Flame chuckled and nuzzled her back happily. "Well I don't see you that way." He leaned back and looked into her eyes, wishing at that moment that he could read her mind, to know how she felt about him. The signs were good that she liked him back, but he still asked her. "How do you see me?"

Koorie was actually secretly enjoying the closeness she held with Flame, so when he pulled from her, her heart sunk a bit. Upon hearing his question, she retorted back without even needing to think. "With my eyes."

Flame snorted. "You definitely are stubborn, I'll give you that." It was enough trying to keep his cool and admit his feelings to Koorie, but not getting any kind of answer back from her was very frustrating. But he would get it out of her eventually. He stood up, stretching out his powerful form, and looked out into the distance for a moment, thinking. After stretching he lowered himself back down to the ground and then looked back at her, his dark eyes resting on hers.
"Tell me. Tell me what you're really thinking."

Koorie let a sly smirk slowly appear on her face, her red eyes looking back into his. "I am thinking...." She sighed and looked away, feeling a bit ashamed. "I'm thinking that, despite everything... I'm lucky to have met you, and I pray that out differences will not get in our way...." She shifted, not used to talking about her self and her thoughts to anyone.

Flame smiled and nuzzled her again. "I'm lucky to have met you too. And I wouldn't worry." He took a paw and pulled her face towards his. "You don't have to be afraid. Everything will be ok," he promised. He then pulled her face slowly towards his until their lips met in a kiss.
