She laughed as she nudged her brother. "You, self proclaimed loner ... bringing a nice mare to meet me?" That sounded a awful lot like he liked the mare and wanted to make sure his sister did too. She'd have to tell him about the sea creature eventually. Maybe after she talked to him again.
She shook her head and tried to figure out what the mare was ... 'Oh! .... Oh no, no. We just met. I was the one who asked to come see you."

His eyes went wide as realization hit him like a cold wave that he'd just run face first into. "Ela!" He couldn't believe his sister had just said that... Or maybe he could believe it... But now he just wanted to go bury his head in the sand somewhere and try to forget that this had happened. Thank god Trucido wasn't anywhere around to see this. He'd never hear the end of it.

She laughed softly and smiled at her brother's flustered state. Even if he hadn't meant for it to look like that it was still funny to see him in that state. Though it was a little mean to the mare after she'd helped her.
"I think i should probably ... um .... leave you two?" She didn't want to stick around if it was going to make Acheron uncomfortable. She hadn't meant to do anything like that.

"No!" He coughed, catching himself as he tried to regain some sort of a dignified state, attempting to ignore his sister's laughter. "I mean... You don't have to leave... Unless you want to, of course." After this sort of embarrassment he couldn't exactly blame her if she did want to leave. The only thing that could possible be worse would be if his mother chose this moment to show up...

"Well there is a figure i haven't seen in a long time, and one i've never seen before" She had gone in search of her daughter since Ela had been out longer than she usually was. She hadn't expected to see her daughter, one of her sons and a new mare about.
"I just wouldn't want to ... oh. I'm sorry. Hello." She turned, trying to pretend she hadn't jumped slightly, and looked at the mare behind her. The mare almost seemed to shimmer and for a minuet she wasn't sure if she was gray or blue.
"Mama!" She smiled as she saw her mother coming up the beach. She must have been looking for her.

He hoped that whatever fates there were residing in the sky above were getting a good laugh out of his fortune; whether it be good or bad at the moment. They certainly had to have a good sense of humor to have arranged something like this.
He took a deep breath and put on a smile. "Mother... Allow me to introduce you to Kalosyni before I am called rude for not getting a chance to do so before you tell me how much I've grown since you last saw me."

"Kalosyni is it?" She tilted her head in greeting. "I would hazard you've been introduced to my children. I'm Mano'Uhane. You may shorten that however you wish as it is a mouthful."
She raised a brow and looked at her son. "You have grown since last i saw you. You should come visit more often.
She bowed her head slightly. It was hard to see where Ela had gotten her coloration from with a mother like that but their eyes did match at least. It was easier to see her coloration in Acheron. They must have had an impressive Father to have gotten the looks they had.
"I told him he should come visit more often. He's away from home more than Turcido"

He muttered something as he leaned in, brushing his cheek against his mother's as a son's sign of affection. Trucido was one of the reasons why he preferred staying away from home... The sand was another. He could feel tiny grains sticking to his wings each time the sea breeze passed.
"I will try to visit more often this time... There is much to explore in the forest though... Far less sand than there is by the sea."

She tsked softly. "You feather brains and your dislike of the sand." Van complained about it along with Rokuta. It was silly to her as she liked the sand but she also didn't have their feathered appendages.
"It is a little ... salty. Though the sound is nice." She smiled as she looked out over the sea.

"I sink in it and it clings to my wings." His nose wrinkled slightly and, for a moment, he looked more like the foal that both his sister and mother had known more of than the young stallion he had become.
After a moment he looked back towards Kalosyni. "... Should I escort you back to the forest now or would you like to stay a bit longer?"

"It was nice to meet you Kalosyni. I do hope you come visit again. It is always nice when someone who's not family is about"
"Oh yes ... i should probably get back home before it is dark." It wouldn't be nice to try to clime that cliff in the dark. Her night vision wasn't that nice.
"Make sure you come back to visit. I will have things to tell you next time." She smiled at her brother before she turned to trot back toward the cave that her mother called home.

"I promise I'll be back." He chuckled at his sister as he turned away, heading back across the stands to the path that he'd guided Kalosyni down. Once they were out of range of the ears of his mother and sister he turned back towards her. "... I am so sorry."

"It's alright." She laughed softly as she headed back up the path. "Your family seems nice. Your sister is lovely to." The broken wings aside she was gorgeous.
Acheron hadn't been kidding when he said she smiled a lot. She wasn't sure she'd have been able to if she had to deal with the appearance that Elattoma did.

"You're an alicorn. It is not that surprising that your aren't that good at healing." She smiled. "Both my parents are unicorns. So i suppose i've got double the talent." She had liked being able to help her new friends sister though.
"Are you going to walk me home? Or should i say good-by here?"
