YESSS....its really gross....and smells like s**t....also make sure you clean your instrument out otherwise, along with the reed it smeiil really bad

OMG!
My freshman year in highschool. I had had a reed for I think...maybe three weeks? And it was Marching season, and the way I think, reeds aren't meant to last that long during Marching season. Okay...so right before a Friday night football game I turned over my reed and it was all green and fuzzy. I really thought nothing of it and just stuck it in my mouth and played. Unfortunately for me, I had the worst two people for Bass Clarinet section leaders and I was made fun of long after my freshman year. STILL AM!!!
