R.J. appreciated the music. It was good, but not exactly something he could dance to. he found his foot tapping out the beat though. "Do you like it?" he asked Kiki.

Kiki listened as Alex played his piece. It wasn't bad at all, and it was her first time hearing this particular piece; she found her foot tapping to the rhythm as well.
Surprised that RJ was asking her this, she thought for a moment to get the words out right. "It was very nice; I've never heard this piece before, but it definiately fits the term lively." she answered sweetly.

Alex nods his head, "Thank you. I suppose that particular song isn't very well studied here. Anime tunes aren't exactly on the beathen path are they?"

"No, not exactly. It was quite interesting though. And since you've both been so kind as to display your talents to me, I feel I should probably repay the favor. Kiki, would you be so kind as to play me a classical piece? I want to demonstrate a little ballet." He was glad he was still in his practice clothes. He rolled his shoulders a little to loosen his muscles.

"Hmm, ok." Alex had never been much a fan of ballet, but then again how much had he really seen?

Kiki nodded in agreement; she had been looking foward to seeing RJ dance, actually. She hadn't seen a lot of actual ballet dancing in person, just on some TV special or something. Perhaps that was what he wanted to say before Alex came in, who knows.
She hopped back to the piano, deciding what piece she knew by heart so she could watch him move about, yet would go with something he could dance ballet to. After thinking for a moment, she put her fingers in position on the keyboard and began a familiar Minuet.
((Eh, just take your pick on which one and by who; I dunno what goes with ballet ones. xd ))

((I don't know anything about dance either.))
R.J. nodded once. He recognized the piece. It was one of the first he'd danced to, in fact. He began with a few graceful steps. he didn't do On Pointe dancing, that is, he didn't dance on his tip-toes. That was mostly for girls. It was a short routine. He didn't want to bore anyone, and he gave a small bow at the end. "I know it's not as interesting as your talents, but I enjoy it."

Alex claps, "Well done, I'm not usually one for guys in tight suits dancing but that was all right." He chuckles, obviously kidding around. He looks over at Kiki, "Was he talking to me or you miss ummm... come to think of it I never got either of your names did I?"

Kiki had watched RJ do his short dance routine while she played the accompining piece; he was quite good. He was in perfect rhythm and everything, and was very much into the music, much like she had been herself earlier. That had settled a bugging question in her mind; he could take on The Star Dancers anytime. And probably win with even this short routine. And take home the 500 grand that usually came with the competiton.
"Uh, Kiki." she said quickly and gestured to herself when hearing Alex's confusion. "And that's RJ." she gestured to the boy, before getting up and applauding as RJ just finished and bowed.
"That was wonderful!" she exclaimed. "That must have taken alot of hard work to perfect it that nicely."
Upon hearing the degrading of his talent, Kiki shook her head. "No no, it's just as important as music and instruments! I've been told that each talent is it's own art, and somehow they all connect with each other, and each have their own unique properties that make such talents shine. Dancing requires grace, accuracy, flexibility, and complete sync with the rhythm. Not alot of talents have to master all those difficulties. Of course, enjoying it is the most important thing, which I'm glad you have as well." she reasoned with a smile. Hey, her mom is a music teacher; she knew what she was doing and taught most if it to Kiki.

"Indeed, I have heard much worse." He smiled. "I'm glad you think so highly of my talent, Kiki. I've been studying dance since I was five. Ballet isn't my favorite, but it's what I've done the longest, and what I'm best at."

"O-oh, it was a joke."
Kiki now felt like an idiot. Great, now she couldn't even pick up on sarcasim. Trying to hide the embarass-blush that was threatening to cover her face, she laughed nervously for a second as to try and ease tension, but to no avail.
Then RJ spoke, backing her up, surprisingly. Not feeling as embarassed, she suddenly felt herself still fighting off a blush for some strange reason. She spoke quickly to move the subject along. They were NOT going to find out that she was actually homeschooled for most to all of her school career.
"Heh, I've had my share of credits as well. Haven't we all? So Alex, how long have you been playing violin?"
