulder awkwardly. "All right, I guess. I've been taking a lot of walks in the jungle... well, not walks exactly. You know what I mean. But I thought I wouldn't want to ever go back to the jungle after the lock down, and I've been quite enjoying it." She tugged at her feathers again. "Little things get to me, you know. Like trying to wash what hair I have left--baths aren't really quite as fun when you fill up the tub entirely on your own. Little things. Not a big deal." She looked at Vasile curiously. "What about you?"
Vasile's ear flicked back and he shrugged as well. "Clothing itches under the fur. And shoes don't fit well anymore. I can hear better, and smell everything - oh god thats maddening to try and get used to. But for the most part, its just getting back the physical changes, I suppose."
"I know what you mean about the sense of smell, anyway." Cass's tongue flickered. "It's still so weird, at times. I still feel human, mostly, on the inside... I suppose it just takes time." She stretched out on the bed beside Vasile, grimacing slightly.
Vasile rolled over on his stomach and stretched out beside her, throwing his feet out behind him and resting his chin on his elbows. He scooted closer next to her and let his puffy tail curl over her lap. "Guess so." He let out a yawn and nuzzled his face into the crook of her arm.
Cassidy ran her hand down Vasile's back. He was so... so soft. She'd have to get used to that, she supposed. "You're tired?"
"A bit." He smiled sheepishly. "I been dithering coming to see you the better part of the day." He scrunched his nose. "That sounded bad. I mean, not that I didn't want to see you - I was just, I guess, nervous about seeing you after the change. My change. You know.."
"I know." Cass smiled back. "It's easy to do that, but what can I possibly say about any of your changes that isn't hypocritical? You can sleep here, you know. It's okay."
"I know.. its just. Weird. I'm not used to it... I'm sure I'm just being paranoid. EVerything seems to be changing." He nuzzled closer, and it wasn't very long before he nodded off right then a there.
Cassidy stared distantly up at the ceiling, unblinking. "Everything is changing," she answered, though fully aware that Vasile was asleep. She shifted her arm carefully, so as not to wake him, but to hold him better. She'd take and offer what comfort was possible.

Sabin Duvert Vice Captain

Sabin mumbled, a small animal carrier tucked under his arm as he slipped out of the labs and to the village. He REALLY didn't hope he lost his job over this. That would be an even more upsetting end to an already infuriating day. He paused outside the ex-star's duplex, considering. He could just leave it there. It would be easiest. He paused. Hell, what other entertainment was he going to get any time soon? He lifted his hand - not the one that was sore from punching the metal wall - and rapped on the door. Maybe he wouldn't even be home. "Just a tick," came the star's voice from behind the door. Vasile had just recently gotten out of the shower, starting to be able to get them under an hour in length, even with all his fur. He was standing in front of the mirror brushing out his hair with a towel tied firmly around his waist. He pulled the brushed through his white hair a few more times, frowing at the wave that refused to be brushed out. Giving up, he headed over to the door. Half expecting it to be Cass or Ambrose, he didn't bother looking
Instead, standing in the door frame was a strange man dressed in dark clothing, a top hat, white hair in a ponytail, and carrying a petcarrier that faced away from the door. "Vasile, I presume?" The man lifted an eyebrow, taking in the very vulpine form of the man in person. It took Vasile a moment to recognize the man, the first time meeting him he looked a lot less formal. "What the hell do you want?" he sneered at the staffer, then eyed the carrier. "BRUTUS?!?"
Sabin raised an eyebrow daringly. "Well, if you don't want him back..." Sabin trailed... "I thought you might be happy that it was me that found him instead of a hungry islander during the lockout." Vasile clamored to open the cage, his face honestly looking like he was going to cry with joy. It took him a few moments to realize something was terribly wrong. "Oh my god..." he gasped... "what did you DO??!"
Sabin scratched the back of his head. "Yes, well, there is that." He flashed the foxman an unapologetic grin. "My baby...what did you DO to him..." Regardless, Brutus didn't seem to be upset. The middle head especially, looked VERY happy to see his old master. His tail wagged and all three of the heads reached up to lick at his face.
"He's fine. He's just... a prototype." The smile turned wicked. "But you should thank me. He was saved from culling when the 'good doctor' found him." "CULLING?" he squeaked, clutching the dog(?) to him.
"Yes." He responded darkly. "So... keep an eye on him from now on." Sabin said with a repramanding tone. "He could have been eaten during the lockout if I hadn't found him." Vasile puffed up, defiantly. "Well if we hadn't had been locked out to begin with, he wouldn't be lost."
"Details, details." Sabin waved him off as he started to turn. "So, happy trails." Vasile just watched the man go, but was quickly distracted by the cuddly puppy in his arm. A warm smile crossed his face. Dispite the fact of the extra heads, he was happy to have his precious pet back. His tail swung happily behind him.

Timothy had finished his shower and was stepping out of it. Now that that was done with. Timothy picked up the tissue he'd wiped the blood off his face with, and tossed it into the nearby trash can.
Now that that was done with.
Timothy had found his sleep disturbingly woken up by the annoucement. He hadn't been happy about that considering the long night. He hadn't been around Avery as much recently, he'd needed some real... me time.
Timothy heard Vasile upstairs and realized maybe... maybe he wanted to be outside.
Just in case.

Vasile sauntered out of his duplex, his three headed dog racing around his ankles. Once outside the monsterous little dog flitted down the steps and relieved itself in the bushes. Then, it turned its attention to Timothy, barking and yipping with all three heads simutaneously, causing three times more noise than an animal its size should make, and jumping aroung the skunk boy's heels.
Vasile had been leaning lazily against the doorframe, but leaned over the railing to look down at his neighbor, causing his long, flowing hair to topple over his face. "Hey there, Tim! Been a while!!"

"My god what is that?" Timothy screamed a bit. As the tiny three headed dog barked all around him. Timothy looked down at the yappy little three headed creature.
He saw Vasile and realized that this was... or atleast used to be Vasile's dog. He guessed it still was... sort of.
"Uhh... Hi Vasile... your looking nice." he had to admit, looking over Vasile that he was still pretty attractive. He hadn't seen him in a while, lots of time with Avery.
Do I just have a canine thing or what? Timothy wondered to himself.

Vasile actually smiled. "Thanks!"
He started down the stairs. "Hey, Sir Brutus, get over here!" THe little dog rushed over and lept into Vasile's open arms. THe fox man addresed Tim. "Its my dog.. kind of. Sabin saved him from teh lockout.. but then, well, grew extra heads on him. Its weird at first.. but I'm just really glad he's okay." Vasile scratched the middle head and it licked happily at his fingers. The left head looked uninterested, but the right regarded Tim curiously.
"You're...looking nice yourself." He looked over the furry man. "So..where have you been? I haven't seen you around?" He tossed his head, throwing his white mane behind his shoulders.

"Oh... I've... ummm... been around?" Timothy said. He wondered why he didn't just tell him about Avery. I mean it wasn't a secret or anything.
Why didn't he want to tell Vasile?
He felt the need to keep clarifying. "I haven't been around my duplex much. Spent some time out... working on my music and stuff."
And stuff was defintly a good phrase for it.
"How about you?"
