It occured to me last night that River-Song may very simply be Martha Jones' future daughter. She loves him because her mother did, and she'd probably have met him a million times growing up and hearing stories enough to make her fall into hero worship with him. And maybe she did her thesis on him and that's why she has that diary.

Yes, but how would she be in the 51st century?

I wonder why I didn't get as scared as everyone else? I expected to going in... weird I am going to leave off any further comments about River Song until after tonight's episode, which I won't get to watch until late tonight if not tomorrow (remember it is only 2pm here)

I didn't think about that until after I posted, but then I thought about the question and figured maybe it still could be one of Martha's descendants or, it still could be her daughter, and she pulled a Mickey Smith and wanted to stay in the 51st Century, since it does seem to be a favorite of the Doctor's anyway. 3nodding ...Just trying to rationalize my theory. xp ninja
