The Umbreon growled slightly, flicking his ears backwards. Yes, that was his stomach growling, of course. He wouldn't mind battling this girl; maybe if she lost one too many times she'd be less perky. And happy. And annoying. And clingy. And everything.
"Battle?" Kazuki asked, sratching Ryou behind the ears a bit to calm him down. He hadn't battled another trainer before. Hell, he hadn't battled before ever. But still... He looked down at Manami, who was still transfixed by the Pikachu plushie. "All right then. I don't know if Manami cares if it's colored or not, but something tells me she might..." He watched as the Seel lost interest when the plushie disappeared, and she leapt after Albireo into the elevator. He blinked, looking around as they stepped in. Would the elevator hold two teenagers and three pokemon? Especially two rather large sea lion pokemon? He could only hope...

With a Ding! the elevator door opened. Thankfully, it seemed large and spacious. Luna went to the corner of the elevator with transparent glass that allowed the occupants to look down below. "Whaa~Awesome! I've never been to one of these fancy hotels before. Albireo, don't you like the view?" Luna asked her dewgong.
Albireo barked, transfixed by the scenery of luxurious items. Wow! Would the food look this good too?
"Well, we could always battle over time..." Luna said, eyes still fixed on the window, "and I can make the plushies between battles, so by our third battle or so, I'll probably have it for you~"

Kazuki stood off to the side, closer to the door, and peered through the glass from there. He shuddered a bit, the fact that they were so high above the lobby made him nervous. Ryou didn't notice, nor did he care about, how high they were. Manami was amazed by the view, her violet eyes darting back and forth as fast as possible. She had never been up so high before! Well, except for when they rode in the helicopter, but she couldn't see out of that very well.
As soon as the elevator reached the designated floor, Kazuki quickly hopped out and took a few paces forward, looking in either direction. He wasn't too sure which way the dining room was, but he was certain Luna would know. "That would work," he said in response to her comment about battling over time. Would Manami or Ryou battle her? Or both? He had a hunch Manami wouldn't do too well in any battle, so possibly Ryou... But would the Umbreon want to? He had no way of knowing at the moment. Right now, food was more important.

"Okay Albireo...which way was it to the dining room again?" Luna asked the dewgong.
Albireo cocked his head, confused as to why his trainer was asking HIM. SHE should know, shouldn't she? She was the food provider!
"Just sniff for it!" Luna added.
Oh! So that's what she meant! Okay! That was manageable! Albireo sniffed into the air, sniffing nicely cooked and seasoned fish...TO THE RIGHT! Immediately, Albireo started to leap towards the direction of the smell and towards the dining room.
"Woo! Lead the way!"

The delectable scent of irresistible foods wafted towards Ryou's nose, causing the dark-types ears to flick forwards as he started sniffing a bit. He sniffed a bit more before leaping from Kazuki's shoulders, letting his nose guide him as he trotted towards the dining room. He didn't need to see to get there, he merely needed his nose and his other senses to (narrowly) avoid running into things.
Kazuki smiled, watching Manami leap after Albireo and attempt to keep up with him, and Ryou following them close behind. "So," he began, looking over at Luna. "Do you know where the dining room is, or did you really need Albireo to find it for you?"
Manami bounded into the dining room and stopped, staring around at all of the different foods there were, overwhelmed by the sights, sounds, and smells. It all looked so GOOD! Ryou, however, didn't stop but merely swerved around the Seel and trotted into the dining room, his ears perked but mostly using his nose. Such delicious scents he hadn't smelled in years teased his senses, making his mouth water with anticipation. Food was good, especially human food.

"Welllll, this hotel IS 10 times larger than my house, and I can't even navigate there without those little labels on the doors. Do you think I can find my way around HERE without a map?" Luna asked, giving Kazuki a raised eyebrow.
"But anyways, food!" Luna darted off towards the buffet table, stacking up her plate with many different items. Albireo followed her around, occasionally barking at his trainer if he liked the smell of a specific dish. Oh yes. Chaos was about to arrive to the dining room.

Jen, on the other hand, had not noticed the new arrivals to the dining room; the trainer was too busy stuffing her face and conversing with Day. "Well......considering the fact that all I had to eat during the trip was a few packets if insta-meal, yes, I am very hungry!"
Sticking her fork into the shrimp, she spun it around on her plate while looking out at the steam rising from the springs nearby. "Personally though....i'm just glad to be back. Of course, i'm going to start on my journey again in a few days; can't become a Gym Leader if i'm sitting around in a fancy hotel, now can I?"
Aeon was not paying any attention to the conversation between the humans, he was too busy hiding his head under the table cloth that drooped over the edge of the table. The poor Raichu was extremely shy around the female of his kind (due to a bad incident when he was younger). Right now, he just wanted to be up in the hotel room.....away from Faith......

Day twirled some pasta on her fork, trying to get the bite onto a spoon. She did not pay attention to the trainers who had just walked in. "I'm very hungry also. There wasn't really much to eat in my bag."
Faith sniffed around for Aeon after noticing his absence. She growled and jumped down from her chair, looking for the other Raichu. Her tail whipped around as she pushed herself through the long table cloth. She thought she smelled something down there, but wasn't sure.

"I'm sorry?" Kazuki asked more than apologized, his eyebrows raised. How was he supposed to know about her inability to navigate her own house? Oh well, it didn't matter. As they entered the dining room and the aroma of many different foods assaulted them, the trainer finally realized just how hungry he was as his stomach suddenly let out a loud rumble. Ignoring it for the moment he followed Luna to the buffet tables and set about stacking a large plate full of food. Lots of fish for Manami, a little bit (or a lot) of everything for himself, and a little bit of a lot of things for Ryou. He wasn't certain what the dark-type wanted, but he figured the creature wouldn't be too picky at the moment.
"Umbreon?" Ryou paused for a moment, flicking his ears. The golden ring around his forehead began to glow dark blue for several moments before returning to its normal color, and the dark-type trotted off to the side. He paused next to Kazuki and extended a paw, hesitantly batting until he found the trainer's leg, and once found he immediately set about swatting it firmly until the short teenager offered him a piece of ham from the plate. Taking the offered treat in his teeth the Umbreon trotted off in a random direction, ignoring the people around them. They'd either get bumped into or they'd move.

"I know! There's only so much of wild food and insta-meals one can take before going insane!" Laughing at the memories, she grabbed her knife and poked at the whole lobster she had grabbed off of the buffet table. Lowering her head so she was eye-level with the meal, Jen began to poke at it with a skeptical expression. "They say these are dead....but how do I know this won't jump up and grab my nose when I try and cut it?"
Aeon, on the other hand, was in turmoil. As Faith poked her head under the table, he had made a run for it by slipping under the tables behind where the trainers were sitting. FREEDOM! The female couldn't possibly- SMACK!
Poor guy......he wasn't watching where he was going......
Sitting up, Aeon had started to apologize when he noticed what pokemon he had run into: The golden circles....the blind eyes.....IT WAS THAT POKEMON! Bouncing to his feet, Aeon started to growling at the umbreon with sparks flying from his cheeks, "(YOU! HOW DARE YOU!!)"

Ooooh, ham... He hadn't had ham in years, not since he was an Eevee. The delighted Umbreon closed his eyes as he trotted along; he didn't need to see anyway, but he did know one thing. All he needed to do was find a nice secluded table (with a tablecloth, of course) and hide under there so he could enjoy his treat. But first, to find a table that--SMACK!
Ryou rolled over and jumped to his feet quickly, ears on the alert. He'd been so busy thinking about his ham he hadn't paid attention to the others around him. Quickly gulping down the piece of ham, regretting the fact that he couldn't savor the treat, the circle on his forehead began glowing blue. Electric-type, not too big... A Raichu, of course. The forehead circle returned to its normal golden glow as the Umbreon flicked an ear, not quite relaxing but not too worried, either. He recognized this Raichu as the same one that had tackled him in Inhinx, the same one that had smacked him in the face, the same one whose trainer he had possessed. Hehe, that was fun.
"(How dare I what?)" He asked, sitting on his haunches and flicking his tail. Honestly, what had he done wrong? Nothing. Today, anyway. "(How dare I eat? Eating food is kind of, you know, necessary. I didn't know it was against the rules or ethics to eat,)" the dark-type said sarcastically. Honestly, what in the world had he done? If anything, he should be mad at this Raichu for so rudely running into him. Wasn't he watching where he was going? He wasn't the one that was blind.

A vein twitched on his forehead as his whip-like tail thrashed violently back and forth at the statement; the Umbreon had just basicly called him an IDIOT!
As thunderbolt at the end of his tail began to glow a silver-white, Aeon snarled at the the dark-type pokemon standing ever-so-smug infront of him. "(How dare you take my trainer without so much as a single slice of remorse! She didn't deserve to be taken over!)" Crouching down on fours, he tensed himself to brace against the carpeted floor.

"(I don't care whether she deserved it or not,)" he said, his tail quickly whipping back and forth as a sign of his irritation, his golden-ringed ears pinning backwards against his skull. "(I would have taken over any human that had wandered into Inhinx, yours just happened to wander in first. All the same, what are you going to do about it? Last time I was defeated it took the efforts of nearly every pokemon in that little caravan.)" He lowered his head a bit, a low growl rumbling in his throat, and in an instant every ring on his body as well as his eyes blazed with a dark blue aura. "(You can't defeat me by yourself. I could possess you in an instant, but that wouldn't be as much fun.)"

A single snarl was the pokemon's only warning before Aeon spun around and used his Iron Tail technique on the opposing pokemon; several of the rich occupants of the hotel shrieked and bolted out of the way of the angry Raichu, knocking over tables and chairs in the process.
"(WHO SAYS I CAN'T BEAT YOU?! WELL?! Just because you are older than I doesn't make a difference in our strength!)" Fangs glittered in the light from the lamps hanging around them as Aeon pawed at the carpet beneath his paws. "(If my best friend believes in me, than I can beat anyone! EVEN YOU!)"

He didn't see the whip-like tail come slashing towards him. He only sensed the powerful attack before the Raichu unleashed it, and knew enough to turn and jump backwards, away from it, as quickly as possible. It barely missed him, but it was much too close for comfort. The Umbreon snarled, his normally milk-white eyes blazing a rich dark blue. "(Fool!)" He shouted, whipping his tail back and forth in his annoyance. Three small black dots appeared in front of him and began to spin around each other gracefully, slowly increasing in size. "(Age signifies experience, not strength! Whether you're stronger or not matters little, it's how you use your power that matters.)" As he stated the last few words, the three balls of pure energy, each about the size of a baseball, went hurtling towards Aeon as Ryou unleashed the shadow ball attack.
