Girls wear a long-sleeved button down shirt with black palazzo pants (that are very hazardous) and a red sash. Guys were a black tux and white shirt with a red tie.

all members of my band have to wear white to your waist and black everything lower than your waist. guys have to wear coverbunns and bow ties!!!!!! hahahahha

the girls have to ware a megga ugly dress! everyone hates it and when we found out we had to ware it in front of the whole school eek it wasnt pretty...

Girls:
White shirt, black pants/skirt(formal pants, Not sweatpants. XD) , any color shoe(except crazy colors like pink O_o) .
Boys:White shirt, Formal black pants, black shoes, no sneakers, bowtie/tie.

I have to wear a long black dress...But mine is too short for me, so I always look ridiculous.

Girls just wear black formal wear and guys wear black dress pants and a dress shirt...we probably don't have enough money for uniforms.

We don't have a uniform. We can wear what ever we want to an extent. Boys have to where a button down shirt, tie, nice pants and shoes. Girls we can either wear very nice pants and a nice shirt. But most of us just wear a school appropriate skirt, a nice shirt and usually heels. This is a picture from my last concert this year.

The girls must wear a floor length black skirt with closed toed shoes, and at least 3/4 length sleeves on their black shirt. The guys check out tuxes and have to buy the white shirt of their own. It looks so stupid because the girls never match. Then, there are years when the skirts are super short and the audience gets quite the show... Yeah, not fun. Did I mention no jewelry except for studs? confused

Beginning Band -
girls: white short sleeved blouses, black slacks or skirts, dark socks, black opened toed/closed toed
guys: white short sleeved shirts, black pants, dark socks, closed toed shoes
Intermediate (Concert) Band -
girls: white long sleeved blouses, black slacks or skirts, dark socks, black closed toed shoes
guys: white long sleeved shirts, black pants, dark socks, closed toed shoes
Advanced (Symphonic) Band -
girls: white long sleeved blouses OR band uniform, black slacks or skirts, dark socks, black closed toed shoes
guys: white long sleeved shirts OR band uniform, black pants, dark socks, closed toed shoes
Jazz Band -

we have to wear a black shirt that has West Band written in yellow (how i DREAD that color combination dont ask why) on the top left. it's short sleeved. and you know how collars usually have a rectangle shape to them? well, ours is rounded O.o. we have to wear black pants ( dont got any so i wear black jeans XD) and black shoes (if we have some. the only BLACK shoes i have are heels and i play percussion. i am NOT wearing heels to a concert!!!!) and all this goes for both boys and girls...the director gets to wear whatever he wants XP

For the winter concert, it is Sunday best because no uniforms have been distributed. This is funny because normally only one or two guys in the whole band know how to tie a tie.
During the normal concert season, guys have it easy. Independent of band, guys have to wear a suit, cumberbun, and bow tie. Girls... well, it depends on the band.
Sym Bands (The one every girl wants to be in because of uniform): We wear a black, floor- length dress. It is satin from the waist down. Then there is a black ribbon. The top is black "velvet." The color is square and the sleeves are full length. If we are competing, the sleeves have to be pulled down. Otherwise, we normally wear them to the elbow. These are the same dresses we wear at the spring concert, outside, in 90 degree heat.
Concert Bands: It looks like a monk robe or a trash bag. Plain and simple. There is way too much fabric. It is also floor length.
Girls also have rules on jewelry. No jewelry except for the fake pearls the band sells with the uniform. And you MUST wear the pearls at competition.
Shoes are black and closed toe. They most likely will not be seen under the dress, but they must be closed toe.
