Dancer laughed softly and was glad to help in making Llune so very happy. Taking the blade she was using Dancer moved to the waters edge and cleaned it before taking the dagger back to Savith. "Thanks again. You helped make her very happy." A glance shot in Llunes direction with a smile. Dancer then made her way to the edge of the cove area to look about for various little things they needed such as dried wood for fires and more nuts for Llune her mind drifting between here and sending.

She continued down the shore until she could no longer be seen.

((OOC: Just FYI, you don't have to repost or anything but for future RP's since we'll probably be RPing coconuts a lot.

An unripened coconut has a sweeter water inside, and the "meat" of the coconut is soft, almost like a gelatin and can be eaten with a spoon if so desired.

A ripe, or over ripe coconut, the endosperm inside the water has leaked into the fruit hardening it, and making the water inside more bitter, and the flesh much harder.

Just thought I'd clear that up for those not knowing the growth pattern of the coconut.I cook with fresh coconut all the time, and use both unripened soft coconut and ripe coconut for various recipes.))

Finished with his cleaning, Blaze turned his attention to the mangled seabird. Plucking the biggest feathers for Starsong's arrows, he pierced the bird's throat and contentedly drank its blood. It was his habit to do so; often the desert had held more blood than water. Sucking out the last drops, he ate the rest of what was really not much of a meal at all undernath those puffy feathers.

He watched his companions for a while, trying to take in the myriad of things, customs, and mannerims they exhibited. He thought briefly of a tribe, and a chief, but the tropical heat held him in it's arms and made him dozy. Finding a sunny patch of soft clean sand, he made himself comfortable and fell lightly asleep to wait for nightfall.

He chuckled a bit and jogged a bit till he was in step with her, putting his arm around her shoulders. "Oh yes, we had a grand hut! One which almost everybody slept in, in the center was a big firepit with something cooking or smoking on, and everybody had furs, which they kept near the fire to stay warm when we all went to sleep." He sighed then frowned. It had been the first time he truly felt homesick. Probably because he knew he might never get to go back, and even if he did, it might not be there.

Llune is on a mission: Make BASKETS.

Llune, a master (mistress?) seamstress, is versed in every form and fashion of weaving, able to take nearly any flexible material and form some sort of fabric out of it. I mean, she's been doing this sewing stuff for about 8,000 years, and making her own fabric for only a few decades less than that. Her skill is impressive, her delicate fingers so well trained that she barely looks at the leaves she gathers from the area surrounding the cove, spending her senses instead upon the feeling of them under her fingertips. In an instant she can judge which have similar pliabilities, are free of holes and will cut to the proper length.

Making sure they'll MATCH is done by eye, and every 20 leaves or so. Afterall - Llune is an ar-TEEST. She's lost to the rest of them - though directly addressing her would bring her out of her flurry - doing what Llune does best - make pretty stuff! Indeed, it is likely that Llune will have already woven a small trial basket from the shredded leaves before anyone can ask her what she's up to.

(Oh, and they'll be Niiiiiiiice baskets to. With decor. And lids. Handles. Separate compartments for your makeup. Colorcoded. With a cherry on top. I mean N-I-C-E.)

Content with her task, Llune hums softly.

Pale green eyes followed the female elf as she walked away from teh group to the cove. They scanned over the group, but followed the lone elf closely. A small wolfrider, Dewpaw, hid behind some rocks in the cove where the other elf was approaching. She crouched low next to a brownish-grey wolf, keeping her body still. She had learned well to track and hide, and she prided herself in these skills above all others. Two daggers were tied at her wiast, but neither were drawn. Nor did she give any move toward them as the otehr elf grew closer.

'Searching for something?' Dewpaw thought, as she watched the elf's movements.

Dancer was lost in her mind and looking for dry wood when Fire Bright sat up from his napping. His ears shifted a bit and Dancer looked at him. She took note of where the tigers attention was and dropped anything in her arms. Taking a deep breath she tried hard to tell what was out there. The fire mixed with the sea air made it difficult for her to deceiver things. Dancer would need more practice on this air filled with the smell of the vast deep. The large cat soon stood and growled low. The long tail flicked sharply from side to side and large claws pushed into the ground slightly. Dancers mind reached out softly as she had done with Crosscurrent. It was an open send for all and anyone to hear. **Everyone something or someone is out there. Hello, Can you hear me?**

Dewpaw glared at the large cat, cursing him for giving away her position and herself for getting found so easily. 'But it was an animal's sense,' she told herself. She stood slightly from her crouch, showing herself from where she was behind the rocks. The send surprised her, not that the elf could but that the elf would to a stranger. She had felt the pain of blacksending and did not like to leave her mind open to it.

*Yes. I can hear you* her send was only to the cat elf. Dewpaw stood straighter, walking slowly from the cover of the rock and the saftey if provided. *Who are you? You aren't a wolfrider...* her send trailed off with her thoughts. She thought she would find the survivors of her holt. But that thought, she realized, was more of a hope.

Savith took his bootknife back with a nod, sparing a faint smile as his eyes trailed toward his now content Mother. With Starsong moving off, Llune happily making whatever it is she's making, Peyote and Relim off to find a hut space, and Blaze laying down for a nap, Savith's attention followed Dancer (after a brief moment of swallowing back his gag-reflex at the blood-slurping desert-dweller). The both, after all, had some business to attend to. Business they could possibly get to quite soon, now that everyone was otherwise distracted. Feeling a bit stronger, Savith lifted from the ground gently, easing his way into the air to follow the catelfess. It felt good to get into the open air again, even if the sun was high over head. The breeze from the ocean cooled him as it pulled his hair from his cheeks and stirred it about over his shoulders and across his back. His mind, about to reach for Dancer's, was brought up short as she sent openly.

The hope of yet another survivor, and knowing that now they had the supplies to fed one more extra body, sped Savith's heartrate slightly as hope flared to life. He made his way over, drifting on the breeze. From his vantage point he saw Dewpaw as she stood, but did not hear her private locksends. For a moment he frowned sadly, but then shook his head, pushing it away, and made his way over slowly. As he drifted, he studied the smaller elfess. Wolfrider. Young. Hunter. With a bond. So many hunters. So little game. Tensions are soon to run high, and the thought made Savith's eyes narrow and his lips press together unhappily.

At Dancer's send, Blaze snaped awake. Hearing no responding send and unable to see the young elf from where he was, he snatched up his staff and began to walk quickly out towards where Dancer stood, ready for anything. **What is it, Dancer?** His attention swithched to Savith, who he was suprised too see was flying again. **See anything from up there, glider?** His sends were private, but then he opened up to his full-powered, singeing send. **Show yourself!** Had he known that he only faced a cub of an elf, he would have been more gentle. But as far as he knew it could be humans, or worse.

Savith was about to answer the private send, but the sheer force of Blaze's send... Ah, but it ached him so. And once again, Savith found himself floundering slightly in the air. He wavered, dropping a few feet before catching himself. The headache that had been brought on by heat and fatigue was back, and as tired as he was, he couldn't focus past it. Unsteadily, he worked his way toward the ground, trying not to drop unceremoniously to the sand like he had earlier. His pride still stung form that.

Sneering, he flung back a terse locksend at the fiery elf, **Stop with the sharp-sends, Cousin! There are more delicate minds than ours about.** But that he meant his mother, since he really didn't want to admit that right now the singeing sends were probably aching him more than Llune anyway. **And yes I saw something before you so gently pulled me from the sky. It's a hatchling, and one of Starsong's tribe most likely.**

Dancer smiled softly and placed a hand on Blaze's shoulder. "Easy killer" A gentle chuckle and a flick of her head in the direction of the now standing Wolf Rider. "You want to give her the same kind greeting you gave me?" The slender fingers slid from his shoulder and Dancer moved over to Fire Bright. Placing her hand on his still grumbling body she spoke sharply. "Now stop." It took a bit but he did and sat. Those big yellow eyes never left the young elf or her bond though as the tail flicked slowly back and forth. "Welcome, I am Dancer." Her voice was soft and sweet like bird song and a smile as bright as the morning star when high in the sky. "I am a Cat Elf and that is Fire Bright my bond." She motioned to the great cat. "We have food and clean water that we are more then happy to share with you."

Dewpaw backed away from the approaching elves. They were not wolfriders, and she was not used to any other elf. Their appearance was so different that she nurtured the thought that they weren't elves as she first though. Her wolf bond stepped infront of her, still only a welp like herself. He growled, following the instinct to protect his elf bond.

The sharp-send hit Dewpaw, such that she physically recoiled. Her eyes shut against the send, as she anticipating a blacksend, but ti did not come. *Who are you?* she asked again, this time an open send. She wanted to find her tribesmen, not these others. She stared at Dancer and her bond, but did not repsond.

Once he was safely on the ground, Savith made the rest of the way over on foot, head still aching and the frown slow to disappear from his features.

"I am Savith," he said aloud, not trusting his mind to be gentle at the moment. "Dancer you've met, I see. We are survivors, like yourself, and we are, as Dancer mentioned, "happy you are among us. Do, join us for a meal, and rest. There's even a wolfrider about, if you feel you'd like to howl for her."

Dewpaw stepped forward, placing a soothing hand on her bond's head and muttering calming words. "I am Dewpaw and this is Morningtail." She kept her guard up, still keeping her distance, but her hands had yet to move toward her weapons. "You're survivors? But the holt was hit. You aren't from the holt." The flying elf was stranger even than the cat elfess to her eyes.

She did not know how far-readhing the catastophe was, ignorant of the lands beyong her home. She gripped the scarf around her neck. "You're friends? Why do you blacksend?" she asked, refering to the harsh sharp-send.
