((Only thing I wish i was better at.. would be decorating the cakes. They are delicious.. but I cant ever seem to decorate them just right.

Chris nodded a little and smiled. Though a little bit of pain was revealed in her eyes. For the last few minutes what he suspected to be true.. was most likely correct. The father.. had no traces at all in the house. And Dart's pictures were everywhere. From what he gathered.. Dart had probably done what Chris restrained him from doing while he still lived with them in Edge.
But for now.. that would be for another day. Dismissing the thoughts from his mind for the moment he went ahead and rummaged around for a knife and the cutting board. "Geeze.. as usual everything is moved around.." He said in a light-hearted voice.

"Oh how amusing, you've forgotten, I refused to take the swords offered to me when I got my crest, so that's all you get."Leon took the badge out of a pocket in his trench coat, and handed it to Matt. "Well no reason for me to stay here, besides the smell is over-whealming I don't see how you can stand it. Well then good-bye to both of you." Leon turn and started walking away, then said"Oh and next time Matt, if there is one, prepare your-self because I promise you I'll be stronger."

Bane stood outside of the enterance of Costa Del Sol, his hands rested casually on the pommel's of his scimitar's. He walked in slowly, peering round for any large groupings of Enersafe bruisers, but he saw nothing out of the ordinary. It was the first time he had ever been to the vacaional city, so he figured that he would relax until he found this supposed meeting, or just something else interesting. He walked over to the local bar and took a seat, waiting for his order to be taken by the bar-keep.

"Tsch... what a pity. I haven't had a good fight in a while." He said with a slight smile. He said as he accepted the badge. "Please.. keep in mind that you harm any more civilians while you are here... then I will be restraining you." A cruel venom was in his voice as Leon walked away. You will need a LOT of training to catch up to me boy.... Though Jubei here may be a bit of a risk later..."Jubei... if you would accompany me. The meeting will begin shortly." Matt said simply as he turned his back and began towards the elevator. They had made recent renovations.. with the new Deusex (orb-shuttles) in play now. Basically they ran swiftly using the ocean water to keep the orbs running swiftly from one area to another. And each railing was coated to protect it from the harsh damage sea water was known for causing. And these were currently only usable by EnerSafe employees. One could get from the poor district to central Junon in but 2 minutes with a Deusex.

LMAO I don't mean to! We were talking about food.. and well.. i was coincidently hungry LOL. sweatdrop
OMG! EVEEEL!!! Dx ))
"Hmn?" She turned around to see what he was talking about. She laughed, "Oh!" She pointed at the rectangular island. "The cutting bored and pots and pans are there.. We've still got the mini grill over in the corner, and the knives are in the drawer above the pots and pans. Oh and the mirin and everything is here." She pointed to a cabinet on her left. "And as you can see.. The herbs are.. everywhere.."
She smiled and noticed she hadn't shown Chris the new herb.
"Oh! Hey look at this.."
She held up the small herbs. Its stem was a bit fuzzy but the leaves were dark and green with a beautiful hue of red near the tips. She smiled.
"These are local! The chef uses it as a secret ingredient.. It's got a lot of benefits in it.. Mom's using it for bath right now!.. and smell it!" She held out to him to have a look see for himself.

[[The cake is a lie. But only because I can't seem to make them... They always come out dry, or under cooked... :_(
It just seemed to fit in, and I'll play in how ever ya want, just say when or how. ;P]]
Clouse could only sigh as he kept up with old lady, she was rather fast being so old, and gave Clouse a run for his money if nothing else. She finally slowed down a little latter, and looked back and forth from right to left while Clouse fought to catch his breath, running was not his thing, it wasn't that he was weak, he just didn't know how to run properly, and hadn't eat all day, so he wore himself out quick. "Come on... old lady... can't we go back... yet? Please?" He said in between breaths, as she decided on a path, "Nope, now come on, its this way." She started back up and Clouse did his best to keep up while wining, "Uh..." It sounded similar to a sigh, but all the same one could tell he wished he had kept his mouth shut earlier. "She lives just there. Now come on." No love, no love at all. Oh well, what was he to expect, the old lady had always been this way since he was a kid.

Chris smiled a little taking the herb from her. "Hmm.. what is this herb called if I may ask.." He went ahead and took the scent full in. It was quite a good smell to him at that... it was reminiscent of jasmine and cherry blossom.. but had a slightly spicy smell to it. This certainly would make quite a good taste from what he could tell.
Though he wasn't quite sure which parts could be used for eating, cooking, etc. etc.
"Hmm.. I think we are missing something..." He said as he looked over at the plants. "Ah thats it.." He said as he gently plucked a small sprig of a special mint that looked similar to a flower.
((XD yes.. this is how my character is supposed to be.. : P))

He went only far enough away that he could no longer smell the stale, fishy air of the port town, and set up a tent."well looks like no supper for me, agin... damn I really need to learn how to cook."Leon sat leaning aginst a tree near the tent keeping a close eye on Junon, if anything was going to happen, he wanted to be a part of it.

Shin smiled amused. Watching him take in the herb as though it were actually an art. Shin may like to study them.. But.. She laughed.
"Well, do you put the Zen in cooking or what?"
She took a smell of his combination though and she smiled. He was right.. it was a good match. He was always good at that.. like a high fashion women and her shoes.

"Hmm.. the seeds and stem.. might make a good tea." He said softly as he put one of the shreds of the plant into his mouth. Grinding it with his teeth it gave a very strong.. but not bad flavor into his mouth. It was similar to drinking a very good cup of jasmine tea but with a hint of lemon. He did this while debating for a few moments.
As she asked about him putting the zen in cooking, he weaved the flower-like mint into her hair, and gently brushed his fingers across her cheek. "Mm.. I think thats for you to decide." He said with a warm smile. And he took a few sprigs of the Suboga and 'dissected' it, removing the leaves, fuzzy bud, and stems. He chopped the stems into 1/2 inch pieces, the leaves he shredded, and lastly the fuzzy bud he cut in half and took the seeds from it.

The old lady final came upon a door and straitened herself before knocking on the door while saying, "Ms. Isou? Its me, Mural. Can I come in for spell? I brought Clouse along as well, you might remember him." Clouse just stood behind her, rather regretful still. He was going to die, he knew it, ether from embarrassment or hunger. The old lady had done him in, might as well had put rope around his neck. What was he do, he didn't even recall a Isou. He started to scratch the back of his head while taking a deep breath, finally having caught it in a sense.

Leon stood up and went over to the tent pulling out his pack and started digging through it."Where is that whetstone." He thought to himself, when he found it he went back over to the tree drew his blade, sat down, and started sharpening it with quick fluient strokes, tempering it every onece and awile with a small bit of flame.

"Eh...I'm done.."
She felt her face get hot and she looked away letting him experiment with the herb. she mixed the sauce for the teriyaki and besides him watching work with the herb. Now that she thought about it.. It was Chris that sparked her interest in the subject. While she was good with research and remedies.. he was the one who really know how to work them.
Suddenly the was a familiar voice at the front door.She paused and looked at Chris confused. Before shrugging her shoulder and walking towards the door.
"Great.. first excuse of the night she mumbled."
Her mother was just making her way down the stair. She didn't bother to wonder who the other guest was as they both were wondering.. 'Who's Clouse?' They both looked at each other puzzled as they met at the front door.
"Clouse?""Clouse?"
They whispered to each other, trying to find their manners. Another knock. Shin opened the door and smiled.
"Why Mrs.Mural! What an," Obvious," Unexpected surprise! Please come in.. and you too... uh.. Clouse... Haven't seen you in... ever?" She was unsure and her mother elbowed her side.
"Please.." She gestured for them to come in, in her ever present majestic ways. Shin shook her head and whispered, "There's a better surprise in the kitchen...2 actually."

Chris pouted to himself a little bit when she went to get the door. And softly muttered to himself.. "..damn it.." Sighing a little bit before going back to his "art" he continued to play with the herbs figuring a good way to put them into play.
For the tea he took the seeds and shredded leaves of the new herb and a tiny bit of mint, combining them all for a good tea herb mixture. Then after those were set aside he started to shred the chicken. After all Shredded chicken was always the best at soaking up the sauces.
And after a few minutes when the large amount of chicken was shredded he started putting all sorts of spices into it. Varying from a bit of basil to a very flavorful pepper he bought from the market.
