And she hasn't even looked at me either...She's not interested in me, Seraphina and I could never look at her the same as I would you. Dimitri sighed. Maybe she was right? Maybe he needed to move on but that meant death....

Takako laughed. "Indeed it is. How many times does one get into trouble because of boredom?"
Dimitri frowned and looked at her, for once serious. "What am I suppose to do Seraphina? I can't love you because you won't let me...You insist on tormenting me with other males. I'm tired of waiting. I'd rather die knowing I had found my lifemate but she won't even look at me then remain alive and be tormented. My soul can't bear it any longer."
Takako's laughter died as she listened to Dimitri suddenly speak and she blinked. She whispered to Alex, "We should leave them alone...I think things are about to get ugly..."

"How fast can you hobble?" Alex whispered speeding up his pace.
"Dimitri, that is completely unfair!" Seraphina said stopping in her tracks. "What am I suppose to do? I'm a TEENAGER! A Teenager, Dimitri. I can't be what you want me to be. It's not fair of you to put me in this position..."

"I'm not fair? I've waited for countless years for you to be born Seraphina. I even agreed to wait until you reached Adulthood. I'm still waiting. I haven't forced myself on you. I never tried forcing you to be a carpathian. I'm killing myself in order for you to be happy..." He stared at her, a tear glistening before it was gone as though it wasn't there. "My soul is blackened with unfairity Seraphina. I've had to kill countless others because of their crimes. My only salvation from that was to be you and you can't look at it let alone think of it."
Takako smirked before she was following behind Alex, smoothly as though she walked on silk. Her ankle didn't hurt so much now.

"Oh gee, thanks for not 'forcing yourself on me'," Seraphina snarled. "You barged into my childhood, lurked in my teenage years, and you seem to think you're doing me some massive favor by waiting to do whatever it is you want to do until I'm an adult. All the while you're robbing me of my youth! Oh, and by the way, I also freak out when you're not around. Not a fan of that. Don't even know why I feel that way..."
"You are doing better," Alex remarked dropping the torch as they escaped the cave.

"You want me gone Seraphina...I get that now...but to keep everyone safer, I'd have to die lest my corrupted soul takes over and I convert. Vampires like Jean-claude are nothing....Your Sangula is corrupted, evil...it's how I would become. And you would be alone. Forever alone in your soul." He turned away from her. "You want a life without me? I get it..."
Takako beamed and was already racing away from the Cave. The tension there was soo thick she could probably set flames and burn it within seconds. Once away from the tension, Takako looked up to Alex. "What made you change your mind?"

"You idiot," Seraphina resisted the urge to smack him upside the head. "I didn't say I wanted you gone, but you are..." she struggled to find the right words. "Dimitri, I mean, you-me...I don't know what you want. I'm just a kid," she hung her head. "I don't know..."
"Change my mind?" Alex repeated, tilting his head in confusion.

Dimitri stood just outside the cave, stretched his wings before refolding them. He sighed. "I shouldn't be pressuring you into choosing so quickly. For that I've condemned myself for eternity. I'm suppose to make sure you're happiness is put above my own and I'm being selffish...I never wanted you to change yourself just to be with me."
She nodded. "Yea...change your mind. You use to always gawk at other girls, find me annoying and wouldn't even consider me, even when you were small."

"Are you always this over-dramatic?" Seraphina asked half-teasingly as she looked up. She didn't want him to be upset like this. She moved over and sat beside him. "I don't want you to go," she said quietly.
"I remember hanging around you a lot when we were small," Alex remarked. "I have the scorch marks to prove it."

"You know," Seraphina sighed still not meeting his gaze. "I half wish I could go back to being just a baby pony. Remember that? You were going to help me deal with Lilith, keep my goof of an older sister safe. Now look at her, four kids and with Dante all the time, and I still worry about her...." she paused in her rambling.
"Oh?" Alex tilted his head looking at her curiously. "Why did you care?"

Takako blushed. Here was the moment of truth and she shifted, looking away and finding the ground to be more interesting. "Well...ummm..." She nibbled her lower lip in agitation.
