So, no relations were a certainty. Ears fell back as the angelic mumbled on a string of broken thoughts. Just what was she trying to explain? And this Seer held a power as well? If only she could pronounce it in an understanding manner. "It'd be much easier to accept your words if you could rephrase them." He was still groggy, and to be pestered about the topic of the new kit didn't settle well with him. Not if there was nothing to understand. Otherwise, yes... he was eager to learn whatever he could if it'd help the young one. "So what is this "Truth"."

Seer opened and closed her mouth a few times as she mulled things over, more speaking things to herself in her mind to check their validity before she spoke again. Finally she nodded to herself. "She was grown before she got sent here, and for some reason her growth was reversed when she got here and now she's little again." She tilted her head. "She belongs with you two, though. Like you're from the same place."

Belonged to the two of them? Reversed growth? This made a little more sense, but their world was vast. Maybe a little less vast than this one, but still fairly large for its size. Surely this was not one of their lost comrades? That would be a bit concidential, maybe even a little creepy.
"What is her name?" She asked softly. She needed a name to confirm. At least that would pin point things a little better.

From the same place? The male's form stiffened at how that oddly made sense to him. Even if he himself couldn't define why. Embry twisted his neck to look back down to the kit, his maw frowning lightly. Belongs with us two...
"For some reason." He looked to his captain and friend. "The Lazuli?" It was a whispered question, almost cautious of the topic. Oh yes, a name. Like the missing link to a puzzle, maybe this would solve everything. But, was that wise? Did they even know what they were asking for?

Seer looked at the kit again, eyes crossing slightly before she closed them and shook her head. "Seraphina." She wasn't sure what else to say, but whether fortunately or unfortunately she felt some sniffles coming on. With a huff and a slight pout she tried to excuse herself. "Er... I'm sorry, it was nice meeting you, but I forgot for a minute what I was doing here. I should get going..." She wagged her tails slightly. "Maybe I'll see you again sometime! I always like to meet more angelics, I don't know many."

The Lazuli was a rather hushed subject even to the captain. She hadn't seen an angelic like this before, had she? Then again it was hard imagining things differently than they appeared. Was this comrade one she hadn't met before? Perhaps it was one that fought else where, or was caught up in the midst of the battles and somehow got thrown over here.
"Seraphina?" Sai replied back rhetorically. "It was nice to meet you, Seer. We thank you for your assistance, it is greatly appreciated. I hope we will meet again and speak properly then. Travel safely."
Soft eyes turned back to the baby Seraphina, then towards Embry. "Who would have known? At least we now know we have one less comrade to search for." A small smile formed upon her maw at the thought. They didn't lose one of the most trusted comrades. It was good to know Embry found her before anything foul happened to her. "It is good to know she landed in safe paws before either some uncaring Kitsusagi did who knows what to her, or she was left to fend for herself in the cruel cold hungry."

To hear that familiar name, it left Embry speechless. No wonder she had appeared so familiar, and that name was the lock to him remembering. He could merely nod gratefully to the other. Sai's words conveyed all he too could express. "Pleasure to meet you."
Shocked eyes turned to the white angelic. What were the odds? A scout locating another scout, his own captain, for that matter. A soft smile touched his face. "That is true. We've found one more allie." Attention was given to the sleeping youth beside them. Seraphina. His once shuddering nerves were now eased through this knowledge. The closest ear flicked to the female's voice. "Hm. Safe paws account for nothing though if they know nothing. Again, I thank you for helping me."

It was good to see and feel Embry relaxing at the thought of the kit being Seraphina. Now that they knew who she was, they could better raise her and feel more at ease for finding a fellow comrade. "You saved her, too. If not for you, she would probably be dead from starvation combined with the cold. If she could speak, I am sure she would thank you, too." She nodded firmly to assure him of his well done task.

The male just sat silently, absorbing the other's words considerately. Guess they were all just lucky. Maybe it was a hidden blessing from the Lazuli. Ashen form shifted before he found himself laying on his side, eyes half-lidded with a subtle nod. "What else could I do?" He didn't dare mention his attempt at abandonment earlier. It was a half-hearted attempt anyway, too cruel for him to truly partake. The angelic curled forward and inward to rest, dark grey tails brushing at his waist. Before he could even utter an apology for his lack of energy, Embry was soon sound asleep.

She watched as the other one finally drifted off to some much needed rest. Heh, in a way she was almost taking care of two children. Only one was much easier to understand than the other. She hadn't been around Seraphina enough to feel her emotions too strongly, but with the way things turned out they would bond much more than if she were an adult. Maybe it really was a blessing of the Lazuli.
Either way, Sai laid herself against the hard wooden floors with her forepaws tucked in under her form. She would stay awake to watch the two as they slept. She found sleeping ones more enjoyable to watch than ones who were awake.
