Chance's ears fell back, enjoying every moment of this. It was a little of what he had been hoping for with Dante, but so much awkwardness usually prevailed. But the wolf was definitely enjoying it too. Everything about his position and breathing communicated happiness. The unicorn was content to stay like this for a long time. He smiled when Dante kissed his head, ears flicking a little, tail swishing lightly.
"Next time," he murmured, "we should forget going out and just do something like this..."
Kaspar grinned and turned back to Anatu for a moment before finishing the last of the places. "It's no problem." More like it was a nice distraction. The company was more than welcome too.

"Mm ~" The wolf smiled, "Count me in." It was only mildly odd since Dante had never really been much of a... snuggler or whatever you would call this. It never even really occured or crossed his mind that this would be something enjoyable. But most things are enjoyable (even the dull things) when youre with someone you liked, right? Wasnt that how it worked?
Quietly he continued to knead the others back, travelling from the others neck and shoulder down to mid-back then to his lower back. It was and oddly comfortable position. WHo knew having someone sit on you was so nice?
Anatu put the last couple things down and looked over the table... What could be done now? Looking back up he smiled, "Would you like another drink? Or a snack?" He knew the other had already eaten (duh) but maybe he'd want a snack... it was sort of a distraction...

What was so different about this time that made it so easy? Though he was inclined to wonder, Chance was not particularly inclined to reason it out. This was just one of those things that cannot be explained by logic or what "makes sense." It just was. And besides, trying to think about it would ruin all of this. Just speaking had put the moment in jeopardy, but Dante's reply had been just about perfect.
His back arched a little into the wolf's kneading fingers. It felt so nice. Crooning softly he lifted his head and nibbled lightly at Dante's jaw, running his fingers through the wolf's hair again.
(( Yay, if they do enough of this bonding stuff they might actually get past all that 'what do you want?' awkwardness... ;>> ))
What now? That was indeed a good question. Kaspar was beginning to worry again that their stay would interfere with dinner. It was... awkward. His glass was already in the sink and he was still full from dinner. "Maybe later..."
He glanced outside the kitchen realizing he had seen precious little of this building. He had little idea of what kind of sitting rooms - living room, den, whatever, that he could sit out of the way. "Is there someplace I can sit... a living room or something?"

The wolf grinned lightly murring to the others reaction to the kneading. Yep, that was the way to go, no thinking and it was exactly what he was doing. He wasnt holding back anything either he was just doing what he felt like. He wasnt hiding any emotions or any thoughts ('cause there were no thoughts) and he held Chance.
Tail flicking a little he couldnt help but smile at the nibbles on his jaw before he moved to give Chance a kiss. It wasnt demanding, it was osft, slow... relaxed. Just the way Dante felt at that exact moment...
The tiger was finding it unsually hard to make this all less awkward and uncomfortable... Normally it just came to him, but he understood the problem. He couldnt really just stop making dinner, in case someone came home to eat, but he didnt want to shoo Kas out either. There was no need shoo either... Tail flicking lightly he put up a finger to keep Kas where he was, "Just a minute. Ill come join you ~"
Of course spaghetti coule be eaten when ever. Checking the sauce he stirred, tasted, then set it at a low simmer, just to keep it warm, before going to drain the noodles. Putting the noodles back in the put, he set them on a cool burner so they wouldnt cook anymore. Wiping his hands on a towel he went back to Kas and smiled, "Spaghetti's nice because you can make it when you feel."
Ear flicking he took a step out of the kitchen to lead the angel to the closest couch which was in a den sort of thin to the side out of the main traffic ways of the house. It was Chance and Dante's favorite couch little did Anatu know.

Conscious thought was quickly draining from Chance's mind as well. Or rather, curiosity and speculation had been replaced by thoughts like, 'this is great...' The unicorn returned the wolf's kiss more than willingly, fingers sliding through his hair to rub his ears lightly.
"Oh... all right," the angel half-mumbled. It was not as if he could stop Anatu from doing what he wanted and he was not inclined to try. He did not believe in trying to influence others' decisions, which was the reason for his feeble protests. That and he was just so awkward in social situations... Watching the tiger finish cooking the spaghetti, what he said next made Kaspar smile. It was true, spaghetti once cooked can be fixed at any time. "It's better fresh though," he argued feebly as Anatu lead him to a couch in the other room.
"You don't have to stay you know," he said after sitting down. Maybe he'd just go out to the car and take a nap. Chance could do whatever he wanted and Kaspar would no longer be in the way.

Dante shuddered and leaned toward the ear rub though slid his fingers into the others hair, and his hand sliding behind to cup the back of the others head to deepen the kiss. It was still slow, and relaxed, just more passionate as he slid his tongue over the others lips, his lower hand still kneading along the uni's lower back.
The wolf currently had no thoughts, he was running on instinct now.
(( Sounds like Dante for you ~ e3e; No thoughts X3 EVER. XD))
Anatu purred lightly and grinned, "It's okay, really." Moving he sat sort of diagonal of Kas in one of the couch like chairs just so he'd be able to communicate more comfortably with the angel. Ears perking he crossed his legs under him. "Not stay? You're my guest ~ besides, no ones home yet. Eating dinner alone is no good..." He nodded with a final air about it, "No worries, really." And, he wasnt like... starving or anything.

Chance relaxed against Dante, into the kiss, fingers rubbing the wolf's ears out of habit after a time. He shifted his weight, which caused the swing to rock. The motion popped the unicorn's eyes back open to glance around. Pulling away from the other's lips he said, "Dante. We can't do this..."
Kaspar leaned against the arm of the couch to watch Anatu as the tiger sat down. "Well... if you weren't going to eat right away already..." he said dubiously, then added. "I could just go sin the car. It's not a problem..." The problem was Chance, sort of. He did not want to interrupt... what they were doing... but he did at the same time. Safer still would have been to wait in the car, though if he did he might be tempted to drive off...

The rocking also brought back to Dante's mind their current position, which came as a mild shock as it seemed to flood back in to his mind. They were on the front porch on a swing... wait... Where were Anatu and Kaspar? Wouldnt they have figured out something by then? Tail flicking lightly he pulled back too...
"No we cant..." More of they shouldn't just because they were fully capable of continuing but... there was the side factors making it seem off. His ears went back slightly as he looked around then looked back at Chance, "We... should probably go see what's taking Kaspar and Anatu so long..." Though, he reeeeally wasnt a fan of having to give up what they had been doing...
Anatu's ears went back as he looked at Kaspar quietly, then he leaned back in his chair... Why was it so hard to convince the angel it wasnt a problem? Finally he caved in with a sigh and said, "Well, I wont make you stay... If you really want to wait in the car you can (though that wouldnt be nearly as entertaining as sitting and chatting) ... Either way, I have nothing else to do till Dante comes back in, so whether you stay or not, Ill still be here..."
He hoped it didnt come out rude; he'd said it with a small smile. As he glanced at Kaspar his tail flicked. Maybe Chance and Dante were done...? He felt bad since the angel seemed to be so... awkward with just the whole situation and he couldnt think of anything that would make him feel better.

But yes, poor Kas. He feels horrible now. xD; ))
Kaspar frowned lightly as he looked before him at nothing in particular. This was just so very frustrating, and he could not think of anything to say. To explain himself, to say anything, would have probably come out wrong and sound silly no matter how he said it. Chatting would probably be fun and entertaining... if he was any good at it.
Running fingers through his hair, he finally sighed silently and attempted a smile for the tiger. "Well... all right..." If he was going to stay, he might as well spend more time with Anatu. That was what he wanted anyway.
Chance smiled and took either side of Dante's face in hand, giving the wolf a lingering kiss. "We should continue this later." Of course, 'later' could mean 'later tonight,' or 'later this week,' but the most important implication was that there would be a continuation of this. He rose to his feet and stepped toward the door, but waited for Dante to follow.

Dante's ears perked and looked at the others eyes as his face was held in place, then went back slightly at the kiss, mildly disappointed when it ended. Giving a small smile he ran his fingers through the others hair when the uni suggested they continue another time, "We should." Unraveling his arms from around Chance he let the other get up with out disturbance, keeping the swing semi-still as he did.
Rising himself after a moment, he followed after Chance, not quite sure he should wrap an arm around him, but instead leaned and gave the others temple a kiss before leading them inside to find the other two.
((-tempted to make Dante's kiss go "Chu <3" xP;; ))
Tail flicking the tiger watched Kas quietly, not saying anymore before his ears perked when the other spoke. Giving a small purr and smile the tiger straightened in his seat a little, though didn't get a chance to speak before he spotted Dante. "Dante!" His ears perked as he looked to the wolf and spotted Chance coming with him, "Chance!"
He was just mildly surprised to see them figuring that they'd be out there till they interrupted them.

Chance smiled as the other kissed his temple and was still smiling a little when they stepped inside and heard their names called. Following Anatu's voice, the unicorn entered the room where he and Kaspar were seated. Seeing which couch the angel was sitting on, Chance glanced back at Dante but his expression remained impassive. Turning back to Kaspar, he asked, "Ready to go?"
The angel was already on his feet when questioned. He paused for a moment, taking in the scene. The wolf was standing too close to Chance. But he would wait to get angry until later. He was just so frustrated; Chance... things... had not really changed, had they? "I'll call you later, Anatu." He started to leave then turned back to Anatu. He did not deserve to bear any of this negativity Kaspar was feeling. "I hope you enjoy your dinner. It smells really good." He turned to leave then and smiled, and though he tried there was no joy behind it. As he passed he almost glared at Chance - and Dante he could not really be angry with, could he? - but kept his eyes on the door as he stepped through it.
s**t. Well it was obvious Kas had seen something. Nothing had happened but that did not really matter, did it? He watched Kaspar leave then turned to Anatu with a mildly sheepish smile. "Take care." To Dante he said, "I'll talk to you later," then followed after the angel.

Anatu stood instinctively when Kas did, giving a smile to Chance. He was slightly thrown off by the sudden abruptness of the angel. Tail flicking he watched mildly confused, but when he was spoken too he snapped to. "Oh, yeah. Okay ~" Then at the comment about dinner he looked to Kas, then at Dante then Chance, curious at what he didnt pick up on...
"Um... Thank you. Have a good...night?" He had barely finished when he watch the angel walk out, though the last word barely escaped his mouth. Yeah... He was a little confused, though he said nothing. He knew this wasnt the time for any sort of questions to be tossed around. When Chance addressed him he gave a small wave not finding any words.
Dante looked at Anatu and the Kaspar as he stood. He too had quite the impassive look on his face. His tail swished lightly watching the interactions... Odd... Kaspar's entire mood and the air about him was totally different from when they had first met and gotten to the house.
Looking the angel over a little as he passed he then looked at Chance quizzically, though it wasnt like Chance would be able to read the questions passing through his mind, though his confusion was showing a bit through is eyes.
"Good night." It was all Dante really had time to say before the unicorn left, though he did have to keep himself for reaching to stop him for just a minute. When he heard the front door shut he looked at the tiger who was staring at the doorway... "Do...you know what just happened?"
Anatu just gave a small shrug, still looking at the doorway...

(( Sorry for taking so long with this. It took me a while to figure out how I wanted it to go... In the end I just had to sit down and write it. xD; ))
Chance followed Kaspar to the car. "So you got everything worked out?"
"Yes." The angel did not look at him, nor did he bother to explain that they had resorted to phones to iron out the finer details. It was starting to sound more like a party, a potluck or something, than a date. Somehow the informality weighed more lightly on his mind than a traditional date.
"Well good..."
Kaspar took the lull in the unicorn's reply to interrupt with a hard edge to his voice, "I suppose you two finished whatever it was you were doing?"
"Look, I was just trying to give you two some space," Chance growled softly.
"Right. Of course." Kaspar fumbled for the keys in annoyance.
"Yes, of course." The angel's anger was starting to worry the unicorn about the safety of his car.
"I saw you two..."
Chance's eyes widened in surprise and he set his jaw at the other's accusation. "You saw nothing. Nothing happened!"
Kaspar stopped everything and jabbed his finger at Chance. "I have one word for you," he spat. "Mom."
The unicorn stared unblinkingly at the angel before lunging at him. "Give me the keys. You are not driving."
Flaring his wings angrily, Kaspar tossed them at the unicorn's feet and moved to the other side of the car. He was so livid even his hands were flushed as he waited with crossed arms for the doors to unlock.
Muttering to himself, Chance glanced back at the house before crouching down to swipe up the keys. He could not tell if anyone had seen or heard anything. When they were both inside, he was adjusting the seat and mirrors when he glanced sideways at the sulking angel beside him. "Next time wait until we're inside the car before saying something like that."
"Oh, I'm sorry, I might have spoiled something for you out there. ******** you, Dad."
Chance's grip tightened on the wheel, ears flattening backward in annoyance. Good job, Kaspar. You finally meet someone for the first time in your young life; likewise you are about to be grounded for the first time in your life! Maybe you're not a lost cause after all. Chance's lips quirked into a small, ironic smirk as he started the car and put it into Reverse.
"Oh that's right. You don't need it. That other guy--"
Chance held up one silencing finger. "I suggest you use that amazing intellect of yours to shut your ******** mouth."
Kaspar snorted derisively but fell silent, but for a rustling of wings and fabric as he slumped angrily in the seat.
"I appreciate your desire for a little fairytale family."
"God..."
"It was never going to be like that, Kas. Never. Be glad you have such a great family."
The angel snorted again, sullenly.
"Under a single roof you have people you love and even a couple you can't stand," he smirked, "you even have a brother you grew up with. It's never going to be that husband, wife, 2.5 kids, picket fence and a dog. Just be glad. s**t, I can't believe I have to tell you this, of all people..."
That wasn't it. Well, maybe it was... He just hated what Chance was doing. "I can't believe you're doing this to Dante," he blurted out. "You two looked so comfy out there like it actually meant something, but you know what's going to happen!" He glared at the unicorn accusingly.
A light changed and the car rolled to a smooth stop. They sat in silence and the unicorn did not make eye contact. It was not because he couldn't, it was because he was trying to figure out what was really going on. "I don't know... I usually don't stick around like this..."
"I know," the angel glared. "I was beginning to think you'd changed. But you haven't, have you?"
"That's the thing. This one's different." He looked up from his hands perching on the steering wheel to Kaspar. "I don't know what's going to happen."
"I do..." Kas muttered.
"No, you don't," Chance snapped, stepping on the gas as the light went green again. "Do you know what's going to happen with you and Anatu? It's the same thing."
The angel sorely doubted it, but he did not reply. Even if it was true... why did it have to be that guy? Some random guy he picked up off the street (little did he know it was the other way around)? Why couldn't it be Mom?
"Oh by the way, Kas..." Chance spoke in honeyed tones as he glanced the angel's way.
"What?" Warily, Kaspar glared back at Chance.
"You're grounded. I hope you've got his number."
"What? NO!"

The tiger's tail flicked finally as he snapped too. "Um... well, dinner's ready. You hungry?" He looked towards Dante with a small purr.
Dante hadn't even really thought about, but was greatful for the distraction from what just went on. Giving a nod, he shifted, "Yeah, let's eat. Did you already set the table?"
"Yep.. Kaspar helped..." He moved to lead the way into the kitchen but then a thought hit him. Hadnt Chance and Dante taken stuff out to the porch? Stopping in his tracks he looked around what he could see of the kitchen then looked up and down Dante...
Startled by the sudden stop, the wolf had to teeter back so as not to run into the feline. When he was inspected he eyes the other... "Yeeees...?"
"Didnt... you take stuff outside?" His eyes narrowed...
Dante's ears perked as he suddenly remembered the bottle and the glasses... The look he was getting from Anatu was telling him he should go get it before he counted to three. "Heh ~ I... will go get those." Which he promptly did turning to go to thr front door.
Anatu purred pleasantly and followed, watching. He blinked when Dante stopped and looked out the window. Tail flicking in curiousity he moved over to look over the wolf's shoulder.
Dante had watched Kas point his finger at Chance then say something, thinking, but not entirely sure, that the angel had said 'Mom'... Mom what? He didnt notice when Anatu came up behind him as he watched on, mind turning to make connections, thoooough... He kind of just shrugged it off. He couldnt be sure that had been said so he watched and smirked when Chance lunged at Kas.
Watching on silently, the tigers ears perked when he too heard the word, pretty sure he wasnt mistaken. Mom... Well of course Kas had to have a mom... And Chance was Kas's dad... Wait... Oh dear. He looked at Dante curious if the other had made some connections.
It appeared not as he continued to watch. When the two were finally gone he nudged Dante. "Go get that bottle."
Dante's ears perked and rolled his eyes as he went without a word.
Anatu watched... This... would get interesting.
