Kurai_kotori Insanity, the perfect mental adjustment for an insane world. ~R.D. Lang We all go crazy at some point in our lives. it's just not to the degree which most people think of or fear.We have a society that teaches people to thrive on other peoples attention and fear being alone. That is why so many disdain those who can be alone. Hermits have made the choice to isolate themselves from the rest of society, each for their own reasons. Now, it is said that to survive, we NEED contact with other humans. Why? Because they will talk and fill our head with bs? No. They mean for the survival of our race, our species. That seems to be the only reason we would ever need contact with others. (not that I mind the contact with others, Kye rocks my socks!) Sorry haven't had time to continue the topic lately... anyway! Ok, I can agree to pretty much all of this but the counter effect to this would be that we would not progress in society. As you can see hermits live in the wilderness in harsh conditions or other possibilities of this may be... (not going into detail), but seeing others around us and working together we progress as a whole and as a hermit or a loner we can only see but not make a difference, don't get me wrong being the loner actually helps us to see through our flaws so a little bit of both always helps but in the long run this is the reason why we need each other... to move forward.

Alright, heres the response to your "Morality" prompt you left on my page.
Morality, Morality, hmmm. Well, I suppose that morality would be a basic set of rules or some such thing with which to live by! (or not live by) Howeverm each persons morality is relative to what is important and right to them. It may be against my morals to let you live, but that would seem immoral to you because you may like life! It's all relative!

It may be against my morals to let you live, but that would seem immoral to you because you may like life! It's all relative! I like that answer and I'm sorry I haven't been giving in depth responses lately cause I've had my fill of work at college... ANYWAY I did a question and answer basis for a non-religious affiliated protester protesting against pre-marital sex and masturbation and sin and all that junk. In other words they were getting out of hand so I decided to go in depth and find out more about them... I went into the bees nest and came out with honey. I'll post my results here, it gets intresting trust me. smile Who or what do you believe in? Jesus and on a later note God Why do you believe this? Because God gave us a purpose and with the ten commandments we must fear God and repent. What Religion do you believe in? None; (on a side note they also believe that all catholics are going to Hell.) Because they kept quoting references from the bible I asked them: Do you realize the Bible text is over 18 hundred years old, and they stated it was the writing of Jesus. I asked them isn't it a bit weird that God would be so cruel? Doesn't it seem that he also has a capacity for love otherwise we would not be here. She answered we cannot exist without God. I also asked (this is where you'll prolly start hatin wink ) Do you realize that the freedom of Religion also has a strong effect in this country? Her response: We need to realize that the only effect of Religion is that one is a mockery of God and the Bible. She began to drill me for sins i may have committed by then... razz I also asked: Along with freedom of Religion, there is also freedom of speech, don't you think you are infringing on that by verbally attacking people like this? her response: freedom of speech? we are speaking the truth! After she jus started her preacher rant and I copied what I could. razz Just because Jesus was on the cross we still need to repent. The reason she is "saved" is that Christ saved her by receiving his blood. All catholics are going to hell. (On a personal note, I decided I would use some of the quotes as of ignorance in human development for my Composition II major research project)

I hate bible thumpers. They are so damn sanctimonious. You know why people mourn that faith instead of living it? because it is drilled into their heads from birth that they are not worthy of god, that WE ARE original sin, and that nothing we ever do will ever be good enough! How's that for some ********' motivation? It's BS! Religion is a blite on the world! Because of religion, wars that never would have come about are waged without hesitation because every single ********' person fighting believes that God favors them over the others! Why? We're all here! If we're all his Creations, why would he love some more than others? Sin? If it was God that created us, he gave us the capacity for sin! In that case, HE is original Sin! It's all twisted BS! Like George Carlin says,"It's all bullshit, and it's bad for you!"

oh my ...
what have we here? a thought train carrying the promise of a heated debate involving RELIGION?
i need to get on here more... i too will look a bit into this.
Also: this was in my journal, it has to do with Hell...
"Hell explained by Chemistry Student
The following is an actual question given on a University of Washington chemistry mid-term.
The answer by one student was so "profound" that the professor shared it with colleagues, via the Internet, which is, of course, why we now have the pleasure of enjoying it as well.
Bonus Question: Is Hell exothermic (gives off heat) or endothermic (absorbs heat)? Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's Law (gas cools when it expands and heats when it is compressed) or some variant. One student, however, wrote the following:
First, we need to know how the mass of Hell is changing in time. So we need to know the rate at which souls are moving into Hell and the rate at which they are leaving. I think that we can safely assume that once a soul gets to Hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving. As for how many souls are entering Hell, let's look at the different religions that exist in the world today. Most of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to Hell. Since there is more than one of these religions and since people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all souls go to Hell. With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in Hell to increase exponentially.
Now, we look at the rate of change of the volume in Hell because Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in Hell to stay the same, the volume of Hell has to expand proportionately as souls are added.
This gives two possibilities: 1. If Hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter Hell, and then the temperature and pressure in Hell will increase until all Hell breaks loose.
2. If Hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in Hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop until Hell freezes over.
So which is it? If we accept the postulate given to me by Teresa during my Freshman year that, "It will be a cold day in Hell before I sleep with you," and take into account the fact that I slept with her last night, then number two must be true, and thus I am sure that Hell is exothermic and has already frozen over. The corollary of this theory is that since Hell has frozen over, it follows that it is not accepting any more souls and is therefore, extinct...leaving only Heaven, thereby proving the existence of a divine being which explains why, last night, Teresa kept shouting "Oh my God."
This student received the only "A". "
