"Pretty decent explosions." Mignon looked up at him and gave a little smile. She covered up a little yawn of her own, giggling. "S'getting late."

"Late? Nah, it's only...five AM," he admitted somewhat reluctantly after glancing to his watch. Chuckling, he shook his head and returned his attention to Mignon, returning his arm to its position around her shoulders. "Are you staying the night, or am I walking you home?"

"Only five? I must be getting old." Mignon laughed, leaning up to give him a peck on the cheek. "And if the good gentleman will allow me to stay at his residence, I would much rather not go out into the night. S'cold, and there are winos."

"You're always welcome to stay, my lady. However, if I don't have to walk about in the cold for the next hour, I will be going to bed." Freeing his arm, he stretched briefly once more. Afterwards he turned back towards her an offered a hand, quirking a brow. "Care to join me?"

Smiling, Mignon reached up and took the hand. "Of course." She said, slowly standing.

"Sleep well, Dominic." Lyrus paused just long enough to click off the TV before leading Mignon from the room and to his own. He nudged the door closed behind them with his foot and captured the onion Sin in a kiss, keeping hold of her hand while looping his free arm around her waist and steering her towards the bed.

The next morning found Mignon curled up against Lyrus, hair loose and hiding most of her face. Awww, sleepy Miggy was sleepy!

The next morning was closer to the next afternoon by the time Lyrus stirred. Lifting his head, he peeked blearily down at Mignon, then yawned and edged away from her, trying not to disturb her too much. Sitting up, he glanced to the clock on the nightstand and frowned. He was supposed to open the shop hours ago. ...Oh well. He could use a day off.
After another glance towards Mignon, he slipped off the bed and retrieved his clothes, pulling on some shorts before abandoning the room in favor of the kitchen. He would cook something for lunch and then, if Mignon still wasn't awake, get a shower. After that he could pester her.

The first step to waking her up was the removal of her Lyrus-Pillow. Not too terrible long after, Mignon stirred, sitting up and stretching. Yech. Slipping off the bed, she snitched the top blanket and wrapped it around her lightly, heading towards the small noises she heard.
Aha. "Hey, Lyr. You mind if I steal your shower for a bit?"

At the sound of Mignon's voice, Lyrus glanced up from where he was digging through the fridge, flashing her a smile in good-morning and waving her away. "Yeah, go ahead. I was going to cook lunch. Any requests?"

"Mmm... Not really. Oddly enough, I'm not that picky of an eater." She giggled. Which was surprising, knowing how picky she was otherwise. "I won't take too long, promise." She added before heading towards the bathroom.

He laughed. "Good thing. I don't have much left. Need to go shopping..." he mumbled to himself as he turned back to the fridge, frowning before pulling a few things out. Maybe if he was creative, he could manage a good stir fry....

Knockity knock, knock. Jan stood outside the back door, a fresh bunch of flowers in her hand and a grin on her face. Her shirt even had a smiley face on it. The blonde needed a favor from Lyrus. And to bribe him to come on the camping trip.
Lyrus was totally woo-able.

No response from the bathroom, where Mignon was hurrying through a shower. Wasn't that nice? She would take over an hour, given the chance.

Lyrus had managed to pull together a fairly impressive stir fry by the time the knocks sounded on the door. Habit told him to be wary--he almost never had unannounced visitors--, but he reasoned that it may just be a regular wondering why the shop wasn't open and abandoned the stove to answer the door. After hesitating briefly at the doorknob, he turned it and opened the door--and was pleasantly surprised to find Jan waiting just outside.
"You're cheery today," he greeted, taking note the shirt and flowers. He quirked a brow, slightly suspicious for the display, but grinned and gestured her inside nonetheless. "Good seeing you again. Was just thinking about you yesterday."
