Neo Princess Emeraude TM: I wonder if HB will ever return to the BPRD..in the comic verse. In the movie verse I wonder if they will do a third movie or not. Del Toro and Mignola want to do a third film. I do think that Hellboy will return to the bureau, if for no other reason than his friends haven't seen him in a while and there's the whole were-jaguar fiasco. Besides, he hasn't met Johann yet OR seen the Colorado base, and he doesn't know that poor Roger's dead.

I suspect that they will be a boy and a girl, but remember that they'll only be one quarter demon, so I think they'll split up the demonic traits- one will have horns, one will have a tail, etc.

Wings?! Nowhere in their ancestry are there wings. I doubt it.
Yeah, it's about time they got into Russian Folklore considering that one of the main villains in the series was Russian. I particularly liked the Domovoi. I never thought of Baba Yaga as being exclusively evil until HB. Before Darkness Calls, I had always wondered when the Baba Yaga would get her revenge.

TM: I do wonder what will happen next...I think Darkness calls is the latest one right? I wonder if the author is working on the next HB? I hope so. biggrin Oh and I keep thinking I am overlooking it...what Goddess are the baddies going to set free? Oh and I did not think Hecate was that bad..I guess HB must be focusing on her more darker legends or adding to it.

I'm fairly sure it isn't a goddess they're going to set free- it's a witch. But I'm not positive. Hecate WAS that bad, though. She's sort of the 'Serpent' of the HB universe. Mythically speaking, I've never heard of her being particularly evil or cruel, but because she's the goddess of the crossroads AND of witchcraft, she's an ideal stock villain. Although fictional to begin with, Mignola's done a lot to fictionalize her. If that makes any sense. Mignola has said that the Hellboy story is about halfway done. I was sad when I read about that, but I'll live because there's still Lobster Johnson, BPRD, and the Abe Sapien comics, so I'll live. The comic books that are coming out now are The Crooked Man miniseries. It's set before Hellboy quit his job and it's about Hellboy trying to help a guy get his soul back from the devil or something.

TWENTY NINE LINES TO MAKE YOU SMILE
1.. My husband and I divorced over religious differences. He thought he was God and I didn't. 2.. I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it. 3.. Some people are alive only because it's illegal to kill them. 4.. I used to have a handle on life, but it broke. 5.. Don't take life too seriously; No one gets out alive.
6.. You're just jealous because the voices only talk to me 7.. Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder. 8.. Earth is the insane asylum for the universe.
9.. I'm not a complete idiot -- Some parts are just missing. 10... Out of my mind. Back in five minutes.
11.. NyQuil, the stuffy, sneezy, why-the-heck-is-the-room-spinning medicine. 12.. God must love stupid people; He made so many. 13.. The gene pool could use a little chlorine. 14.. Consciousness: That annoying time between naps. 15.. Ever stop to think, and forget to start again?
16.. Being 'over the hill' is much better than being under it! 17.. Wrinkled Was Not One of the Things I Wanted to Be When I Grew up. 18 . Procrastinate Now!
19.. I Have a Degree in Liberal Arts; Do You Want Fries With That? 20.. A hangover is the wrath of grapes. 21.. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a cash advance.
22.. Stupidity is not a handicap. Park elsewhere! 23..They call it PMS because Mad Cow Disease was already taken. 24.. He who dies with the most toys is nonetheless DEAD.
25.. A picture is worth a thousand words, but it uses up three thousand times the memory.
26.. Ham and eggs...A day's work for a chicken, a lifetime commitment for a pig. 27.. The trouble with life is there's no background music.
28.. The original point and click interface was a Smith & Wesson. 29.. I smile because I don't know what the hell is going on.
Appreciate every single thing you have, especially your friends! Life is too short and friends are too few!

TM: I was kinda thinking that it would be the Morrigan since the Dadga was involved. Or Queen Maeve or Queen Mab the fairy queen. Any sound good to you?

I doubt The MorrĂgan on the basis that witchcraft isn't one of the things she represents. She'd be great for a short story though, and I'm glad you thought of The MorrĂgan because I certainly wouldn't have. As for Maeve, I know nothing. My knowledge of Mab is limited to Mercutio's painfully long speech about her.
It would be pretty cool if we finally got some Shakespeare in HB. Interestingly, I picked today to wear my WS shirt. It says, "Some are born great."

TM: The Morrigan is a triple war goddess though. Maeve was a Queen who went agains Cucullan I believe for a white bull. biggrin Oh and I while I looked them both up I came across another posibility altogether. Lilith! eek She is dark, scary, ancient and since the HB author mixes myths around why not her..she is supposedly Queen of the Damned and Demons I believe. twisted

Yes. Yes. Lilith. Yes. I hope to god you're right. In Judaism, she was Adam's first wife in the Garden of Eden. But she was evil and so forth, I don't remember the details... I'm not very well versed in Judaism.

TM: *looks up Lilith* She bore many demons and is like a succubus and associated with witches too I think. She is a very ancient diety with many other names and religions that associate with her..so she would be a good choice...she has also been know to steal young boys and men away too. eek Very interesting... twisted Of course the images of war that the giant sees, kinda makes me thing of a war diety though Lilith would be so very cool...she ensnares men with her beauty....I wonder how HB could resist her? twisted
