during the summer me and some other guys and another section leader in the section jumped on the roof of our section leader's SUV and he drove around while we were on top of it good times it was scary and people were honking their horns at us
we earned the craziest section title (trumpet section)

well, it wasn't really something the SECTION did, but it was really funny.
i was laying on the grass with muh shades on, and one arm draped over face, and one knee pointed in the air, and well. I was raped by the lesbian in our section. I just layed there. I was like "whatever". but our section leader, vickie, was like "CONCKY! GET-OFF-OF CAMMY!!!" it was funny. after that, a few days later, our BD went off on this lecture about public displays of affection.....

right before the graduation ceremony (had to play cheesy graduation song), me and my friend were having sword fight with drum sticks. As we were playing, both of our stick went flying in the air..nearly hitting our band director.
Good thing: we didn't get into trouble. i'm still thankful toward my band director.
Bad thing: Drum sticks were spilit into half. Had to pay for that. xp

Where do i start XDDD ok this is from 7th-8th grade keep that in mind
-playing the man parts game XDD (yelling "pen"...you know the rest really loud)
-stabbing each other with flutes
-making the "worlds longest flute"
-playing octives higher or lower
-playing the mcdonalds theme (badabahbabaaaa im loving it)
-not playing our instruments at all and faking it
-playing scales during a song
-swtiching instruments with each other
-pulling the foot joint off and playing
-playing different songs in the middle of songs
-elbowing each other then playing flute wars
-swtiching mouth peices (ew i know)
-messing with the mouth peices
-balancing our flutes on what ever
-using flutes to poke people far away from us
-swtiching flutes between each other during class
-pretending to stick flutes up peoples butts (yeah nasty i know)
-hitting people with out flutes
-hiding out flutes up out sleeves
-hitting each other with cases/ having case wars in which i cheat and take the bari-sax's case and charge at them XDD
- trying to switch different peices of flutes and failing
-pretending to make out with the flute

I dunno about our section, but the drumline mooned the whole band including the BD. The flutes vandalized the pit room by putting pink and black streamers everywhere.

I was in low brass last year in marching band, and while most of us were...relatively normal, the best peeps were the sousaphones. They were insane--except for one of them, and she suffered for it. xd Anyways, one of our songs, Late in the Evening, had a part where all the band did a stupid little visual, but they begged our instuctor to let them do the Blood Elf dance during that song. It was so cool.

once we had a sub for our Bd and it was a regular English teacher. the trumpet section sat were the flutes are supposed to be and pretty much deafened our sub.
it was fun xp

Oh geez...do I have many more to share with you!
So...we passed Instant Replay time already! Ugh, I listened to the CD and it was terrible this year. D:
anyways, my sectionmates and I were up to our usual crazy shenanigans. Before Instant Replay we had another one of our Wii parties in the tuba room, and Melanie was declared reigning Wii tennis champion for that concert.
For the holiday concert and christmas break, it looks like christmas exploded in the tuba room. We set up a tree, with a tinfoil sousaphone for a topper of course. And there's tinsel and lights wrapped around the sousaphone racks. :]
Before the holiday concert, we changed it up a bit, and had an N64 party instead, and before pep band that same week, we had a marathon two-hour game of UNO.
I gotta say though, it still doesn't quite compare to last year's stuff. xDD

my band year practically sucked..
when the last marching show came, the seniors were depressed, but it was pretty awesome for a freshman like me..hell i was relieved...
So, anyway..don't you hate it when you pee in your pants when you're about to march the show? thank God! the casual uniform pantcolor is black..otherwise, the only black spot on my "jeans" wouldve been around the a** area.
This is how my marching season went:
i, when i phased from b-squad to a-squard, didnt know where to go for the first two an' a half shows of the whole marching show...[percussion director helped me out there
a few percussion[ers] forgot their sticks in a compition, i think? and it was a pretty big last show
well, for the flutes, one girl's flute part thingy came off the end [have NO idea what that thing was called and i thought it was my hat that fell, then i got yelled at by the OTHER saxophonist who was standing to my left..
that's pretty much all i can remember.
OH! then, when we had our christmas concert, the frenchhorns decorated theirs with christmas lights and it was a colorful, christmasy concert smile
thats all i got...help me out with better ideas for next year ;3

haha...
during one of our concerts this year, my section (low woodwinds and low brass. small band.) we put colanders full of confetti in the tuba's bells, so, when we (im a contra. i play tuba music) came in on the last song, confetti fleww all over our section!!! it was awesome! i wish we had pictures... sad but, the memories will last forever. ninja

Oh my; so much happened this year. My section (which is the flutes) and the saxophone section usually take up the back of the bus. We throw these tiny raves and it's pretty entertaining. Well on our last competition (we missed finals by 0.09 points; which sucked) we got a police escort to the high school. I decided to tell two of the saxophones that sit near me to play freeze out. We all put our windows down and they started to strip down to their boxers. The funny thing was when they were about to take their boxers off; the lights came on and they scrambled to pull on their clothes. The bad thing was they were both guys and they were sitting by each other; so the whole woodwind section saw two guys naked in a seat.
We were on our way home from a competition one night and were taking the back roads. My friend (our section leader) and I were sitting next to each other and were talking about how funny it would be if a murderer came out in the middle of the road and all that good stuff. Well we were basically the only vehicle on the road and we soon had a burning rubber smell fill the bus. (Quick note; me and my friend plus two other friends had the two back seats over the wheels.) About 10 minutes later; we pull off on an exit by a gas station and smoke began to rise from the two tires. After 15-20 minutes sitting on the bus; our band director ran onto the bus and yelled at us to get off. We walked out of the lights of the gas station only to see the two back tires with sparks coming from them. About 15 minutes later; the back tires blew and the back of the bus was charred. We blamed the whole thing on my two friends in the other seat.
I guess those two weren't really about my section; but they were crazy things that happened this year for the woodwind section.

Hm, hard to think of weird things.
Not my section, but this is what happened when we went to the Grand Canyon in eighth grade. We had suites at the hotel we were staying at, but the suites were pretty much for 4-5 people and we had somewehre between 6-8(I have aheadache so you can count yourselfXD) We weren't allowed to be with the opposite gender, we couldn't share beds with anybody, and nbody was allowed to sleep in the bathtub.(numbers are people) These are from normal to weirdest.
1: Bed
2: Other bed
3: couch bed9pull out)
4: rocking chair(pretty cramped for themXD)
5: couch cushions on the flor(*raises hand*)
6; floor at the foot of the beds
7: under the table
8: on top of the table(?????)
my friends are pretty weirdXD I woke up between two cushions, like a wedge. and 4 ended up on the coffee table somehow.
We had an eglish teahcer(the worst one at our school. she is in running for worst teacher of the year with a terrible math teacher) for a sub a while back, and she gave us this random music quiz that I failed with a 2 out of 11. Luckily, it was just because she was asked to sub on the spur of the moment, so there were no plans or anything.
I played without my bell on accident once. Then my freidn decided to d it on purpose when the teacher told me to put it back. he got confusedXD

We play strip Rock Paper Scissors on the bus, and it's a sausage fest. Two girls awake, and they're just watching. 5 guys getting down to 1 shirt and boxers... (because it was 15 degrees outside.)
Lit only by cell phones, because the bus driver is watching the road and the band director is asleep.
Yelling metal lyrics to each other.
Flipping each other off.
d**k jokes, vagillions of them.
Losing the game.
Talking in front of other sections about how much better we can play their parts. (No joke, I do this sometimes. I play trombone, baritone, tuba, trumpet and mellophone, and can play all 5 really well. And I know every brass part from this year's show.)
Talking loudly about how much we want to ******** our section leader (she's the only girl in the section of men.)
Talking about how much of a whore Matt's ex-girlfriend is.
