Kira rolled up the scroll in her hand and placed it back into the pack on her back. Her hand rose up and ran through her blonde locks as she said, "Interesting theory, but no. Not even close Mikazuki-sama. I'll give you a hint, your shinobi rank had nothing to do with this, this is more of a common sense question."

Yura lovingly patted her spider on the head again before resting her head against its somewhat furry back, "I wonder, if he does not make it in time if Izanami will be terribly upset if I eat his wonderful looking body." She stares hungrily at his body.

Kira hears your answer and looks a little more disappointed, "Well that guess was much closer than your last, but let's think for a second if I didn't want them to eat you why would I make you suffer a heart attack and not them? If you take too much time and answer wrong again we will defenately not have enough time to bring you back." She gives a little stretch then regards your second question.

"You're right it doesn't have anything to do with your test at hand. If I concentrate on the symbols above someone's head with my Bloodline Limit I can decipher the exact day and time of your death. But don't misunderstand me, that time if only the time of your natural death. Life is full of misfortunes and someone who was meant to live to be 80 can die at 20 by slipping and breaking their neck in the shower.

There's also another side to my Bloodline Limit if I cut your life sho...." She stops in mid-sentence, "No point in telling ALL our clan's secrets is there. We should go back to focusing on whether you get to live or die."

"So it has nothing to do with your rank or removing the Squad's existence to the shinobi world, and though it was close, you were also wrong on assuming that we didn't want Yura's pets to eat you."

"How troublesome...." he muttered, placing his hands behind his head whilst processing her teammates newer remarks.

"Rank has nothing to do with it, and becoming spider chow was semi-close...This wouldn't happen to have anything to do with that scroll you keep writing in, does it? I noticed that you wrote in it earlier and our teammate that arrived late suffered from indigestion. And after your unexpected intervention you showed us the same scroll with our names and the afflicted stroke."

"Damn, but that still doesn't explain your first question, why you did such at that specific time..." Kage shook his head becoming frustrated to all hell. "You didn't want me to attempt to save Shade, did you?"

Not knowing whether or not this question would save him or truly kill him, he had nothing left but to hope that it was indeed the answer for time was truly of the essence now.

"....s**t." Left with no other way to express himself, he fell to his knees his face flushed in bother frustration and embarrassment. Of all the things, why hadn't he even considered that? There was truly no excuse for his lack of common sense.

"In all my years...I've never felt so....stupid." Looking at Kira and Yura one last time before lying his head upon his arms, feeling all hope escape him.

((Why the hell didn't I think of such a simple answer?! stressed scream gonk burning_eyes ))

Kage had twitched, upon hearing that there was a second question. That and he felt even crappier after remembering the spider he almost completely dismembered.

"The pet I left dangling with only one leg remaining right?" He paused, knowing that mentioning it would either piss off Yura, or one of her many pets. "The only possible thing I could offer, that is if I somehow survive this ordeal, would be to serve Yura until my debt is repaid. Unless revival is impossible, then all I've left to offer is my lifeless body. If consuming my body would please her, I'd obviously have no choice in the matter. To think all this could've been avoided, had I not drawn my sword." he practically muttered the last sentence to himself, his dark irises peering curiously at his blade lying sheathed within the ground several feet away from him.

"....!" His body ached after having filled his lungs with air, but it felt damn good to be alive again. Though millions of thoughts still thrashed around in his head, the notion that Yura so easily made Kira shudder left an awkward smile upon his face.

"Well, I might as well say it, even though the deal has been made official...Yura, I am sorry for injuring your pets and damaging your many elegant webs." he gave her a look that showed that he wasn't lying out of his a**, though her webs did taint his mind with odd images of web-bondage. The thought of Yura wrapping him in her webbing easily made him shiver.

Damn it, that thought is going to be stuck in my mind until I've finished serving Yura...

With everything said and done Kage looked away with an awkward red blush painting his cheeks.

As his two superiors ready to walk away, Kage rises up, not unlike a zombie and twists about cracking several limbs in a sort of sickening satisfaction. He the turned his attention to his empty sheath, plucking his blade out of the earth before finally slipping it back into its sanctuary. His ebony eyes peered towards and he flashed her an eager smile, "I'll be looking forward to our next encounter Yura."

Bowing respectfully he then turned towards his Kira, who was already on her way back to the Amberweb Pass.

"The princesses office first thing in the morning. Roger that..."

~The Next Morning, Princess Izanami's Office~

It was always something about the eyes.....Kira's eyes....Yura's eyes...and the AkuKage's....something in all of them all seemed to reflect perfectly what the Hidden Shadow village stood for...

Though despite having a pair of twins within the last year Princess Izanami's figure was as flattering as ever as she sat in her chair. She was currently looking over the mission scroll that Kira had handed over and had an amused look on her face, "Well....that certainly seemed rather adventerous... Kage, remind me to tell you of when I was a Genin and we decided to do a training excerise in Elder Murakai's tower."

Kira, standing next to you, let out a small sigh of relief...no one was getting mauled by the AkuKage today.

"Though you should take care to honor your agreement with Yura, the word of our Clan carries much weight and responsibility. Now then for your first assignment."

A large shadow appeared on the floor just in front of you and turned into a detailed, though shadowy construct, of a small village. "There was rumor of an Akatsuki informant in the Wave Country to the east of Onigashima. I want you to find this person and extract any information you can from them. When the information has been found use this Seal and your Kage Makyou to return the information straight to the village and await your next orders." The shadow village sinks back into the floor and a shadowy hand rises up with it's palm up-turned, on it is a small circular token with the Hidden Shadow seal on it.

"Any questions?"
