Ive been really busy with school too! Im freaken out!
Im going to Fanime but not the potluck. Im going to be in my cosplay and with a huge group of friends. It sounds like alot of fun though!!!! I hope there are more meets coming up. Actually, I was thinking of having a potluck tea party at my house when schools out. If our around you should defiantly check it out.

all these photos are really cute! and i love everyone's dresses! but does anybody know where I can go to find a dress as such? right now, all I have is accessories and I'm really looking for a place to buy one. Please PM me if you know!

Hi there. I'm still new to Lolita but this is my fist Loli outfit. I made the skirt and the top was just one I found at a random store. I love peasent tops ^_^

I love peasent tops ^_^ You look really nice, and great job on your first project! Welcome to the community. If I may, here are a few bits of constructive criticism for your second outfit! Next time, I would use cluny lace, or a softer type for your skirt. It looks like you used synthetic, which isn't as favorable, but correct me if I'm wrong. Good eye on the puff sleeves and pin tuck details on the blouse, but I feel as if it may be too low cut. Try to find another blouse with a peter-pan (rounded) collar. For summer days though, I see this being a nice, cooler alternative. Overall good find. Also, a nice head accessory would be nice. It would be great if you made a head bow with the same fabric from your skirt!

oh my. here I go. My first picture post... I apalogize in advance for them being mirror pics, im not cool enough to ask someone to take em for me. i wore this afew weeks ago...its more casual i guess. just my favorite cardigan/sweater and this black ruffley dress. you cant see the ruffles though cuz they're top-side covered by the cardigan. and yes, i have no fun headpeice yet. i realize this. (looks better IRL)  This is just an off-brand i got for meh B-day... (momo's. but it doesnt suck. it had an awful ruffle at the bottom wich looked WAY to maid-esque and was a dredful material, but i removed it) edit: finally took a nice clear pic. and im in desperate need of a petticoat indeed. (=  im just a starter loli, but hopefully I'll extend my wardrobe in the future

^ That's adorable! All I would say is to maybe curl your hair, and get a petticoat. Those things really make a difference.
EDIT: (( I just realized that it looks kinda curled, but it's so hard to see....Sorry! and I made typos. Fixing that.))
You've very lucky, though! You've got nice long hair- so you can curl it or wave it, you can do many things with it with just a little bit of time.
I guess it's finally time I posted a picture....My hair is short, and this picture isn't very good- but here you are...
This is at the Royal-T cafe in Culver City, CA. You guys should check it out, they've got great food, and really yummy tea~ (I'm the one with the short brown hair...and pale skin. My friend (The dark one) is wearing a Bodyline dress (Which is surprisingly nice.) and my Asian friend is wearing one of my skirts, but she doesn't have a petticoat.
Oh. And you can kiiinda see my BJD, Dante. My friend is holding him. (DOD, DOC Homme Kirill, 45 cm)
...Speaking of Petticoats, I've had the same one for three years, so It's about time I got a new one...That's why my dress is so....flat. Sorry!
PS. I need better socks and shoes...and I'm making such a silly face here...AND...I'm not wearing my mini top hat... Oh goodness I don't really want to post this I look horrible and I look fat (-really skinny-) but I'm going to post it anyways so here please enjoy it! -sob-

My friend got a petticoat from inthestarlight.com recently, and it's as nice as my BtSSB one! It's easier to get your hands on, but about the same price. It seems like it'll last a long time, too. But...the shipping is muchhh cheaper. I mean, around 5$ around the USA. Or around that price. I haven't gotten anything from them in a long time. Good luck finding a petticoat~
(I should get myself one xD My pooooor petticoat is...well...dead.)
