He nodded and smiled at her letting out a tiny laugh. " Yeah. I think I heard one on the way over here." He said, but he was sure he was just hearing things. "Or perhaps you know where one is around here?" he asked her. It would be easier to know exactly where one was rather then not knowing and looking like an idiot when not finding one.

She turned to look at him, her head tilted to the side and ears still perked up. A moment later she shook her head. “Afraid not. This is my first time being in this area.” She smiled sheepishly. She probably shouldn’t have wandered this far anyways, but she was happy she did. She had met Tawny, her new friend. “Lets search for it together!”

" Makes it more of an adventure!" He said with a smile. Though he was sure he'd look like an idiot, but at the moment it didn't seem to matter. it was fun to be around this female. She was a lot of fun. But he hadn't met a ulaya he didn't like.

She gave a huge nod. “Yeah! Let’s go have an adventure!” She started in a random direction to her right and kept her ears perked for the sound of running water. She was having so much fun! She thought that today would be another boring day, and instead she had met a new friend!

He hoped it wouldn't take long to find water, he was now beginning to get rather thirsty. Though, he wasn't one to actually know how to find water. He sniffed the air, and try to listen, but he didn't know what to listen for. "Perhaps if we keep going this way" He pointed in the direction in front of them. It seemed most logic.

She turned to look in the direction and felt a little stupid. Of course they should go that way. She gave a small laugh and tried to hide her embarrassment, “I think we should go that way as well. Duh.” She knocked on her head, trying to laugh off her mistake. She was thirsty, and now wanted to find something that she could drink form. “You can lead the way!”

"How about, we both lead the way!" He said to her waiting for her to start walking next to him before actually continuing going. It seemed like a better idea, then letting him lead. That way they could talk without worrying about anything. he flicked his bobbed tail back and forth and smiled at the female. This day was great.

She tilted her head and said, “But, if we would both lead the way, what if we wanted to go different ways? Then we would be split up from each other, and the possibility of one of us getting lost or not even finding a place for water would be greater.” She blinked and looked at him. The way that she said it had sounded rather thought through and smart. Weird.

"I'm sure that won't happen." He said with a laugh. Though that was a good question. "If it comes down to that, then I'll follow you." He nodded. He didn't need to lead, he had no clue where they were going. He smiled and wagged his tail.

She shook her head and smiled at him. “Okay!” She looked around again and turned back to him. “I haven’t been here before, so I think that we should go…” She pointed a green paw towards a cluster of trees, “That way!”

"Sounds good to me!" he said with a smile. His little tail was wagging back and forth as fast as it could. He couldn't help but be happy when with others, and she seemed to relax him rather easier then most others. "You know. I like you, your awesome" He said without realizing it.

Artemis stopped right in her tracks and blushed, looking at him over her shoulder. “Really?” She asked him hopefully then shot him a bright smile, “I think you’re awesome too! The awesome-est ulaya I have ever met.” She exclaimed! He was amazing, and so very nice. Indeed, the awesome-est ulaya in existence.

Of course once said, he didn't even regret it, or found it embarrassing. It was better to get them out then let them build up. He had always said what he felt, and it made him feel better then anyone else that kept it in would feel. "Of course! I wouldn't lie" He said and gave a big smile when she returned the comment. "Really? I am sure there are many better then me." he said noblely. He never liked thinking he was the best, but rather lesser of others.

She raised an eyebrow and straightened her spine, giving him a superior look. “Would I lie?” She asked in a haughty tone then broke down and finally gave into a laugh. “I wouldn’t! You are nice, cool, cute, and indeed the awesome-est ulaya I have ever met!” And although she hadn’t meant any other ulaya, she doubted that any of them could be as kind as him. She was grinning at him and had the sudden urge to glomp him in a hug.

Cute? His ears seemed to hear that right? His once orange cheeks were a very dark orange red. Though, perhaps she wouldn't notice his blushing? "C-cute?" He chocked out. He never heard anyone call him cute, so it was a bit surprising. She was beautiful, he couldn't lie, but he didn't know how to say it. Perhaps, she already knew he thought so?
