"Oh really? I would be honored to join your team once I prove myself, this mission maybe an example to my skill. Your group sounds exclusize, above the standards of most groups. A group posting their listings seem desperate, by not posting yours, you seem stronger. I like that, if I prove myself, it will be a honor to fight along side you. Of course, we first must get to Meteo and claim the prize that is ahead and beat those dogs to victory. By he way, what is your group called? Something intresting I presume?"
Kouod felt lucky, he finally fund a group that seemed exceptional for his liking. This Shadow seemed to be his ideal leader, someone he would follow even to Venom itself. Plus it wouldn't be a better credability if Koudo joined his group first, meaning he would have top priority within his mercenary group other then Shadow since he leads the group. No doubt he would also be worknig with other mercenaries of great skill, this sounded too good to be true.

Oull looked around as they aproached meteo. "Hey boss, what's the plan?" After a few seconds he realized he was on a different com signal. "Oh well, spliting up is a pretty good idea"
His ship veered off sharply from the others but turned while they were still in range on his scanner. "Now let's see what we have here." He slowly down greatly as he neared the bulk of the astroid field. Bombs fell from his hatch under the cockpit as he walked, beeping as they waited for the explosion signal. "Heh, hope koudo doesn't follow me though. Hate to have to fight him."

An explosion sounded....well, it would have, if sound could travel in space. Instead, the explosion lighted up the area, and a ship flew out of it, heading towards a set area. No one, not knowing where this area was, would be able to find it, it was so hidden. But alas, "X" knew exactly where it was.
It had taken him three days to find the score, but it was definitely worth the payoff. 100,000 credits, all of which will go to his ship and some food. Anyways, his ship settled down on a nearby rock, ready and waiting for the correct acceptance from the area. Hopefully no one noticed him around here, although that would be difficult with all the metal ores distorting frequencies.

As Fokkusu got closer to Meteo, the asteroids started to mess with the radar. The screen started to flood with red and white dots. The screen then started to get fuzzy. Fokkusu took his right hand off of the joystick and started to press a sequence of buttons over his head of him. After he was finished the radar screen went dark. It stayed dark for a couple of seconds before flickering back on. None of the asteroids where being displayed on the screen.
What did surprise Fokkusu is that when the radar came back on, there was one more red dot near the field. He decided to ignore it. The radar system was advanced being that the ship was originally designed for electronic warfare. The radar though is the only one of the things used, as the rest was scrapped. The radar can detect bodies of metal, but it can also detect radar signatures, com, and plasma engine signatures. The Shadow Striker was originally designed to cloak itself and become invisible, and to jam radar and communications. However, these things would not be practical to a mercenary who mainly dog fights.

"Heh, this is gonna be fun." His wings folded sideways to increase his agility and dodged a large asteroid. "Gagh, my scanners jammed 'cause of these cursed asteroids! Nothings working!" He tried to find the other but all he saw was asteroids in varying sizes.
"Great great great, I'm lost in meteo, just great." He shot through a small asteroid in his path and continued to search. He checked his bomb ammo and saw he had none left. "Heh, guess I've got somewhere to put stuff I find." He noticed something that didn't look like an asteroid but it was too far too tell what it was. "Hmm. Maybe I found what we're looking for." He veered sharply in the object's direction and boosted the engines so he could reach it quickly.

"Asteriods, no problem for my Fist. Good luck McKnight, I'm off to search."
The top panel of Koudo's Fist opened, comnig out was a dish like weapon that he would use. This was one of his heavy weapons; The High Grade Proton Laser. Its primary purpose was to take down shields and primary functions on larger ships, such as dishes and control outlets. It would be ok for asteroids if you wanted to make a hole in them, but if critical points were hit, it coudl cause them to fall apart. The dish glowed red and after seven seconds of charging, the laser shot for another seven seconds in one straight beam of red energy at the targeted meteor. Koudo missed the critical point, usaully it was in the middle, but for this one it wasn't. He wouldn't try firing at it again, didn't want to waste the time. Instead he flew around it, which consumed a good minute thne it would have to actaully just go through it.
"Now, if I were a relic, were would I be? Some place untouched for a long time, something that looked ancient..."

As he approached the objecy, he noticed the increased number of asteroids around them. "what the?" He quickly flipped through the signals until he found the bosses. "Hey boss, I think I found what we're looking for. Even if it isn't, it'll probably catch a high price." He quickly got above it and slowly hovered down at it. "almost, almost...got it!" He quickly closed the hatch and turned on the speaker again. "Hey boss, got something. Wanna meet up some where?"

"You can meet up after I take your findings."
Koudo was looking for his own relic when the owl pilot's ship was spotted on his radar. His radar was differnt, it was designed to spot the energy signatures made by ships. This was a big help in fights, but someone coudl easily suprise him if they had their ship turned off for just a moment. The radar would take several seconds before being able to track the signature of that ship again, large energy signals also forced the radar to shut off from overload such as ships liek the Halberd.
Sorry buddy, nothing personal."
Koudo's bottom weapon on the Fist's belly open to be hodling a missile, the Sentienal Missile. Its puprose was to be fired at a single ship, explode upon contact with the ship and spray a fray of plasma needles that would affect other ships. Plamsa needles attached to ships would cause minor burns to the hull of lighter class fighters, but wouldn't directly break through. The missile was jsut a few seconds from being locked on, Koudo just needed to keep a good distance close to the owl's ship.

Oull noticed the Fist and smiled, resting near his gun was one of his high grade bombs. "Heh, might wanna check where your gun is." He flipped the top of his control and pressed a button, immediately all of the bombs he had layed exploded, and several were near his ship. dust covered the area, though he didn't stay long enough to find what happened. "See ya!" He turned his ship and flew off at full speed.

((Much better.))
"It's a trap!"
Koudo had to spin his control wheel quickly, but he still took quite a bit from the blast. The main bulk of it was avoided, but he ended up hitting an asteroid with the left back of his ship. The engines needed to be restarted from the heavy impact, he would have to float there for a few minutes while the main engines cool downed. Till then, he would have to use his secondary engines to try to avoid other asteroids, then pick back up on that pilot's signal.
"Clever, next time I'll shoot first."
Koudo shold have detected those energy signals from the bombs, they must have been trip mines. Mines only showed energy when they're activated. If they were remote, they must have been using a weak signal to hide the energy traces. Thsi would work to his advantage if he striekd from far away, the bombs would have to be close by to their owner in order to hide their energy signatures.

((I talked to ChaosGodCloud, hes not making a post tonight. =( ))
Fokkusu dropped his speed dramasticly as he entered the heart of Meteo. Several flashes of light shined behind him but he payed no mind. His com system was off so he did not hear anything that Oull said either. Huge meteors passed by forcing him to take evasive action. He hit the breaks avoiding one narrowly. Fokkusu then had to speed up to avoid one hitting him straight on. "This is crazy." He said to himself.
