+--I talked with one of the members in towns. A nice guy at that. I agree with Tim, they're like us when we started. People making assumptions with no fact based on them. It turns out they have a few members who aren't completely literate, but let them in because they asked nicely. Don't sound like pricks to me.--+

Going up against with one of the old big time guilds gets attention, and I'm suspecting that's what they want. A bit of literacy in like minded people and some fame. It's what most guilds want, so they can get members. I'm hoping they don't actually start trouble on purpose, just play with the idea to get some attention. If that's the case, I say let them do what they want. They're not hurting anyone.--+

We've had some private messages tossed back and forth, and of course this topic here, but that really is the extent of contact we've had with each other. Generally the public doesn't look in here unless there is an event or something, so there's the flaw in the thought that they are competing with us.

The name Specters is used in the Subtle Knife, the sequal to the Golden Compass.
I doubt it has a connection but it reminded me of Gaia.

So... We asked about an ambassadorship and they were rude about it? Screw them. Anyone who wishes to "target" our guild is not really worth our time.
They're small fishies... and we're one big fish with a little light at ten of our antennae thang. We can eat them.

I was personally having fun stalking them xp . I soon stopped after we agreed to not interfere with them, but one of them does like scooby doo. I really don't care, there reluctance to ambassadorship is kind of, odd, but theres nothing we can do about it. lets just drop this entirely unless they do something brash.
