She sat up a bit and accepted the cup, blushing and looking at the floor. "Thanks." Adrienne said to both his statement and the juice. "I'll sober up soon... I'm a bad drunk, but a quick one." Sipping slowly at the drink, she glanced up at him. "I haven't really had to the chance to talk *hic* to you before what with you being in the English department and me being in the math department you seem nice though I can understand why the students favor you." Her words became all jumbled together and she sort of rambled. "Oh, this is embarrassing... I'm going to kill them when they wake up, I swear!"

He took a sip of his own drink, and let her ramble a bit before speaking softly, as to not hurt her soon-to-be headache. "I understand what you mean. Other than staff meetings, I haven't seen you much either. And a lock-down doesn't happen often, so it's usually pretty busy for us. But I must say, many of the students look highly upon you as well." He commented before starting to the question. "Now, think hard for a moment; can you remember which ones spiked your drink, or what they looked like?" he asked her kindly; even though she was drunk as a monkey, she might still remember since it wasn't long ago.

Celia nodded, "Bullshits fine." she said. "And I want to play Al later, see how good he claims to be at all these games." she smirked. "Now you're going to get the competitive side out of everyone.... Or atleast me." she said with a grin. She wasn't an expert at many games, but a few she was. She couldn't play poker, but she could play bullsh*t, blackjack, expecially spit, and a couple board games. "Shall we start then if everyone's in agreement."

Adrienne blushed again and almost wanted to hit him for saying such flattering things. "I don't remember seeing anyone. I came in for first period, got coffee from the machine..." She blinked. "..Er.. that's it. The principal made her announcement so I went patrolling.." She stood up slowly and went over to the coffee machine. The carafe was still half full and she sniffed at it. "Ah ha. They spiked the entire carafe. Nice to know it wasn't just aimed at me, eh?" She laughed softly and then held her head, cursing violently under her breath. "And there is the hangover..."

Alastair took the deck of cards and started to shuffle them rather expertly. "You're on, lil' lady." He continued to shuffle, waiting for everyone's response. When his parents both went off to conferences, he had to stay home with the babysitter. Fortunately, the babysitter was rather cool and knew his way about a deck of cards. The man had taught Alastair a whole lot about card games except wussy ones like go fish.

Kiyoko watched as they prepared for the game; it was tense enough that one could cut the competitiveness with a knife and serve it with milk. This was bound to make the game more interesting; the more that's on the line, the bigger the play. It seemed to work that way in real life, so why not here? She knew the conquences of what happened when one got too angry, and she felt the stitching underneath her hair as she fixed it a bit.
Shirou held her steady as he too took a whiff of the coffee machine. It was true; the whole thing was contaminated and spiked! This could only be a prank, but who could have gotten into the office? It's always locked, and only teachers had the keys. He checked the window, and as the rain continued to pour, he realized that it was unlocked, and had been opened earlier, for the latch was still warm as a hand had to open it.
"This is....not good." he said aloud, to no one in particular. He snapped out of his thoughts as the fellow teacher began to curse, for her hangover was starting. He got a medicine pill of hte table, and sat her back down. "You just need to rest; it looks like someone decided to add a bit of fun for you guys." he said, handing her the pill. "That should help." But there was one problem; what about the bottles on teh floor?

Celia watched Al. "Pretty fancy with the cards, huh? You going to make this challenging or are you all talk?" she asked, semi-teasingly, giving him a playful nudge. She was feeling much better than she was before. She had forgotten about what had fustrated her and was enjoying the time now. Might as well make a best of any situation. Besides, this was a good group of people.

Alastair smiled. It was a rather warm smile, as to reassure them that he wasn't going to take anything too seriously. "Are you going to make this challenging? You don't look the card type." He looked around at everyone else. "Make up your mind people! I want to get started."
~...~...~...~
Adrienne let him guide her back. She focused on rubbing her head in circles. Gratefully taking the pill, she dry-swallowed it and let out a noise of thanks.
After a few minutes, she sighed and looked about. "Geh. Looks like a prank, doesn't it? They don't look like the partying type." She squinted her eyes at one of the bottles. "They look empty..." Frowning, she rubbed her head again and sat back into the sofa.

"I already said yes!" Kiyoko said jokingly, knowing he was referring to the others that stayed quiet. She was very thankful to have sit here and have breakfest today; usually she wouldn't bother, and sit in the halls. After all, now she was sitting with cool friendly people, and it was making her day worthwhile.
Shirou realized that she had a point; they weren't even filled with any liquid. Anyone could have planted them there. "Were they asleep any time before you left and found me?" he asked her; this was worrying him quite a bit now. If the principal found out, the rest of the students might be unfairly punished. But, who would be bored enough? Depending on the place, they'd have to be at least 18, or 21. So, did that count teachers as suspects as well?

Celia smiled, she liked his smile. She had to say it was kind of attractive. "Yes, I am..." she said with a grin. "You'd be suprised. I grew up with a guy like Ray around. His friends were into cards and lets say I got bored of playing with girls." she said, semi-jokingly. She didn't really care if she won or not. She just wanted to have fun. This kept her mind off other things.

Conall stalked through the halls, bored and iPod blaring. His eyes scanned the halls for anything remotely interesting, but nothing ever came up. The most he saw were kids making out in the hallway and people being idiots. Conall stopped by the window and looked out. He had been the one to groan the loudest when the announcement came. After all, he had literally nothing to do during school hours, and if he had to spend at least an entire day here he would be in a undying hell. And so now, with his iPod battery almost dead, Conall walked back into the cafeteria, looking for more food for the perpetual abyss known as his stomach.

Getting restless, he groaned. "Losers out, y'all can just switch in later." He shot the cards to the three girls and himself. "Heh heh heh..." He picked up his cards and put them in order. "I forgot... Who goes first? The person with the ace of spades?"
~...~...~...~
"They seemed... Out of it. But I thought that was from the announcement." Adrienne frowned and started to pick up the bottles. "Its best to clean this mess up in case the Principal comes around. Make them look like they're sleeping." She threw out the bottles and returned, crossing her arms. "Must be a senior prank or something... Damn brats..." She seemed bitter from being tricked into getting drunk.

She shook her head yes and took her cards. Looking them over she grinned. "One ace of spades at your service." She placed the card faced down and began to organize the rest of her cards.

Al put on his poker face: a hard and very unemotional cover. It was his turn next so he placed two cards on top of the pile. "2 twos." He said very straightly. The others should be glad they weren't playing poker...
