Bombs? It wasn't until that moment that it truly registered in Link's head how oddly dressed the girl was. Growing up on the farm, fashion was not something the boy knew much about, which was why at first the robes did not phase him. BUt something about the combination of her dress, the direction she came from and the bombs she was carrying set off sirens in his head, "You're not from around here are you?"

Sofia got to her feet and smiled in Gustave's general direction.

"Thank you so much. I was worried that they would jar against each other and explode. Brother didn't explain what they did..." she said, more to herself then to the men. This time, she didn't catch her usage of 'brother'

"I'm actually from up on Death Mountain. Goron City to be exact. You see, I was taken in at a young age..." she told Link. Grinning, she checked inside the bag.

"Brother would kill me if these exploded en route. Oh, who am I kidding? I run errands for Brother all the time, he wouldn't kill me!" she said, once again to herself. Bigosso's face flew through her head and she started suddenly.

"Oh, I need to get to the Bomb Shop! Tetana needs these!" she exclaimed. Waving, she ran off towards the shop.

Link stared confusedly as the girl ran off. When she was out of sight, he turned to his friend and in a confused voice asked, "Did I miss something?"

Gustave stared just as confused as Link... "I... have no idea." He said after a bit, "But... 'Brother?' What did she mean by that...?" He said, somewhat to himself.

"Oh well," Link sighed. 'Well that didn't work, maybe I should try... no that wouldn't work. Maybe... no, he'd never fall for that. Maybe...but where would I find three hundred penguins around here? HM... I've got it," the blond mused then excitedly grabbed the bag in his pocket, the payment for their delivery. Carefully, Link removed and counted off about half of the rupees and shoved them into his pocket. the rest of the bag, Link tossed to Gustave, "Here, consider it your pay for the week, I'll just have to tell Ma about it later."

(300 penguins...?)

Gustave caught the bag mid-air, and pocketed it quickly. "Thanks. Now, to spend this on frivolus things... like... bombs!" He said, with a grin, "Wait... They'd be too dangerous without a bag to carry them in..."

(It was a joke)

"I think I have one of those at home, I guess we could come back later if you want," Link's mind wandered back to the arsenal his great great grandfather kept at the back of the barn. Most of the stuff in there had broken from years of use, on what Link had no idea, but a few things had survived like the bomb bag.

(I know... XD)

"Alright." Gustave said with a grin. "Man... I'd feel bad for taking something of yours... but, I really don't care."

"It's not mine anyway.. It belonged to my anscestor, 'Mr. Hero'," Link replied with air quotes. "We have alot of old rusted things of his. That was the man's legacy, junk and tall tales." Link said in a serious tone, his ancestor was always a touchy subject. When he was young, Ma used to tell him stories of how he slayed dragons, awakened the sages and rescued the Princess Zelda. Link wanted so much to be like him, but then one day he found out the truth. As a kid he almost never left the farm, but as he got older, his playground grew and so did his playmates. He would brag that he was the descendant of a hero, until one day, another kid challenged him. He said he asked his mom and she said she never heard of such a thing. Link spent a long time trying to prove them wrong, but no matter where he searched, he found nothing.

"Ah... I see..." Gustave said, nodding, "Well, it's better to know what something is, I suppose, then let it rot away into obscruity." Now, this is the most profound thing Gustave has ever said in his life, which surprized himself a bit. "Woah... where did that come from...? Anyway, I'll go see if that girl is alright..." He said, and headed to the store...

Link watched as his friend ran off. 'Gustave just doesn't understand, how could he,' the farmboy thought as he watched his friend run off.

(the thought just occurred to me, who raised Gustave, I'm assuming parents, but it's your character, though seeing as our characters are friends, I'd think Link would know)

((I suppose I'll make a first post.))

Ganondorf's rather large, heavy blade arced above his head, coming down in a heavy, showy blow to the dummy's head. The steel pole buckled significantly, and when he brought it around again in a skillful second slash to the dummy's side, the 200 pound sword-target nearly collapsed sideways at the power.

He always had his dummy with him; he had to stay sharp with his sword, even though it wasn't really his favorite thing to do. It ended up being worth it, though; should one of his friends come to envy his inevitable power, he'd be ready for them.

Anyhow, that was his hope.

Soon enough, though, his power would expand. He would travel to Hyrule, claim a girl he didn't know, and in doing such, either solidify all that he wanted and needed or put down another flagstone in the path to ultimate power. It all depended on how the pendulum swung.

The girl... Who was she? He didn't know, and he didn't care, much. He'd be sure to let her know that he didn't care for her at all, since he suspected the same would be returned. She'd live her life, he'd live his, and all would be well.

Wiping a bead of sweat away from his dark forehead with the back of a gloved hand, he set back to the dummy, nearly snapping its neck in half.

Sir Hyn Lagon slashed at a tree. His sword came around with his body, slashing out with amazing speed and bone-shattering power. His body, already twisted from the first blow, twisted again the opposite way, bringing the sword around into the tree again, this time on the other side. Drawing the blade back slightly, he slammed it into the tree, thrusting at his own stomach level with a frightening punch.

His footwork was wrong; he shook his head and started the exercise again.

He kept himself busy, thinking about what he had gathered from Hyrule from his most recent covert visit. It wasn't much; things were relatively calm, aside from the old news of the threatening Gerudos. The new news was a rumor that some sort of peace pact or alliance had been reached upon. What precisely it was was quite well unknown; some said it was an exchange of goods, others said it went so far as for the king's daughter Zelda being married to the Gerudo leader. This last seemed quite unlikely to Hyn, however; Zelda was too precious to the king, if he remembered anything. Flattering himself wasn't that great of an idea, however. He might get lazy.

With a shake of his head, he set back in, trying to push the power, speed, and unpredictability of his strikes to a higher level.
