He didn't answer right away, putting two fingers to her neck and counting her heartbeat. Then put a finger under her nose to check the regularity of her breathing. Finally he sighed and sat back, looking down at the hybrid. "Calm down...she just fainted. It could be caused by a number of things. Stress, fatigue or sickness can cause the decrease of blood circulation to the brain and induce a temporary blackout. She'll be fine in a few minutes."

Azure finally took his eyes off Dyas so that he could look up at Raken. Then it meant it wasn't his fault that she fell, Azure felt relieved. He had already hurt Dyas enough, he didn't need to hurt her anymore. Though he'd ask her what she wanted him to do the moment she woke up, or at least he'd give her a little time to recover. "Alright..." Azure took a deep breath and continued to hold Dyas, though he had stopped rocking her back and forth. Azure's sad gaze returned to Dyas, Raken wanted him to marry her, to give up both their youth. It was another one of his damned tests to see if Azure would do anything for Dyas. Azure was convinced he'd do anything for Dyas, but he was not willing to do anything for Raken.

Now he hadn't said all that. He left out a lot...like why she was stressed. How the thing had yelled 'stop' because of his and Azure's bickering. The stress levels of the thought of losing Azure combining with the confusion of the shadow thing no doubt was the cause. But he wasn't freaking out so badly now...and he wasn't about to change that again. He gently reached forwards to brush Dyas' hair from her soft face, repressing a sigh. He had to face it...there were two males here that loved her.

Azure took a deep breath, unable to stand the silence as they both looked down at Dyas, waiting for her, caring about her. He hoped she would wake up soon, he needed her to wake up soon. It was scary to be around Raken and, not that he was looking to Dyas for protection, she did help out a lot. Azure was now trying to make sence of the voice that they had all heard, trying to make sence of the shadow that Raken had discovered in the corner. What was all this, and how was it connected to Dyas? "Have you figured anything out about the..." Azure motioned his head towards the corner Raken had previously been in.

He liked the silence. Then again, he was used to it. The male played with a curl, knowing that they would have a few minutes yet until she woke up. Since she hadn't by the time he checked her breathing, he figured as much. His steel blue eyes flicked up to Azure. "I have a theory, yes." Well, a start of a theory. He pulled his hand back to hold out to his side. "You know the basic properties of my power correct? On will, I can pull the shadows to me, in a way, my clay." He formed a single ball of darkness within him, and the shadows pulled from all around the room to under his hand. Vaugely orb-like, it twisted in itself. "But somewhere during the transition of it being attatched to an object and coming to me, my power infuses with it and it gains the most simplistic workings of life. Like a soul, it shudders and resists my pull, searching for a body until I can create one for it. This, was what the mound we saw previously was. The clay before it was molded." He released the orb and the shadows scattered. "Only I didn't make it, and no one else on the island has a power quite like mine. My theory is that Dyas was trying-" The female shifted in Azure's arms, bringing her legs up closer to her body. Slowly she opened her eyes, blinking away the blurriness. Two male faces peered down at her. Raken and Azure? What? ...What happened?

Azure listened closely, but in no way understood what the adult male was talking about. "Oh ok." Azure responded, pretending to comprehend the theory, it wasn't worth asking Raken to further explain it. Azure doubted he'd get it even after further explanation. Azure felt Dyas shift and his gaze instantly shot down. "Dyas..." Azure smiled softly at her though there was still concern in his eyes.

If he had made it any simplier, his brain would have shut itself off. As it was, his explaination was cut off as his child shifted. He gently smiled, an odd action seen on him by anyone but him and Dyas. "You fainted...luckily Azure caught you so your head didn't hit the stone floor." Fainted? That was a first. She managed a smile back, raising a hand to gently caress Azure's cheek against the concern in his eyes as she did her best to ignore her fathers presence. Slowly she used her oher arm to move her into a sitting position, though still kept hersef propped up by resting against the angelics shoulder. Had she really worried them that much? Perhaps she should apologize...

Azure nodded his head, confirming what Raken had told Dyas. "But you're okay now right?" he asked her, his voice soft and comforting. He was eager to ask her what she wanted him to do so that he could get Raken off his case, but he wanted to give her time to feel better and everything instead of rushing her.

She nodded, her smile increasing slightly at his soft concern. Now she was. He exhaled softly in relief before standing, brushing his fingers against Dyas' shoulder in comfort. "You should be heading home then Azure. We're probably going to eat before going straight to bed. Its going to be a long day...to...morrow..." She watched her father as he stood, eyes on his. Her hand gently overlapped one of Azure's. He knew exactly what she wanted. This time, she was certain. "..." He looked at Azure, repressing a sigh. "Do you want...to have dinner with us?" Her smile widened to show a flash of teeth. That was her father.

Azure kept his gaze on Dyas, he wasn't ready to leave yet. He flipped his hand over so that he could hold Dyas' overlapping hand. Azure watched as Dyas smiled at her father's offer. "I'd love to stay for dinner." And he really would. One, because it would Raken unhappy; Two, because it would make Dyas happy and it'd give him plenty of time to ask Dyas what she wanted.

He managed to keep it to an inside winced as Azure spoke what he already knew. He spoiled his daughter too much. "We'll be having rabbit tonight. I'll be back in a half an hour with the catch." He grumbled under his breath before walking out. Like heck did he want to leave Dyas alone with him, but he didn't want to press her physical limitations after fainting and he suspected she wouldn't be too thrilled if he took Azure with him. Probably try to tag along. Right outside the door though, he left a gaurd hound, just to watch them as the bird by the river had before. This reminded her so of when they were little, and she had to coin her father into inviting Azure to stay a bit longer. She barely remembered that day, but she did know that had been one of her happiest. It after all, was the day she made her first friend. Her eyes widened though as it further went into that day long past. Only while Raken before had went to read, this time he was going out of the cave. Was he...feeling alright today? She watched him walk out, just catching the edges of their shadows slip towards him. That made more sense.

Azure nodded his head and watched as Raken walked away from Dyas' room, Azure was smiling at Raken's back the whole time. He waited a little bit after Raken was out of sight before he looked back down at Dyas, still leaning against his shoulder. Azure's smile remained as he wrapped his arms around her gently and leaned his head on her shoulder. It was good to be back, it was good to have Dyas back. "A lot of stuff has happened tonight, huh?" Azure whispered to Dyas, he was leading up to the larger question of what they were supposed to do now.

Comfortable. That was the only way to discribe it. It felt...nice...to be with Azure again. The female softly blushed as his arms came around her, but gently rested her head against his. Really nice. She nodded, closing her eyes. Just Azure coming back was enough to have the day seem unreal. But with everything else, with her father and the shadow walky talky...She was going to sleep peacefully tonight.

"Dyas... I want to ask you something..." Azure said, his voice now becoming more serious as he switched to the more serious topic of the night. He wasn't quite sure how he could ask this question in a way that Dyas could easily answer. In fact he didn't know at all, he'd have to hope that Dyas could find a creative way to answer it. "What do you think... I... we... should do... with what your dad talked about tonight..."

The very first sentence flicked her eyes open, easily catching the serious tone with her sensitivity to sound. She lifted her head to turn it and look at him. Watching his lips as he spoke the words. Marriage. She knew what she thought about it...however, the challange was conveying it to Azure. Thank the gaurdians she had close to a years experience in this. Slowly she pulled away from him completely, to sit infront of the male with her legs out to the side, body propped up by one extended arm. The other lightly touched her chest as she kept her eyes to his. What did she think? The female shook her head slowly. But. She paused and extended that arm from her chest to his as she leaned forwards and ever so lightly, kissed his lips. A small, chaste one, as she soon pulled back with her faint blush. No, she didn't want to get married. Not yet. The hand on his chest dropped to his knee. However, she loved him. Then back up the hand went, only to rest on her throat as her head turned to look in the direction her father had gone. She extended her arm to point in it as well, before looking back at Azure. She would talk to Raken about it.
