"Oh thanks" She said dusting herself off. "I was trying to get away from all the chaos in the hallway and I just went through the first exit I saw and I came here." She conveniently left out the tripping part for she was already blushing from embarrassment. She heard a twig snap and saw another girl walking toward the clearing. She glanced back at the boy and noticed his discomfort. She looked down at her arm, she was bleeding from where she hit the stump. She watched as she healed herself, feeling the boys eyes watching as well. If he didn't already know she was a spirit elemental, he did now. She looked up to see the girl with plant had drawn closer. "Hope to see you around school sometime." She said with a smile, before walking over to the approaching girl. Alice may be clutsy but her steps are always lithe and silent...even if she does trip sometimes. "Hi, you must be a earth elemental! Oh I know a great spot where you can plant that!" Alice said hastily to the startled girl. Pushing her along away from the boy. Looking back and winking, knowing he wanted to be alone.

Alice didn't know where she was leading them, but she was sure they would be able to find a way back. They stopped before a small creek. "I'm Alice." Alice held out her hand to shake. The girl shook her hand, she seemed almost frail. Alice smiled warmly at her. "Does here look good?" She asked the girl.

"So whats it like being an Earth elemental? Can you talk to animals too?" Alice asked, as the girl continued to dig a whole. Alice leaned against a nearby tree, she looked at it and noticed a small butterfly clinging to it.

Alice's smile vanished. Usually when she told people power she got too reactions, ridicule and taunting. And fear and caution. And of course the less usual friendship. "I'm a spirit elemental." Most people didn't understand the powers of the spirit elementals. Thus what people don't understand, they destroy or exile. Thats why she had never come to this school until now, for fear she would be shunned for what she is.

Alice's eyes widened. "You really don't know?" She scanned the girls face, she definitely was clueless. "Well a spirit elemental can heal, people and things, as well as bring things back to life...and," She used her telekinesis to life the plant from its pot and into the hole, "we can do that. But unfortunately I am the only spirit elemental alive, as far as I know"

Noelle blinked. "Wow..." She looked at Alice. "Neat! If I'd had that power when I started out with plants I could've used it... a lot more than I'd like to admit..." She rested her hand in the dirt. "Is it hard to calm yourself down in tense situations?" She asked curiously.

Noelle hugged the tree again, and picked the pot up. "Yeah," she smiled. "I think I'll grow a poinsettia... what do you think?" She asked. "Should bloom near Christmas if I coax it..." She pondered aloud. She'd never grown a poinsettia... her mother said she had enough plants. She looked up at the trees. "I really do love poinsettias..." She was off in her own world now. She wandered back into the clearing. She walked quickly by Kye, muttering, "Poinsettia seeds... where do I get poinsettia seeds?"

She stopped, and smiled at him. "Thanks!" She started to rush off, then stopped. "Which way is the main building?" She asked. She had gotten so caught up in the place to plant the little tree that she had forgotten where everything was. She hated that about herself, she got so caught up in plants she nearly always forgot important things. She decided to write a map... after she got poinsettia seeds.
