aarrggg I hate it when I'm ridiculously early. I mean, didn't I JUST have my period... seriously, I need to start marking it on the calendar lol. Anywho, leaks again sad Not as bad as last time though, I think, I just need to get accustomed to emptying it more often. Because I emptied it at lunch, then not till the end of my shift at 6 and it was at 10 to 6 I had my first leak for today.

I find it creepy that a man would have such a fascination with menstruation. @ Crazy Cat: I have mine marked on my iCal. I also have the moon phases in there as I follow that. It helps with figuring stuff out as well as keeps a record.

(it's not very regular). After a few cycles the website will start estimating when your next cycle will be.

Wow, this is fantastic. I had never heard of this before and the next chance I get I'm buying a DivaCup to try out.
Thanks for the website links - I found a store only 30 minutes from me! (and considering I live 25 min out of the city that's really close) heart

I'm glad to see that a lot of people love the divacup; or are willing to try it! Whenever I tell anyone they are like.. "ew that's gross". Haha; it's just blood! You gotta get over it eventually if you are a girl.
I found mine at London Drugs when I was there with my boyfriend and HE convinced me to buy it after I told him about it! -I lucked out.. finding a man I can actually talk about womanly junk with-
I never had to twist mine while putting it in.. and it stays in place perfectly; never had a leak even the first week I used it!
It's great being able to sleep totally naked and not having a little string hanging out; or going swimming and not worrying about the string! And of course less waste! I was using regular Tampax with the cardboard applicators since those were biodegradable but I was still using like 20 a month. O___O

Wow, this looks amazing!
I tend to have the same problem with tampons drying me out and I'm always self-conscious about pads. I am worried, however, about one activity. I was looking under the FAQ section for sports and I saw that it did not mention riding horses. Do any of you have experience in this area? Tampons can sometimes be rather painfully depending on the discipline I am practicing and pads...well, pads are uncomfortable all around. Would I be unable to use the DivaCup while riding, or would it live up to its expectations?

Riding horses should be fine. I haven't ridden since getting mine but I've been on 4-wheelers and a motorcycle with no problems.
Yoga gives me some issues though. Mostly just the flat on the back poses on heavy days. It shifts and can leak. That's the only difficulty I've ever had with mine.

I read about these a few years ago and dismissed it, but after reading all of your testimonials, I'm gonna save up for one ^_^ I could only imagine being at the aquarium and having to change a tampon every few hours or having a chafy pad on...yuck!

I have to tag team it between reusable pads and my cup, I find that the first day of my period when my cramps are so painful I can barely think, I get way worse cramps when my cup is in. So for the first day I use the pads. But after the first day I use the cup.
But I've found that I can't use chemical laden tampons anymore. I feel really sick when I use them now.

Yay! Thank you! My boyfriend is picking it up for me because the whole foods is actually on the way to my house so it would be a waste of gas to pick me up then go back =D But he's going to look at the price first and if it's more than $30 I'm just going to order it from amazon because it's cheaper, so then I'll have to wait til next month. I'm really excited about it.
