 hey everyone... this is a prayer request... i could use the help :[
this is really embarrassing and maybe even foolish and trivial but it means a lot to me... basically i took a chance and got into a relationship with a guy who wasn't as great as i thought he was. he dumped me for someone new and i'm really hurt. i just feel as if there's this huge open wound in my chest that throbs every time i think about him and his new girlfriend... it hurts so much. please pray for me, that i may get over this heartache and move on.. that i'll be happy again... sad thanks.

If a guy dumps you for someone new never go back with him. He is an idiot for doing that. and he's just gongi to do it to her soon enough, so no worries.... surprised As for you just accept that its over will get you over it fast. That's what I did. Also I have kept my self busy with Christ.. Aways go to God. Lord I pray for he to bless her in her time of need as she is hurting and needs you. Just get rid of all thoughts of him and lt her move on. Keep encouraging her and pushing her.

Me_Plus_You_Equals_LOVE Prayer Request from Me_Plus_You_Equals_Love: My great grandpa is going through health issues right now. He has a infection throught his body, and I ask that those of you reading this would pray for his health. He is 86 and we do not know if he will make it through this because of his other health issues and because of the condition he is in. Thank-you very much.

Makaze~chan I'm at a weak point in my life. I want to become a better person, improve myself, and be stronger. I feel awkward in asking, but pray for me? There's no shame in weakness. Recognizing the weakness is the first step toward strength, and asking for help is the first sign of improvement. Never forget that in our weakness, God is strong. God uses our points of weakness to prove Himself to us. Everyone has weak points, and we can always turn to God for help. Obviously, I can't say exactly where your weakness is, but you've already shown courage. You've already shown strength. When I was in my greatest point of weakness, I prayed for a change so radical that I wouldn't even be the same person. As I knew it would, it crushed me. My whole life was broken down. Many of my old friends now hate me. Now I have a new life, I'm stronger, and I have joy. I don't recomend that you take this step. Maybe you already have--I have no way to know. But something tells me you're not ready for it. I could be wrong. But for now, I pray for strength in your life. I pray that you will be able to stand up to the challenges life has for you. Most of all, I pray that your weakness will in turn strengthen your faith, rather than injure it.

"Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven." I will pray for him. Anything is possible with the power of God. Take comfort in the fact that God can work out anything for good. Even when Joseph was betrayed by his brothers and sold as a slave, God made him second only to Pharoh in Egypt. Even death can be turned around for the better. I knew someone in my church who died before his teenage years. He knew he was going to die, and he kept his faith. He kept going strong in a way that caused all those around him to marvel at the glory of God. His story caused many to be saved. I will pray for his life, but more importantly, I pray for his impact. I pray that whatever story he has, life or death, will cause those around him to search for God. Stay strong in your faith, no matter what happens. No, I take that back, grow STRONGER in your faith! Anything that happens can be used for the glory of God if you allow it.

Never be ashamed to ask for help, especially prayer. Asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. The relationship thing happens to nearly everyone, and if it didn't mean a lot I'd be concerned. All the pain means is that you have a heart. I've personally had rough relationships too. It's not easy to get over it. I didn't get over something like this until I made this decision: I won't get into any relationship until God lets me know that I'm ready, which may be never. I'm not mature enough yet. I'm not mature enough to find someone good for me, and I'm not mature enough to stick with God in the midst of an intimate relationship. Few people are mature enough nowadays. Don't be ashamed if you aren't either. Always pray before getting into a relationship. I've dated twice, and each time, I knew that God didn't want it for me. Both times brought me lower. Follow God's plan, no matter what it may be, and things will turn out better. As for getting over it, that's not always the answer. By no means am I saying to dwell on the pain. I did that and went emo for a while. Not fun. crying You can never get over anything like this until you learn from it. Forget your past, and you'll make the same mistakes again. However, when you learn from your past, you can put it behind you and never go down that path again. Don't pray for forgetfulness, but pray for a lesson. I pray that you will always turn to God before making important decisions. I pray that God will guide you (which is sometimes painful, but always know that He loves you) through life in a way that you will grow stronger, and will want more of Him. I pray for healing, because this kind of wound is permanent without God's help. I pray for new life, and most of all, I pray for forgiveness. I pray that God will forgive your mistakes (which I know He has and will continue to do), I pray that you will forgive the guy, and I pray that you will forgive yourself, which I know is so often the hardest thing to do.

Hey everyone. Our church family was badly shaken this last Saturday to learn that one of our members was murdered in her home. She was raped, robbed, and stabbed to death. The murderer has been caught, but I would like to ask for prayers for her family and friends, so that they can find a way to celebrate her life, instead of pursuing the one who ended it. Knowing Bess, she would have shared the same love with anyone reading this that she already did to everyone she knew. Thank you, and God bless.

I have a prayer request myself. My mother and sister in law are sick and my sister recently pm'd me that she would like us to pray for her so please if you get the minute to do so please pray for my sister and mother in law to get well! I don't know what they have but if they're asking for prayers it must be something that's causing grief. Thank you and God Bless you all! heart

I have another Christian guild praying for him now, but I want more people to be praying for him. At school there's this guy I've known since kindergarten. He's a really nice guy, helps people out, and makes everyone smile. But lately his back's been hurting and went to the doctor. The results are that his back is as bad as a 35 year old's and is the worst that they've seen in a 15 year old. He hasn't been to school lately due to appointments for it and I'm getting a little worried. 2/16: They found three fractures in his back so far. 2/17: He isn't aloud to lift anything more than five pounds right now. 2/23: He'll probably have to do surgery. ): He's also been worrying that everyone will forget him and that no one really likes him. Please, pray for his healing and that he'll feel loved by the people around him because he really is a great guy. heart Thank you so much in advance heart

Certainly, he has our prayers, Alustrial. I'm curious as to why his back is so bad, though ("as bad as a 35-year-old's"? neutral ). Is this bad bones, or has he worn it out quickly somehow?
I've three health concerns of mine own ... well, not mine, but those around me ... and would appreciate prayers on these points.
1. Meadow overstrained her foot somehow (we're still not sure how), and though nothing's broken, she still has to wear an inflexible boot (much like a cast) ... for the next five weeks. It's not helping her mood. Even worse, since the thing is basically an open-toed boot, but it feels like regular footwear ... she keeps kicking things accidentally, thus injuring her foot further.
2. Meadow's aunt is ill again. Normally, a cold would be no problem, but this woman has one of the weakest immune systems I've ever encountered; for her, it's easy for a cold to become something worse. To judge from the way she sounds lately, it's done so.
3. Dad's leukemia. Did I mention poor immune systems? He's doing okay, for the most part, but there are days when the energy required to stand up is more than he can spare.
