Entry Twenty-Seven: Halloween? Colhoii-mura??
Jiro's Crash Course on Halloween and the Kuulatris holidays

People were definately acting oddly, was the main thought going through Jiro's head as he wandered out of his room on the third floor and headed down towards the kitchen. Something different was going on.. he could sense it. Shouhin was a bit too happy over something and was humming to himself, singing how he was going to get a bunch of candy. Yuhin was cooking away in the kitchen, happy as he always was. But it wasn't the same. Jiro didn't know what that meant, but it was somethng. There was a vibe that was... well to the darker half of him familiar.. to his normal half.. strange. As he stepped off the last step to the main lobby, he ran into Akiya, who had finished his breakfast already and seemed to be heading towards his office. A smile came to the male as he bent down and scooped up his son, giving him a warm hug. "Morning, Jiro! What's up? You have this 'something is going on but I dun get it' look about you."

It always amused the Tale how Akiya's mind worked. Sometimes, he could be rather dense and he was never sure if he was truly not understanding something or if he was doing it for some other reason. And other times, he's too sharp for his own good. It was one way or the other with him, never something inbetween. "That would probably be because that's the look I have. What's going on? Yuhin's cooking a lot, you're happy about candy consumption and even Kali looks like he's getting into the spirit of something. So... spill it. What's going on?"

Ah, so that was it. Smirking, Akiya took him up to his office with him and plunked him down in the little beanbag chair he had ready for him. Jiro always liked to be in there, for some reason, so he just got the chair for him. It was really no big deal. "Well, two holidays are going to be happening. One is called Halloween, which is a human tradition where young kids, and sometimes adults, dress up in costumes and go around getting candy and things like that. It's a fun holiday because everyone has fun... and gets into the spirit of ghosts and spirits and such. It comes from Ol Hallows Eve, which is something I normally celebrate... but that's something all together."

Jiro's brows drew together and he frowned a bit. "Lemme get this straight... people give up candy... for free?"

"Heh yeah, to people who dress up. You can be anything. A pirate, a ghost, a witch, a vampire... anything you can think up and dress up as, you can." He could tell Jiro rather liked the idea of getting free candy. "I was thinking of taking my kids and you and Luc, of course, to the human world so you can see what I mean. We'll all dress up... well all right, you might not have to cause people'll think you're dressed up already and go get some candy. It'll be tons of fun." Once Akiya got into the groove about something, it was hard to get him out of it and this was no exception. Even though he wasn't a huge fan of humans either, he did know everything about the world and he felt it best that they knew about them anyway. It didn't hurt to have extra knowledge. "Besides, I need to go into the human realm anyway to go visit some friends who are there. And give Skye an update on things here."

Jiro knew who Skye was, the youngest Gatekeeper to be born into the Enclave. He thought they were all nifty.. well what they did. Most of the actual Gatekeepers were old, wrinkly bastards who had nothing better to do than be bitchy at Skye for messing up.. even if it's ever so slightly. Jiro chalked it up to jealousy because he was the only son and heir of the Head to the Enclave and he was actually allowed to make a human into one of them because he had fallen in love. Something that was really not allowed. From what Akiya had told him, after much prodding, it had been a rather ugly affair for awhile.. but things had settled down now. "So what is the other one? Colhoii-mura or.. whatever."

"Ah now this is a holiday I'm getting used to myself. Colhoii-mura is the Kuulatris version of the holiday, but they celebrate it on the day of the Halloween, the 31th of October, but they continue it through all of November. I still need to learn the name of the months here heh... but I don't know exactly what they do cause I'm usually gone through this celebration. This is the first time I'll be home for it heh." So the angel was really looking forward to this to be honest. "Sooner or later, I'll be able to tell you more. But it's best not to ask Sah... he says the best way to learn about a holiday is to watch one in progress." Jiro snickered this time cause it was rather true. The main reason he wanted to know about Colhoii-mura is because this is the first time he had ever seen Kalhali without a book in hand. It was.. really strange. But if he was stopped and asked about it, he shrugged and said it was that time of year and he needed to pay attention to what was going on around him. Which was always strange to hear from him. However, all this did was make Jiro more excited, so he continued to ask Akiya about the human holiday and that's how he passed his day, breakfast long forgotten.

Huni Pi
Quest Time
About time isn't it? Jiro's development has gone swimmingly, and now the moment for him to grow is at hand. Of course he still needs some things to help him reach this critical stage. This quest has two parts, the first is to enhance Jiro's knowledge and skills, he needs at least five books of any topic he desires and a few weapons or so wouldn't hurt (at least not Jiro that's for sure).

The second part of his quest is of course to help him make alliances and friends. He needs a minimum of two playdates, one with a Tale he doesn't know at all, and another with a Tale who he knows very well.

The items can be made, bought, or given, and the PD's may be done in thread, over AIM/YM/MSN, or in the guild. However you go about it, it must be documented in the Tome (or provide a link to the thread). Good luck!

Entry Twenty-Eight: Sharp and pointy things?! Really!? >3
Jiro's Plot of World Domination IE: He gets new weapons

Soft humming could be heard in the back bedroom on the third floor, broken at times with loud coos and squeals of 'Candah! Candah!" which meant it was only one person. Sah, mainly because he always had his little baby Tanja at his side. Currently, the two were rolling about on the bed, the four month old doing his best to pounce onto his Yuhin, squealing as he missed just barely and flopped onto the bed. Sah was trying to control his giggles as he helped the little imp up so he could try again. "Bun-zaawwwh!!" Tanja made it this time and clung to locks of Sah's hair, cheering madly as he wiggled his little diapered bum. "Huwwah! Huwwah!! Tanja win!"

Still laughing, Sah picked him up and cuddled him close, rubbing their noses together. "Oh yes, you so win! My Tanja's such a mighty warrior!" Another set of chuckles made him glance back to the door, watching Akiya enter their bedroom, carrying a couple of boxes. "Hey! Where have you been?"

"Buying Frenztaa gifts for everyone. But two of Jiro's new weapons came in so I picked them up. I also grabbed some new potions and such for him too.. you know as well as I do that he'll need them..." Setting down the boxes, he caught Tanja as the boy wobbled and then risked a blind leap into his Shouhin's arms, cooing at him. Out of all their children together, Tanja took after Sah for once, since the other three took more after Akiya. His duel set of angelic wings fluttered as he planted a sloppy kiss to his cheek as soon as he could and clung to him. "He's hyper today! You didn't give him any sugar, did you?"

Sah huffed before he snorted. "Like I want him zooming around the house! Nah, he just got a little bit of spiced cider. And he slept really well last night so he's happy." Fixing one of the bows on the boxes, he collected them himself. "I'll find Jiro and hand them over. It seems Tanja wants to play with you right now." And since it was Akiya's turn, he didn't complain and only waved as Sah left with his new bundle of goodness and went in search of Jiro.

It took a bit to find the boy, but the second he heard soft instrumental music, he knew just what he was doing. Using a bit of wind ability to open the door, he caught the swirl of red, black and gold silk and smiled. It was something Jiro did every now and again, and if the others knew of this habit, he might be called girly so no one was allowed to know about it. Jiro had mastered the dangerous but undenibly beautiful art of blade dancing. Well.. let's rephrase. He hasn't completely mastered it but he was getting pretty damn good at it. Not wanting to stop him, Sah found a corner to sit in and settled down to watch the graceful movements of not only his hands and feet, but his clothing and even his hair.

Jiro knew he was there, since he would know Sah's comforting smell anywhere and his eyes opened a bit to look over at him. He knew that his Yuhim, of all people, wouldn't try to get him to stop so he went back into his lull of the music and finished the dance. Blushing a bit as Sah applauded him afterwards, he put his blades away before he went over and settled down next to him, his hair coiling around both of them. "What's up, Yuhin?" Normally, Sah would knock before he entered, unless he needed to talk to him about something or it was important. Now what Jiro considered important and what Sah deemed important was always a matter of debate, but he knew that it was something important.

"I have presents for you, my son!" Sah beamed happily as he handed over a big box first, one that had been artfully wrapped with a felt bow settled over the top.

"It's not Frenztaa yet, though.. should I be getting gifts now?" From what he understood about Frenztaa, it was this race's version of Christmas. A two month long Christmas that was filled with tons of present giving and huge feasts. But it was still in the midst of Colhoii-mura, right? So.. this was a good or bad thing? Sah seemed to understand his confusion, if how he covered his giggle meant anything.

"Don't worry about it! You get gifts during Colhoii-mura as well, so think about it that way, neh? Here. Open this one." Jiro could never say no to presents - especially since he was so picky about what he liked, he knew that if he was given something, it would be things he wanted - he easily tore through the paper and opened it carefully. His eyes widened at the sight that greeted him, his face now reflecting with the glow emanating from the three bottles there. His fingers gripped a green one and pulled it out.

"Awesome! ... what do they do?" He took the other two out and set them down, studying them with a delighted glint to his eyes. "Thank you soo much, Yuhin!!"

"From what your Shouhin told me, the green one is death potion, the more clear one is resurrection and the more blue hued one is healing. Only a few drops should do it of either, so be very careful with them, all right?" He stroked his son's hair lovingly, watching the delight that was on his face. Since Jiro was always trying his best to stay as closed off as possible, it was always a blessing to see him this unguarded and happy. "You have two more gifts, love. You wanna see them?" As Jiro straightened up again, he handed over two long boxes, one rather flat and the other oddly shaped. The small boy's brow jacked up as he took the oddly shaped one first and opened it. Sah knew he was pleased because his entire aura spoke of wicked intent, which he only did when he had his weapons around.

User Image

"Now please remember what we spoke to you about before, Jiro. Be very careful with these.. you know how much damage real weapons can do if you're not careful..." His eyes flicked over to his arms, which were scarred from all the times he slipped up and lost concentration. Sah and Akiya had another worry but they knew Jiro was aware of it so they didn't press it. For some reason, they felt that Jiro would be growing soon.. and his other half might try something.. so they were a bit worried.

"I know, Yuhin. I will be really careful, I promise!" So pleased with the ball and chain, he took up the not so oddly shaped one and gasped. Jiro's first love was swords. Always had been and always would be. "So beautiful..."

User Image

The two shared a tender moment as Jiro threw his arms around Sah and clung to him, chanting thank yous and Sah just smiling and hugging him back. From the still open doorway, Akiya made sure Tanja didn't say anything to alert them to their presence. It was too nice of a moment to ruin.

Entry Thirty: Bent Nails
jiro and Khia's attempt at making a shelf..

Khia: *is outside his home, with a pile of lumber a hammer, and nails* Ow, goddammit! *grumbles, his hair is a mess, sticking up everywhere, and the wife beater style shirt he was wearing is no longer white - but dingy from wood chaff, sweat, and ..is that oil?* =_=

Jiro: *He used his locket in order to teleport over to the Sanctuary in order to see Khia. He actually arrived in time to hear him say goddammit and he wondered what was up. His hair was semi loose, more like pulled into a very thick ponytail as he hurried over to his side. Well it wasn't everyday he saw Khia in such a state and he playfully leaned against his back* Oooh seems like somethings pissing you off. What's wrong?

Khia: *The shapeshifter's tail thumped a bit; Jiro's arrival served as a pleasant distraction - one that kept him from getting overly frustrated at that moment.* Trying to build shelves for all my stuff... *he shook his behorned head wryly* Seems my flesh is much easier to shape than wood....

Jiro: Heh ivory is harder, man. Trust me... *He rubbed his back a bit, wondering how long the shapeshifter had been at it to look so beragged before he moved over to sit next to him, tilting his head to the side* Need any help? I've never tried this, mind, but Shouhin says that sometimes it's best with two people instead of one.. and you looked set to throw things instead of build hehe

Khia: Yeah...well... *he rubbed the back of his neck a bit and nodded* Maybe...I'm about to give up...but maybe... Two heads are better than one. *his tail flicked a bit as he glanced at the pile of lumber; and the half put together shelf*

Jiro: *Snickering, though he tried to keep it under wraps because it had to be frustrating, he reached up and patted the top of his head* Are there instructions or are we just doing this however? *He looked at the lumber pile and then looked for an extra hammer* This shouldn't be hard.... well together.. we hope, neh?

Khia: 'Ren designed it for me...so I've got instructions...but...I really suck at this. *glowers at the wood and bent nails before offering the red headed imp the instructions that his older brother had drawn up for him*

Jiro: *Grinning 'innocently' at him, he took the instructions and looked them over. Great! They were in pictures! If there were words to it, he would have been a bit screwed. He was still trying to learn how to read English* Um... *his eyes had noticed the bent nails* Is it good that they're bent like that?

Khia: Yeah... *gives the red head the closest thing to a grin he can with that twisted muzzle of his* 'Ren got really used to doing that for me...'cause I couldn't read so well before... He just hasn't gotten used to me being older. *his tail twitched* Ah..no. I just couldn't get 'em to go in right...

Jiro: *He was still highly amused by the entire thing, nodding a few times at his explanation* Who could he not be used to your older? I mean.. it's not like you can suddenly shrink back to being small... *He looked baffled* Ooh... well then let's do our best to get this right, okay? And if more get bent in the process, then more must be bent! >3

Khia: I think he got used to having a short little brother or something...and I grew up before he knew it. *his ears went forward, and then back* Parents and sibs seem to have issues with stuff like that. *khia blinked his crimson eyes a bit, then shrugged and set about trying to nail two crosspieces together without breaking a bone, or hitting Jiro*

Jiro: huh... I don't have that problem.. all my sibs are bigger than me. Except Tanja, but he's a baby. Even Luc is bigger than I am.. *His wings flicked a couple of times in thought before he held the two boards he was hammering in place, going slightly cross eyed as the vibrations shot up his small body*

khiarhu: Khia: Trust me, when you grow...they're all gonna have a hard time adjusting... *when the nails went in properly for once, he stopped hammering, startled* What the...huh...guess it does work better with help.... *he chuckled and hammered the nails home, then wagged his tail* Thanks Jiro...

Jiro: I guess so.. I hope I'm not all giant like tall or anything. That'd be scary, ya know? *He blinked as they went in as they should and Khia stopped in amazement. Oh.. so this was a good thing? He beamed as he said that* No problem! What are friends for?

Khia: Don't wanna be tall like me, eh? *ruffles the boy's head feathers gently with one big, densely furred hand* It's kinda interesting to see how people grow...I didn't think Linny'd be so tall when he grew...but he was...

Jiro: well.. no that would be weird *He gave him a funny look at that before he snickered* Maybe up to your shoulders or something. That would be nifty... *His wings fluttered happily at the ruffling, liking it for some reason* Yeah.. I heard he was tall now...

Khia: *tilts his head a bit* That'd be a long way to grow kiddo...It took me two tries to get this tall. *but of course, no one knew how things would end up when one grew...the Tome's magic was highly unpredictable. Some Tales "aged" faster...some looked youthful for a long time...it was totally random.* doesn't matter to me if you stay small, I'm still gonna visit you.

Jiro: Well yeah.... but I mean there's more than one growing period. I doubt I'll be a kid forever *He gave a tiny shrug before he looked more thoughtful about his own growth. He wondered how that would go, to be honest...* Good. I would hate for you to stop visiting me.. I'll haunt you *His grin was evil*

Khia: I should hope not! Tome's pretty weird...but yeah. *wags his tail a little, though he's not a dog at all* Heh,I don't think I'd mind - you're fun. Being haunted by you wouldn't be too bad. And you're handy with my projects, it seems...

Jiro: Yeah Tome's pretty damn weird.. gave us some.. interesting Tales.. *Hr rolled his eyes a bit before he held up the next few planks of wood for him to hammer into place, the nails not bending this time* Yeah, I'll make your hot water trn icy cold.. and throw plates at your head.. stuff like that *There was no way he could help his laughter at that* Well I'm glad I could help X3

Khia: How about we not do that, I'm not overly fond of cold water...doesn't bother me TOO much... *hefts the hammer and starts on the next piece - he didn't clarify that he wouldnt be bothered too bad by the cold water 'caue of his furr, it wasn't really needed*

Jiro: *Snickering, he nodded in agreement to not doing that to him because he wouldn't really.. though the plate thing still sounded like fun to do.. least to him. *He didn't need to clarify that because he did know it by now. If he didn't there was something seriously wrong with him* Neh you wanna come over for dinner or something?

Khia: *there was a rather amused undertone to the shapeshifter's coat, something that most wouldn't catch...but then - most didn't bother trying* Dinner? *his ears perked up at that, and his stomach made the most horrible rumbling sound right then* Ah...yeah..you sure that's okay?

Jiro: *Oh he knew he had his attention when he noticed that flicker of color. Like he didn't know that food was Khia's main weakness. He could be half asleep or something but once food was mentioned, he was up like a light* It's so not a problem! I though Yuhin made it clear that you're welcome anytime, ya goober!

Khia: *stops nailing wood together and rubs the back of his mussy head* yeah...but...I eat so much...I always feel kinda bad... And I know he makes enough to feed three armies...but still. I eat about half of it.

Jiro: So? He's happy that he doesn't have to find places to put the leftovers! Trust me, you've made him a very happy man *He smirked as he watched him rub the back of his head* You want me to brush your hair or something? Cause it's sticking out everywhere.. what'd ya do to it? Try to rip it out or something? Or did you roll around int he dirt before you started working?

Khia: Is it? *he frowned and blinked a bit - he'd been at this...building thing for like...four hours, and to no avail, until Jiro came along* Yeah...sorta...a little of both? *his coat rippled and had a "sheepish" tint to it*

Jiro: When I came over here and saw you, it looked like you stuck a pitck fork into a lightsocket and held on for dear life.. *The smile on his face was gentle because he was only teasing his friend about it* Well I'm glad I came along when I did. I was going to ask you to come hunting with me but this building stuff is rather fun... *He played with his tail a bit before he looked up at him again* So did you want me to fix it?

Khia: Hey, c'mon, that's mean. *he flicked his thick heavy tail and thumped it onto Jiro in retaliation for the lightsocket comment* Yeah, could you?

Jiro: I was just kidding! *A pout formed on his face as he rubbed at an ear* Okay okay I'm sorry.. but it did look like you ripped through it a few times.. and your shirt's covered in oil.. do I wanna ask about the oil? *He always carried a brush on him because he tended to need one more often than not. Pulling it out, he reached for Khia's metal bands and took them off so he could brush it properly* It's not a problem

Khia: No, you really don't wanna ask about the oil. *he shook his head a bit, the long strands loose and free when not attached to the metal bands* Heh...it's fine, I know... *he chuckled a bit, his nose wrinkling up a bit as he laughed; he knew Jiro had just been teasing*

Jiro: oooooohkay, then no asking will come from me *now he really didn't want to know. Just what the hell was Khia plotting this time? Humming lightly to himself, he worked on brushing out all of his tangles. It was just something he liked to do for him, just like Khia braided and brushed his hair too.* So how have you been lately? Other than building things? it's been awhile since I've seen ya...

Entry Thirty-One: Training Begins
Jiro starts his lesson with Master Dusk

The day had started off rather well, Jiro had gotten to sleep in for once and his mood seemed to be a lot better than usual. Probably because he had gotten to see Khia the day before or something. Least that was the only thing Akiya could think of as he led the calm boy into Pygin Homegrounds. Today, Jiro would get a one on one lesson with one of his other idols, Dusk of Pygin.

Since Dusk had heard about how Jiro liked weapons and trained all the time, he offered his own services. And since he knew all sorts of fighting styles, since he had been in the Pygin/Isshina war, it would be best to learn from him. It was rather warm in this Homegrounds, quite naturally and jiro was thankful he wasn't decked out in one of his typical, thicker outfits. Today he was going for something a lot lighter and easier to move around in. Though, he didn't know what to expect so he was rather excited.

When the two reached the house, Akiya rapped on the door to see if Dusk or one of his two mates were home.

The door to the massive house slowly opened, revealing a tall, imposing figure. The man was tall, his hair flaming red and cut close to his head though it was silky soft in appearance. His crimson eyes looked down at Jiro before the briefest of approving smiles flitted across his firm lips. "You're right on time, Jiro. I believe in punctuality. Come on in. We'll go work out in the garden today since I want your lesson to be private, where everyone in the world doesn't get a chance to gawk at you and ruin your focus. You left your weapons at home this time, correct?"

((Since this is a shop mule, I, purrasha, am using it to RP with Zy, since I can't wait to be admitted into the guild! XD))

Jiro was quiet, only bowing in respect to the much older man as he would anyone he respected. Inside, though, he was giddy with eagerness. If he was going to be taught by him, that meant he would get better if nothing else! And he would teach him about other weapons in general! Shouhin had told him that if anyone knew how to inflict the most mount of damage from any weapon, it was Dusk, hands down. "Thank you very much for taking the time out to teach me..." His hair was tugged firmly into a bun that was wrapped up in a weighed bao to help him train his neck to be stronger. Looking up at Akiya and getting a nod to just go ahead, he headed inside his home. Dusk was rather tall... a lot of the important semes around this place were so damn tall! "Yes, I left all of my weapons at home this time, as you instructed..."

The Pygin's eyes gleamed with approval and he nodded at Akiya, letting him know it would be fine to leave Jiro with him. "Thank you for bringing him here, Zy. I'll take care of him." Turning, he ushered the small boy into his garden, a wide sprawling expanse of green with soft flowers ringing the boundaries, the touch of one his mates, Pearl. "When you are here, you will listen implicitly to whatever I have to say and not question it. If I feel you need a reason, I will give it to you. But you will need to obey everything to get the best training possile for you. I will not do anything to harm youthough some things may seem painful to you at first. Do you understand?" He had knelt in front of Jiro, making sure to keep direct eye contact with him, a sign of respect from the Pygin General.

Zy knew and trusted Dusk well so he only grinned and waved before he headed off, saying to have Pearl send him a summons when it was time to come collect him. Jiro needed to learn more and now it was time for him to not be alone in it.

Bi-colored eyes looked all around the huge house with a curious glint. So this was the imfamous Duskling house... so many awesome things! The garden was beautiful, he had to admit and he was caught up in its loveliness when Dusk spoke to him, causing his focus to instantly snap back to the man. Seriousness swept over him as he nodded, understanding completely. It was time to train and he was used to pain. "Yes, Dusk-sensei. I understand completely. Please teach me."

"Tell Sah we'll feed him lunch as well!" He waved Zy off before turning back to his charge.

"First, I'm going to tell you why I chose to give you lessons. As you might know, I train the teens of all our breeds, from Amouho to Zyukori. I can sense you are maturing and I have seen your skill with the weapons you currently wield. However, to be proficient, even expert, in only one weapon or style of fighting is like signing your own death warrent. Anyone who discovers your strength can make it your weakness and that would be a hsame for you. I cannot train you with the others because you are not of our breeds and your skills and strengths are not the same as theirs. It would short-change you to class you with them. Therefore, I am going to train you ina few more styles and weapon classes to give you some variety. So, in order to train you properly, I want to see what your body can do first." He pointed to several trees, about a dozen of them, each of differing height and width, some with low branches, some with thin ones and placed a good distance from each other. "I want you to make a circuit of those trees, but you are not allowed to touch the ground with your feet at all. GO!"

Jiro watched his Shouhin leave him there, knowing that he wasn't in any danger. Well, he was, but not from Dusk trying to purposely hurt him or anything. His eyes showed how grateful he was for this chance to learn something new and he nodded after his explanation. it did make a lot of sense, especially since he wasn't a Kuulatris and therefore, would be nothing like them. "I want to learn more weapons. I train with a sword and a staff for right now. I find that trying more weapons is a lot more fun and gives one additional abilities as well.." He only spoke after Dusk had finished speaking because it was rude to speak in the midst of a lesson.

When given his order, he looked over at the trees he had pointed to. Well.. this was going to be very interesting. "Hai!" Taking off towards it, running as fast as his small legs allowed, he leapt up and managed to grab a low hanging branch and swing himself up onto it. This was a new lesson for him so he wasn't incredibly fast. He even slipped a few times, but he had fast enough reflexes to grab onto anything that would provide him a good foothold, even using his chopsticks a couple of times in order to keep him up and not touch the ground. By the time he made a complete circuit, he was panting a little bit, but he had a huge smile on his face. That was cool! He needed to practice a lot more to become good at it.

He nodded in agreement with Jiro, pleasantly surprised by the younger boy's insight at such an early age. Well, Zy had warned him that Jiro wasn't a typical child and he was glad to see that it was the truth.

He watched him set off on his assigned task with piercing eyes, noting every slight fumble, but also every ingenious use or method, nodding his head at times at a particularly well-done maneuver. Jiro indeed had lots of promise. He was glad he had chosen to tender his offer to Jiro and Zy. When Jiro rejoined him, he said nothing but tosseda towel at him to wipe off with and then gestured to several weapons laid out on a marble bench. "Here is the pride of several Zyukori metal and weaponsmiths. I am going to train you in all of them, though you might only continue your studies in one or two more of these but you will learn to be at least proficient in each by the time I am done with you." He then smiled as he let Jiro look the exotic weapons over. "You did very well, Jiro. You think fast on your feet and though you broke no speed records, this was an admirable first run for you."

Taking the towel gratefully, he wiped off his face and the back of his neck as he rejoined him. He did know that he hadn't broken any records and that hadn't been his point, or else Dusk would have just asked it of him. The point was to get through it once and he had managed that.

But his eyes lit up as he took in the weapons he had set up for his training. They were all so damn awesome and he had to keep himself in place and not go running over to them like he wanted to. He seriously loved weapons. All sorts, he wasn't overly picky, though he did have an ultimate fave.. or two. "I am honored to have such a wide choice of weapons to learn from!" Trying not to squee as he looked them all over, he looked up at Dusk when he said he did a good job and bowed even more deeply. "Thank you, sensei!!"

Arrayed on a velvet cloth spread over the bench were over a dozen weapons, each gleaming with care. "I will describe them to you and let you know how to use each of these." Pointing to two metal circles with several cutting protrusions on the edge and a leather grip on the inside of one part of the circle, he hefted them up and then twirled them quickly, the two circles spinning madly in a deadly arc. Spinning suddenly, he let one of them flash outward, slicing into a leaf and cutting it into it perfectly, with none of the ragged edges one would expect from such a weapon. "These are known as slashing wheels. Become expert in these and you can kill someone without them blinking or knowing they're dead for over a minute. You can also do it without leaving practically any marks or making them bleed...unless they're touched afterward. There are also different types of these wheels and if you lean towards these, I will let you use the others as well." He handed them over silently, trusting Jiro to not be careless with them. That was one of the things that had drawn him to the youth, his reverence and loving maintenance of his weapons.

His eyes were glowing in happiness and eagerness as he explained what the two metallic half circles were and what they did. His eyes showed a deep evil intent at the thought of slashing through someone without leaving a mark as he carefully took hold of each one in a wrapped hand. They weren't too heavy either, which was rather nice. Hefting them carefully, he looked them over with a critical eye. There was only one place to properly hold them and the rest were so jagged.. this was something he had to concentrate completely on or else he would kill himself instead of anyone else.

Since he practiced spinning things with his chopsticks, he gave one of the wheels a careful spin. Just to see if he could. It was much slower going and he almost nicked himself but he made a couple of circles without any harm to himself. The slow grin that developed on his face said it all. He would want to learn about these a lot more as well. "Wicked...."

He chuckled softly at Jiro's eagerness because it reminded him of his own when he was first introduced to the world of weaponry. It wasn't to say that he didn't like hand-to-hand fighting, which he was equally good at, but there was something about making something so beautifully deadly an extension of one's self and bonding with it completely. "I take it you like them? But don't let those cloud your mind., There are still many more types."

He pointed to a set of clubs with small handles set at right angles at the middle. "These are known as tonfa. Unlike the human versions, these are made from steelwood trees in the Isshina lands. They're light, like hollowed out bamboo but when they hit...you could shatter a man's bones quite easily. These won't cause bloodshed externally, but you could cause internal bleeding, another way of hiding a fight. And if you learn pressure points, which I can and will show you, you could eradicate someone with just one blow."

When Akiya had told him about Dusk a few weeks after he had been brought to this place, he had always found him fascinating. Someone who was good at weapons and hand to hand, who had fought in a war.. nevermind that he hadn't really wanted to be in it at all... but continued to teach. He had decided a long while ago that if he was going to be taught, he wanted that man to do it. So to actually be in his presence was an incredible honor to the Tale. "I do like them.. but I want to learn about the others as well."

Setting the wheels back down carefully, he moved over to the tonfa and studied them. Break a man's bones without leaving a mark? And causing internal bleeding?! Oh hell yeah, sign me up! He had to pause a moment and place a hand onto his head. The Other side of him was getting a bit too excited at the thought of destroying a person with a single blow and he had to force him back before he could continue. This was more for him to learn than anything else. Mastering weapons wasn't just about the body to Jiro. It was also about strengthening his concentration and his own self control. He would show the Other that he was the one strong enough to handle this body. "You'll teach me pressure points? Like how to put people to sleep as well?"

"Always keep an open mind. Though there are formal weapons, like these, anything and everything around you can be made into a weapon, including your own body and your opponent's body. Never let yourself be bound in the narrow definitions the world gives you." He smiled, seeing how carefully he put down the slashing wheels and picked up the tonfa. He would make a fine warrior after he completed his training, he could tell. At the very least, he respected his tools....

"Pressure points can do myriad things. You can kill someone, put them to sleep, slowly poison their body with their own blood or even heal them if done correctly and in the right time frame. Everything is about how you use it. So yes, I will teach you pressure points. My own sons, especially Salhii and Shobu, are very proficient in them." He took one of the tonfa and twirled it with the handle before suddenly sending it smashing into a marble statue, shattering it like it was so much glass. "I'll also teach you about how to find the weak or stress points to things, material or organic, everything has them."

Jiro smirked a little bit. If nothing else, he tried to keep as open a mind as humanly possible. And living in Homegrounds, one seriously needed to have one. "I use my chopsticks mainly as weapons. They make nice throwing weapons heh.." He took one out and spun it between his fingers tips as he listened intently to what he was telling him. All this was very interesting to him and important to know.

His eyes were focused just on his face and Dusk knew that he would listen to anything and everything he told him. Ah, Dusk's children. From what Shouhin told him, Dusk did not have a small family. Other than his two mates, he had a lot of children. Salhii, who was his eldest, Shobu, Hotsuma and his triplets; mathius, Amayoki and Lexus. He had another named Ryuki, but he was born between his two mates.. which confused the hell out of Jiro and Sah said he was too young for him to even try to explain that family. All he had to know was that they were all strong in what they did and was the strongest Family in all of Homegrounds at the moment. "Hai hai. So.. what's next?" His bounced on the balls of his feet, rather eager for more.

"The use of your chopsticks is very inventive. Have you tried using them as melee weapons as well, instead of just throw weapons?" He looked thoughtful, rubbing his chin slowly. "I might see if I can get Iruka to make you a pair, a special pair of course, one for combat usage mainly." Iruka was the Elder of the Zyukori, their metal-making breed and Iruka was infamous for the quality of his weapons. It would be an extremely high honor for Jiro to have them. But if anyone could talk him into making them it would be Dusk.

"Next is the whip dagger...." He uncoiled a length of what looked like barbed leather, but at the end was a precision-sharp dagger. He flicked it outward and wrapped it around a tree. Snapping his wrist, made it unleash and travel back towards them, but not before they noticed the deep gauges in the tree and how the dagger at the end had pierced and plucked a fruit from the tree at the same time. "For this, you'll need the whip and dagger skills. Combining them will be the hard part."

"As melee? No.. because these aren't craft for it, sadl.." He actually pouted before he heard him mention Iruka and his eyes shot back to him, hero worship very obvious there. "M-Master Iruka?! THE Master Iruka?! You could get him to actually do a weapon for me?!" His heart was hammering in his chest before he clung to Dusk's leg, looking up at him with hopeful eyes. "Please make me your disciple!!" Iruka was one of the weapons masters he constantly drooled over whenever he was in Zyukori marketplace but Akiya had told him it was impossible to get him to take requests, except for certain people. To have a weapon by such an amazing Elder.. would be such an honor!

Forcing himself to get ahold of himself and let go of his leg, he watched him take out the whip dagger and use it against the tree. This would most definitely be the hardest weapon for him to learn. But... it looked like fun! "So.. I'll get to try all of these weapons, Master Dusk?"

He snickered lightly, unable to help himself. Jiro was just so....enthusiastic when it came to weapons. But he flailed slightly at the sudden growth on his leg, looking askance at the usually somber and serious Jiro clinging to his leg like a koala. Fighting the instinctive reaction of trying to fling him off his leg, he tried to look calm. "Yes, Iruka is a good friend of mine and he makes all of my personal weapons, the ones I use the most. I don't think he'd mind making a pair of chopsticks for you once he hears how good you are with weapons and how you'll take care of him. He's a friend of your Shouhin as well so that's two good marks for you in his eyes. he's very busy but I think he could make some time for it.....As for making you my disciple, we shall see how you progress in your studies first."

He handed him the whip dagger after coiling the length back up, nodding. "Well, of course. You need to learn as many styles as possible. I'll start you on these first and when you have mastered them, I'll show you some more, those more suited for a stronger frame. Because mark my words, you will be stronger by the end of my training."

Coughing and looking rather ashamed about his rather... out of character outburst, he rubbed the back of his neck and hoped that Dusk would either a: forget it ever happened or b: not hold it against him. He couldn't help his like of weapons, though he wasn't entirely sure where this like stemmed from. All he knew was that he enjoyed reading about them and seeing pictures of them and when he had one in his hands.. he felt so much more.. secure. Somehow. "Wow... I remember Shouhin saying that they were friends, but he wouldn't ask him something like that for me. Because he is so busy as Elder and everything... but I would be honored just to see the man, let alone have one of his weapons."

The fact Dusk and Iruka were friends didn't seem to surprise Jiro. It made the most sense to him. When the whip dagger was handed to him, he carefully took it, a hint of doubt showing in his eyes. This was an entirely new weapon for him to use so he felt a bit awkward.. but he would learn this anyway! He wanted to know how. The knowledge that he would get stronger from this training pleased him immensely and he grinned up at him. "Please show me how to properly use this weapon. I've never handled a whip before..."

He took pity on the small Tale because he knew he wasn't normally so outspoken and bold, at least not like that anyway so he let it slide. He had been lucky that his enthusiasm over weapons as a child had been looked upon as a good thing by his stern Shouhin or he probably would have had the crap beat out of him. Coughing to get past that random memory, he took the whip back into his hand, showing him how to hold it just right. "Your Shouhin is very aware of all of our duties and responsibilities and while it's true that Iruka is very busy, having just come back after a long while, he forgets that Iruka finds it very relaxing to craft weapons. But come, we will train you int hese first before talking of new weapons for you. Prove to me how good you are with these and I'll see what I can do."

He then put the whip back into his hand, folding his fingers over it in a proper grip. "There, like that. Never hold on too firmly. The touch with a whip is light and agile, mere flicks that are built into slashes of pure pain when done right." He put his hand on Jiro's wrist and moved it quickly, the whip snapping.

Letting him take back the whip, he watched his hands and how his fingers held the grip carefully, his mind trying to work around it so it could be put to practical use. He had been told that Dusk had a very.. difficult childhood and it wasn't something to speak to the Pygin General about, so he wouldn't. Only admire that such a man came from such a harsh upbringing. "I suppose since he's the Watcher or.. whatever.. he thinks a lot about duty and what has to be done instead of other stuff. He keeps saying he has more to learn so maybe he hasn't been able to fully relax yet..." He had watched several Zyukori work on making their weapons and there was such a peace and calmness about them that he couldn't help feeling the same way when he was there. So he knew Dusk's words were right. Besides, they weren't the metal breed for no reason. "Hai hai!" This was it.. he would somehow, in some way, prove to Dusk that he was worthy of such an honor.. and to be his disciple.

Looking immensely pleased with how the whip looked in action, he worked on getting his hands in the grip once it was given to him, purposely trying it a few times just to get a good feel for it. "Never hold of too firmly... but what if someone took hold of the other end? It's best to let it go?" His brows drew downward in a bit of bafflement as he tried to figure it out.

"Your Shouhin has a lot on his plate since he has to learn everything from scratch. For the rest of us, we're only doing what we've been doing practically since birth, what we were trained to do. So yes, Iruka has a lot of duties, but time can always be made for other activities. That's another thing for you to remember. Never let one thing dominate you totally." His smile was full of approval as he watched him grip the whip carefully and try it out.

"Normally, I'd say let go of the whip if someone grabs hold if it, even if you're stronger. First, it gives you the advantage of surprise because your opponent won't expect it. Second, you can always get or use another weapon if you remember what I said about anything and everything being able to be used as a weapon. However, with this kind of whip, anyone grabbing the end gets the dagger, which is razor-sharp. Anyone grabbing the regular length of the whip gets the barbs. So if they grab hold, pull back as hard as possible and rip their hands up." His grin was slightly evil and feral. Many had tried to do that to him before and learned the mistake the hard way.

"Well that makes a lot of sense..." His nose wrinkled a bit because he did know that Akiya was 'new' when it came to this race and all that, so he did have a lot to learn. And if he wsa right about how old he was, Dusk was about forty thousand years old... almost at his limit at how long he could be alive... that was a bad thing! Bad bad! His mind whirled as he tried to figure out what he could do to make sure Dusk stayed around for a good long while. Didn't Shouhin say that growth stones were needed for such things? But.. then again, the Duskling family was blessed by the Goddess of Fire, Kree... Kree was a huge Dusk fangirl, from what Akiya muttered under his breath once.. so she wouldn't let her idol die, right? Right? "Never let one thing dominate you.. got it."

Seeing his smile at how he was working the grip made something flicker inside of him, something that he had felt before but not like this. Pride. After he explained what to do should someone take hold of his whip, another evil grin curled the corners or his mouth. "So wicked..." Feeling he had the grip down a least a little bit, he lifted his arm a bit and attempted a flick. It was awesome to watch how the whip unfurled and curled like that. So nifty.

He knew he was getting close to his end but he wasn't worried. He had lived a very full and productive life, surrounded by those he loved and he wouldn't regret a thing. His only worry was how his family would take it....Shaking his head, he focused on his student's progress, watching him flick the whip tentatively. "Good, now stronger, sharper. Flick it lightly, with your wrist, but keep your wrist flexible enough to control it. You want the whip to go where you want it to. You're doing very well...."

He still thought it was amazing how long these beings could live.. and be able to control how they grow as they can. But they still looked like they were still eighteen or so! Wondering why he was shaking his head but leaving it alone, he nodded a bit before he tried a bit harder. Working on flicking his wrist flexibly was rather difficult but the more he tried, the more he began to feel at ease with it all. His ears shifted at the sounds of the cracks of the whip and he nodded in understanding. "This is hard.. but it's rather fun!"

Halfway through the practice, he made Jiro switch hands, smiling softly. "You've done very well so far, but don't forget to not neglect your off hand. You need to be balanced and not have one hand you favor. If anything were to happen to injure your weapon hand, you'd be left defenseless and that would be a sorry situation." He admired Jiro's enthusiasm and eagerness, watching how his eyes gleamed with every accurate strike he made or how his forehead furrowed when he missed.

When Dusk paused him in order to have him switch hands, he did so without hesitation, but it didn't mean he was exactly sure of this. But he was rather happy that he wasn't failing his sensei, though he was sure he was making a lot of mistakes somewhere. But if he made very obvious onces, Dusk would point him in the right direction, which helped him. But his words made a lot of sense and with an "ossu!" he got to practicing with his left hand. These were less coordinated than before, but he knew he would have to work harder. Biting on his bottom lip in concentration, he made a faint hiss as his screw up caused the tip of the knife to cut into his other arm slightly. But instead of losing his concentration, he balled his right hand into a firm fist to slow down the flow of blood and kept going.

It wasn't like he hadn't injured himself enough with his sword practice to not know how to deal with something minor like this.

He made the occasional remark or comment when he saw Jiro make a mistake that could lead to him forming bad habits or hurting himself, but they were few for he preferred for the most to have his students learn from their own mistakes. All in all, he was rather satisfied with Jiro's progress for it was rare to have one as young as him be so proficient so early on. However, when he injured himself, he stopped him immediately. "That's enough for today." Before he could protest, he put up one hand to calm him. "First, it's been over an hour and you're getting tired. At this rate, only more mistakes will be made and you cutting yourself into ribbons will do nothing for you, nor teach you anything useful. Secondly, a good warrior knows to get any injuries taken care of as soon as possible. Being able to go beyond the pain and fight with injuries is necessary but not for practice at this stage. There is no need to damage the machine that is your body, as much a weapon or tool as what you have in your hand." He held his hand out for the whip, no look of censure or scorn in his eyes at all.

He was thankful for his advice. It was a lot better having a teacher than learning from books or on his own. Shouhin had been right. It wasn't that he had doubted his wisdom, he was just a really stubborn mutt and wanted to at least attempt it on his own. Dusk was smart to stop him from complaining when he had.. Jiro was known for being way too stubborn for his own good and he would have protested that he could continue for some time yet. But a sensei was a person to be respected and though he pouted, he handed over the weapon as he was told, nodding his head. "Hai, Dusk-sensei..."

Had it truly been over an hour since he had been given to him? It didn't feel like it and he wanted to do so much more! His whole body was filled with a new sense of excitement and eagerness. "Even though I hurt myself.. I still find this whip really fun to learn... and I'm sure that it has so many uses, like using the bladed tip in order to get the fruit down from the tree. It's such a beautiful weapon.. they all are..."

He reached out and carefully ruffled his hair, giving him a rare smile. Dusk wasn't known to give them out that often. "You've surprised me with your progress, Jiro, and that's with me already giving you some high expectations from what I'd already seen. But all things will come with time. You might think you can go for hours more but I promise you, when you get home and rest, you'll realize how sore you really are. Make sure to take a long hot bath and let your Yuhin rub some salve into your shoulders and wrist to let them heal so they won't get stiff and ache even more. You need to be in top shape for your next lesson with me." He quickly coiled the whip up and added it back to the bench, folding up the cloth to bundle the weapons securely.

"All weapons can be equally beautiful and grotesque at the same time. It just depends on what you do with them and how you do it. You will get a chance at all of them, I swear it. But I think it's time for some lunch, eh?"

It wasn't often that Jiro allowed people to do something like that with his hair. Normally it pissed him off like nothing else, but this time he beamed up at him, his eyes showing how incredibly happy he was. And he was happy. Damn happy. Dusk's words were very kind and he felt so much more.. sure about himself, though he knew better than to let it all go to his head. That would only cause him to get an ego and that was the last thing he needed, to be honest. Even he knew the dangers of such a thing. "Ossu!" He made a mental note to do everything Dusk had listed that he should to... his hand was already feeling a bit sore from holding the whip and he wiggled his fingers a bit before he applied some pressure to the cut on his arm to slow the blood flow even further.

His stomach grumbled rather loudly at the mention of food, but he didn't look rather embarrassed about it. He couldn't help loving food and he nodded. "Yushi... some food would be rather welcomed at this point, heh."

Seeing him wiggle his hand and press on his cut, he ushered him into the house, slinging the folded up cloth over his shoulder carefully. "Pearl should be home and he can heal your cut for you. I don't need Sah wigging on me." He grinned boyishly, remembering the last time Jiro's Yuhin had lit into him after taking Zy on a hike.....up a three-thousand mile high mountain with a completely sheer surface that Zy had slid down...face-first.

"And if we're lucky, we'll have some of his cake too. Do you like sweets at all?" He felt good about taking Jiro under his wing for he felt that Jiro would learn from him and take everything to heart. He really did need to speak to Iruka about making him something just for him.

For him to be ushered so quickly, his wings actually fluttered in surprise before he found himself back in the house and he looked around again. When he mentioned Sah wigging, he gave a pained grimace. "Yeah... Yuhin all bent out of shape is not a fun Yuhin to be around..." He had seen Sah really get angry only a few times and thankfully not at him but it was still enough for him to long to be very.. very careful about pissing off his Yuhin. Though he didn't know anything about Shouhin's rock climbing experience. If he had, he would have laughed his a** off.

"Mmmm, caku." A kittenish grin showed this time as he bounced about, hearing Elder Mahon's voice as he came in. "Seems at least one of your mates is home, Master Dusk..."

Entry Thirty-Two: More.. books?
Jiro never seems to have enough of them...

It had been awhile since Jiro had been in the library, probably because he was still floating on the happy high he had gotten from his first training session, but something made him go to one of the many libraries that were in the house this day. What the urge was, he couldn't say, but he was glad he did it. Just being around the tall towers of books and scrolls made him feel so much better. Like that odd tingling sensation had finally went away and he was more at peace with himself. After entering and pushing the huge double door shut behind him, he took a few moments, just breathing in all the familiar smells of the room before he went over to his usual chair. Since he knew his parents hadn't cleaned in there for awhile, the same stack of books he had placed who knew how long ago would still be there.

And it was.

So he hopped into a plush cushion and snuggled into its softness with a happy purr. Yay! Time to read! Shifting so that he was resting against the padded armrest, he looked down to grab the first book on top when he noticed a bulkily wrapped... package? He supposed it was a package, for what else could it possibly be? But it was addressed to him, which was what caught his interest in the first place. Tiny fingers wiggled and stretched a bit before finally grasping the package and a glee filled cry, he settled it into his lap. "Something else for me, huh? This Frenztaa thing is really cool!"

Though his fingers ached to rip it open, he wondered if he should. Would it really be okay to open this now, even if it was a season for tons of giftgiving? Would he get in trouble for it? That would really suck... he didn't want to know what movie they'd use for punishment this time. Actually, if he could avoid seeing any, that would be a dream come true!

To open....

Oooorrrrr....

Not to open...?

Gah! Choices! Gnawing on his bottom lip for a long while, he finally decided to hell with it and worked on taking off the wrapping paper.

Ooh more books! And just for him! It wasn't everyday that he was able to get books that were just his and didn't belong to his other brothers or his parents. At the bottom was a note, saying that the gift was from Uncle. Oho? Well then... he'd have to remember to grab something for him to thank him. For now, he had a bunch of new things to read.

Entry Thirty-Three: A midnight threat
One's past is always hard to run from...

Lately, he had become more and more tired. He was curious as to why. Sighing a bit, he allowed his thoughts to wander as he enjoyed his normal evening shower, the one where he doesn't bother with washing his hair, just soaking in the hot water and enjoying it for what its worth. Outside the shower, he could hear the little chirring sounds from the pet that Khia had given him*, something he hadn't expected. Made him feel horrid because he hadn't found the proper gift to give in return. It was something that bothered him a lot, though he tried not to be a spoiled little brat and didn't say anything about it. He would find Khia's perfect gift.. it was only fair.

However, the chirrs meant that it was time for him to get out. Though the Idle Thought was a strange being to Jiro, it had its uses, of yes indeed. Reaching out, his slim fingers grasped the dial and turned it, allowing the cold water to fade away first. The first blasts of pure heat didn't even make him wince, he was so used to it. Instead, he actually purred before he sighed and turned the hot water off as well, making sure that the showerhead wouldn't leak later. Yuhin was very firm on him not being wasteful of anything, even if they did have ample resources. It didn't excuse lazy behavior, as he always would say, and Jiro learned well under his gentle yet oftentimes firm hand. It wasn't to say that he didn't learn some ways from Akiya, but his ways were very different than his mate's. His hand left an imprint on the frosted surface of the sliding glass door as he shoved it open and carefully stepped out, taking care to make sure he got all of his hair out of the shower as well.

After he had buffed himself dry and used three fluffy towels to bind and work on blotting out the excess water from his hair, he shrugged into the robe he used when he went to sleep, picked up his pet and headed out. His eyes flicked towards either side of the long hallway a moment, his ears perked as he attempted to find out what the rest of his family was doing. Shouhin was having a meeting with the Gods tonight, he recalled, so he would be in his office on the seventh level of their home.. the one area no one was allowed into unless they were invited or Sah. Sah would probably be plotting more Frenztaa celebration goodness and was probably in the kitchen or in the study. Kali was most likely in the library, reading more books and still avoiding people, despite the parents' best efforts to get him more social. Mouu was, shockingly, at home with Kyoi, also another who was rarely at the main house, gushing over Kyoi's second pregnancy.

Jiro was glad he would get to see Kyoi around the house more. It meant that he could get the chance to talk to him and get to know him better. And the more he learned, the more he grew to adore the eldest of the family, for different reasons than why he worshipped Kali. A faint smirk crossed his lips as he turned right, which would take him to his room... only to stop short when he almost slammed into Luc. A scowl developed on both boys' faces as they realized how close they had come to actually having skin contact. "What?" It was strange how these two were, almost like Jiro's interaction with Angelus was rather strange. Despite what it appeared on the outside, they got along rather well.

"I want to use your shower." The Star of Destiny lifted up the wicker basket he held in his arms up so the Tale could see the bath items he had stored there. As usual, his voice was calm and almost quiet. Sometimes, Jiro felt his voice was way too calm. "Was wondering when you were coming out, actually. Actually thought you had done the impossible and drowned."

"Har har.. don't you wish it was that easy to get rid of me?"

"I don't think you truly want me to answer that." The two looked each other down a bit before, they hmphed and went their separate ways; Jiro sweeping past his brother to continue to his room and Luc taking over the bathroom, watching Jiro leave with an amused smirk before he closed and locked the door.

Normally, if someone whom he found annoying spoke to him, he would be grumbling down the hallway, but this was not the case. Which only sought to prove Akiya's guess right. The two got along fine but playacted too much. The door to his room was slightly open, which had meant that Sah had wandered in at one point or another and dropped something off or snagged his laundry. Normally, his door was closed at all times because he was picky like that. The idle thought hopped out of his arms with another chirring sound and dashed into the room ahead of him. Probably to go hiding in his sock drawer again. Event hough Khia had told him that these creatures found socks favorable, he wasn't exactly keen on it claiming his sock drawer... With a mute little shake of his head and a sigh, he pushed the door closed after he had entered and spied the big plate of cookies and the huge mug of hot chocolate. His midnight snack. Setting down his own bath items, he hurried over and took down the plate, enjoying a cookie and finishing off the hot chocolate before he yanked out the towels from his hair, not caring where they landed on his floor, and crawled into bed. Griffith, the name Khia had given his idle thought, had crawled into his sock drawer and was fast asleep with a little chirr.

And the two slept easily, though as always, Jiro was plauged with nightmares. It was always hard for the Tale to find a peaceful rest nowadays, which was irritating. It was only if he had passed out from complete exhaustion did he not have any dreams or nightmares, just this black void that always threatened to consume him. But that wasn't healthy and it made his parents worry. But there was really nothing that they could do right then.. not that they knew of yet. Grumbling, he tossed under his thick comforter, his thick braids of hair twining around him a few times before pooling onto the floor uncaringly. But something... something was nagging his subconsious, trying to urge him to awaken. A sudden sharp pain caused his eyes to fly open, meeting a bright, glowing blue's before they seemed to get closer and the pain increased. Gasping for air, his hands scrabbled to find what was causing the intense pain, heat flaring from the region of his heart. A blade... one that burned like hellas... was being shoved into his chest. BUt this.. wasn't an ordinary blade. That he could tell just from the feel, as twisted as that was. No.. this blade didn't jurt hurt him. The screams he could hear were not just his own.

"Forgive us...." The voice was soft and filled with remorse as the weapon was retracted for a moment only to be slammed back into his chest again, causing the boy to gag and hack up his own blood. "You're getting too close... to him getting older...."

"He cannot awaken, child... he cannot be set free!" A female voice spoke this time, causing Jiro to attempt to see where she was, even though he was also trying to get the first attacker off of him, as well as trying to focus past the additional screaming inside his head. But this male was heavier than him and it was proving impossible. "So you must die... before he gets any stronger... may the heavens forgive us for this horrific act...." A strangled cry erupted from Jiro's lips before the man used his free hand to cut off the flow of his air, his calloused fingers ones that were used to working in the fields and hills, not killing anyone.. they even shook a little.. something that Jiro's keen senses could pick up. He was afraid.... but though he was afraid, he still had no issue with twisting the blade even more firmly into his body.

He couldn't breathe... dots were appearing before Jiro's eyes as he wheezed, trying to get him off but it was getting harder. How.. how did they get in? And why didn't he sense them coming?! But it was hard for him to focus, the dots were getting bigger and soon, his body was just feeling incredibly tired. He knew the other half of himself was dangerous, but this dangerous? So much that he was tracked down and slaughtered in his sleep? What exactly had he done? But he was too tired to care and his eyes drifted closed, his heart beating slowly. Was this the sensation of death? This.. endless sleep? It was almost like a freedom, as twisted a thought that was to him. But there were no nightmares... no horridly empty void... just this peace that seemed to continue on forever. Was he.. even deserving of such a wonderful place?

Jiro.... Jiro!

Mmmn.. shut up... want to rest... But that annoying voice would not go away, would not give him peace.

Wake up, you useless piece of flesh! This is not the end of us! The rage in this voice he knew so well. Since he was always trying to keep it at bay. The loud voice that was always filled with such hatred and rage... at certain people, the world in general. He had been stopped in his prime... before he could finish what he had started. But what was it that he was trying to do? Why did he try to mold him into his old self? No one could tell him... only attack him or just give him blank looks.

JIRO!!

His eyes slowly opened, the most unexpected face coming into view. Luc was pressing one of the discarded towels Jiro had been using for his hair against the huge hole in his chest. A look of relief appeared when he saw his brother looking at him. "Jiro.... hang on..."

"Wh..."

"I heard a noise as I was heading to my room... thought it was weird that you were gagging so I entered and saw them... good thing I know magic, neh?" Smirking, he nodded towards the couple, who were bound and gagged in a corner. "They're not going anywhere... I gotta get Shouhin! But... if I leave.. you'll bleed out. Why aren't you wearing your locket!?" Jiro was never allowed to take it off, yet he always did when he went to bed. Mainly because it would wrap too tightly around his neck and cut off his breathing. So it had to go. Least at night. Ignoring the gagging noise that Jiro gave as a responce, he pressed even more firmly, cursing himself for refusing Akiya's offer for healing lessons. He would definately take him up on it now. A soft murmur caused him to look up in time to see that Jiro was trying to say something, but he was blacking out again. "What? Jiro!" Moving closer, he pressed his ear just above the boy's ear as he whispered something, a word that Luc was very used to hearing. He only had time to nod curtly before Jiro was out again.

But thankfully, the blood was slowing down.. maybe he would be okay f he left him for a moment to get the parents. Bandaging his chest tightly to try to stop the blood flow, he hurried out of the room. First get the parents and then to get who Jiro needed to see.

Khia.

Entry Thirty-Four: Another one?
Transfusions seem popular with Jiro...

This was going to be rather awkward.. but it was something that needed to be done and as quickly as possible. Luc had never met Khia face to face and tell him something that he was positive he was not going to like. Though his thoughts were rampant, his face was entirely too calm as he used the protal made for him and stepped into Sanctuary, his green eyes looking around carefully. Now, from what Jiro always told him, Khia was impossible to miss... so he had to find him now. Before Jiro's condition got any worse

Khiarhu happened to be in the middle of roughhousing in the clearing to the side of the Manor; Heka, his father's lupix was snarling and growling and bashing him this way and that - a terrifying scene, certainly! Except that Khia was doing the same - and both seemed...happy, rather than angry. After all, they were playing.

The shapeshifter's head lifted and he shoved the beast's purple and black muzzle away from him for a minute - someone had arrived, someone's who's faint scent he didn't know. Heka caught it too and stilled, her fur bristling a little, though the scent was not dangerous at all...rather, it seemed this person was worried....frightened too. The dark pair picked themselves off the grass and started towards Luc; wanting to know what business brought him to the Sanctuary...

With how he was trained, he knew that his presence had been noticed and that caused him to slightly relax. Hopefully, the two beings that were coming towards him would be the one he sought. A faint sigh escaped him as he hurried this meeting along by hurrying to meet them about halfway, pausing when he saw the two in a more clear light. One was like Jiro's Hirome, so he knew that wasn't Khia. The one next to her however....

His voice was, as always, too calm for its own good as he spoke, looking the very tall Tale in the eye, though he was rather straining his neck to see all of him. "You are Khia, correct?"

The closer the boy came towards them, the better he could see and smell him - and...Jiro? Jiro's blood? He could smell it,sickly sweet... coppery.... mingling with this person's scent, as well as others. Some say that violence doesn't have a scent, but Khia would disagree; what he scented was violence, and it made his fur ripple in a most unpleasant manner. "Heka, stay."

Crimson eyes glittered brightly as the shapeshifter came the rest of the way without his huge companion. "...Yes." His tail flicked behind his thick legs, and he tilted his head to better size up this diminutive person that carried the red head's too familiar scent. "What business have you here?"

A sad type of smirk appeared on Luc's face. "You can smell it, can't you? Jiro's blood is on me... you need to come with me to our home. I'm Jiro's brother, Luc.... he needs you. I could go into details, but I don't think that it'd be best, so I'll get straight to the point. Jiro was attacked not too long ago, but a couple who seem to want him to be destroyed. Thankfully, I managed to be in the area and stopped them before they succeeded in their wish..."

He had to stop because his fingers were twitching and he curled them tightly into a fist as he pushed down the rage that was still inside of him. "I stopped as much blood flow as I could, but there's still too much that he lost. He requested I bring you before he passed out..."

Those bright, jewel-like eyes narrowed, and an involuntary growl rose in the beasts throat, but he reined in his temper, his demons, and nodded tersely to Luc. "Take me to him."

The shapeshifter said nothing more than that; there was no need. Luc knew he could scent the boy's blood on him, just as surely as Luc knew the bond between the pair that had prompted Jiro to ask for him. If Luc couldn't help Jiro, maybe Khia could...Syrie couldn't be asked - the shapeshifter dismissed that thought quickly, his parent would die if he tried, and it wasn't a case of him being willing to swap lives - he would have them both by his side, one way or another.

Nodding curtly, he took his own locket and spun the spell that would take them directly to Jiro's room without another word. He knew that would be Khia's responce. The way his entire aura changed proved what Jiro had always told him. They were close.. their bond was a very powerful thing. He waited for Khia to step through before he followed, closing the time rip behind him before it sent them both into the overly large room.

Right then, Sah was the one by Jiro's side, mopping up the sweat that had appeared on the boy's forehead as he slept. He looked relieved as he saw the two of them appear but he didn't get up. "I'm glad you found him quickly, Luc."

"Least I could do." He tried not to look at his brother, seeing him so still, so pale.. it bothered him more than he wished to admit at the moment. "I'll go get some more herbs..." He then headed out to do so. He would try to help in his own way. Sah stood finally and went to Khia's side.

"He'll know you're here now... maybe he'll wake up for you..."

Khia didn't hesitate at all, but plunged through the portal and into the room that smelled of fever, blood, and Jiro. His lips skinned back in a snarl, but he shook his head and forced the anger down - it didn't do Jiro any good if he was raging like an animal!

"Has a healer been called?" The question fell from the shapeshifter's malformed muzzle with a throaty sort of rumble behind it, even as he moved past Sah to sit at Jiro's side; long, furry black fingers reached out to gently touch the boy's cheek, brushing back a few firey strands of hair. "Jiro...I'm here..." It wasn't really a question, so much as the teen verifying that fact - he knew Jiro's family would never just let him die.

As always, the under tone of the beasts's coat reflected his inner emotions, and right then the colors were chaotic, angry...scared and worried...everything all at once - Jiro looked so pale, so fragile laying there!

"Yes, we summoned Akiya from work.. but he's far away at the moment and to use portals is forbidden so he has to come home the old way. But he's on his way now.." Whenever Akiya had to meet with the Gate Keepers of their kind, he wasn't allowed to use portals in such a chaotic area. "We think he's stable. I used some of my own magic.. but whatever that blade was made of.. it did a lot more damage that a typical blade. I fear it might be poisoned.. but it's not like we're getting answers from his attackers." Sah was trying his best not to cry at the sight of his little boy looking so pale and sickly. It frightened him, that something worse could happen to him.

Jiro's head slowly shifted as he felt Khia's familiar touch and he tried to open his eyes to see him, but could only manage to crack them open into slits. "K... Kh...ia..." It hurt for him to speak and the shapeshifter could hear gargling as he tried to take in a breath. "Knew... you'd... come..." He tried to smile but it hurt to move so he didn't bother.

"Of course I came....now lay still, you need to save your strength..." Painful as it might have been for Jiro's Sah, it was doubly so for the black beast that was gingerly settling next to the small boy - the pair had a bond that bound them together very strongly. Khia fought hard internally to keep his temper in check, to keep himself in check until Jiro was out of danger - he could do this for the red head, until Akiya reached Jiro, Khia would wait and comfort him.

"Akiya will be here soon, Imp....and you will be well. We'll go swimming again...and lay in the hammock together, alright?" A long pink tongue flicked out against the firey haired boy's cheek once, twice.

Nodding slightly, Jiro did manage a smile this time around. He knew that seeing him like this was truly upsetting to Khia and he wanted to do something; hold him, comfort him, anything, but he couldn't make his body respond. "So.. loud... h-his.. screams..." They were still echoing inside his head, the Other's pain filled cries and need for the pain to stop. It had affected both of them..

Sah then stepped closer and watched the two of them together, feeling their bond as clearly as he felt his bond with Akiya. "From what Luc told me when I got here, there were only two... the blade they used is one I've never seen before... we want to move him off the bed to another one.. a cleaner one... but I'm not strong enough to lift him like that. And Jiro wanted to see you as soon as possible..."

Sah wasn't strong enough to lift him without jarring the injuries, making them worse - but Khia was, and while he didn't glance at the small worried man, his ears flicked a little - he was listening. "I know...it'll be alright...I promise...." So he didn't jar the small boy, Khia shifted just a little - changing his arms enough that he could slide them under Jiro without jostling him too much - before he lifted that slight body. The scent of blood was tugging at his senses sharply, calling to his wilder side, but he continued to squash it down for the boy's sake.

"Where do you want him?" Despite the teen's size and appearance, he could be amazingly gentle, and he was proving it with how he was holding the red head; unfortunately, it was getting harder on him to control himself, and little tiny hairline cracks were appearing in the gems embedded into his bracers...

"In the room next door. It's the other room he has... there's a large futon in there that we can set him upon." Sah mainly just wanted to get him out of this room that was filled with blood and evil intent. It was making his stomach twist in knots and he had no idea how it affected Jiro or Khia. Leading the way, he pushed the door open and let them in. This room was much smaller than his normal bedroom, more a typical size for a bedroom for once. The futon was easy to spot. "Place him there..."

Jiro was watching Khia carefully, noticing that the thick blood scent was making him edgy and his brows shifted in worry. "K-Khia... I'll.. be... okay..."

Khia carried the robe-clad child over to the futon and set him down gently - likely the blood would ruin not only the bed in the other room, but also this futon; but he didn't care. It was worrying that Jiro was so pale looking, but there wasn't anything he could do about it - Khia had no magical skills beyond his shapeshifting, and he'd never felt more useless.

"I know..I know you will..." He skinned his lips back in a frightening grin before licking the boy's cheek again. "You can't get rid of me that easy, Jiro."

"Don't... want.. to be.. rid of you..." Though it hurt him, he reached up and touched Khia's cheek gently, his eyes only focused on him and him alone. He knew that Sah was int he room and soon Luc would be as well, but he was worried about Khia. Given how his temper could be, he was afraid he would do something that would cause him to hurt himself. And that was something he wanted to avoid. "S-Stay..?" His eyes were getting heavy again. Just doing this much was so incredibly taxing on him.

Long black fingers curled around Jiro's hand, holding it tightly. "I'm not going anywhere, Chibi. You just rest right now, okay? Lay still and rest for me..." He didn't want the boy straining himself too much more, it would harm the chances of him recovering - where the hell was Akiya!? The lashing of the black beast's tail spoke volumes on how agitated and tensed he actaully was.

He tried to hold Khia's hand back, he truly did, but all the shapeshifter felt was a faint pressure before he was out like a light again, just as Akiya slammed into the room, looking rumpled, out of breath and worried.

Listening as his mate explained everything to him as quickly as he could, he went next to Jiro, not about to tell Khia to move and looked him over. His eyes narrowed as he felt how much blood he had truly lost and how it was still not stopping. It should have stopped ages ago. Brushing some hair off Jiro's sweaty forehead, he pressed a soft kiss onto it before he sighed. "He's lost too much... we'll need to do a transfusion..."

"But... he's already done one with Angelus... what'll happen if he does another one with someone else?"

"I don't know... but it needs to be done and now... or else my healing him will do nothing... I don't think if he does a transfusion with another, it'll affect Angelus..." He then looked at Khia, the question easy to read and he was positive he knew his answer. But it was always wise to ask. It would make their bond stronger than ever... but they didn't know if there would be any after effects.

Khia understood Akiya's unspoken question almost before the man looked at him - mix his tainted blood with Jiro's? He had no choice! The great beast dipped his head and whuffed - at least he was big, there was a lot of blood that they could take...and he'd give it all if that's what was needed. "Take all of it, if you need it...just do it."

His tail swished and he thought about it a moment, would his fur inhibit the process? It was thick, silky along his body, though some places it was cropped closely...he supposed Akiya would say something about it if it would pose a problem.

"I won't need all..." Nodding to Sah, who looked more than worried before he ran off to get his supplies, akiya shrugged out of the huge longcoat he had been wearing, setting it aside. "I can heal Jiro while your blood is going into his body. It'll help me be able to reconstruct the parts of his body that was heavily damaged by that blade." Drawing ina deep breath, he calmed himself down before he began to draw the needed symbols intot he air to begin the spell. Dark blue flared into being with each completed symbol and they spun around both Khia and Jiro a moment before settling onto JIro's forehead, still glowing garishly bright.

Sah nudged his mate lightly in the back and extended the small machine that he would need to do the transfer. Taking it, he looked over at Khia before he grew thoughtful. "Is there a way you can make your arm less furred? It'll be hard to find veins any other way..."

Another shake of that great horned head, and Khia flexed the arm closest to Akiya, narrowing his eyes as the flesh reshaped itself to something very similiar to human, only with a dark hue to it. "Whatever it takes, I want him whole again."

There was a dangerous sort of fire glowing in the shapeshifter's eyes; eyes much the color of the blood staining the small boy beside him. It was so hard, so very hard to hold himself in check when all he wanted to was to destroy whomever had harmed Jiro like this - he'd rip them apart with his claws and slash them open with his fangs, oh yes...indeed.

Thanking him with a faint smile, he took one needled end and carefully inserted it into one of the thicker veins he could readily see, watching Khia's blood flow to a small container in the center before he covered the needle with a bandage and worked on Jiro's arm, holding it like he would a fragile glass doll. Only a flicker of pain showed in Jiro's face as he large needle was inserted, but then it quickly passed again. "I will make him whole again, don't you worry..." Akiya refused to let any of his children die. Not under his watch.

Motioning to Sah, who took his position by a small pump, they both got to work, watching the blood shift into Jiro's small body. But while the thick liquid was entering, Akiya was casting his healing spell on him, placing a hand over his chest and focusing all of his energy there. That was where the most damage had been inflicted. Strange thing though was that Khia could feel where the damage was the second his blood entered the red head's. He could feel the pain coursing through him and he knew that his heart had been badly slashed up in this attack.

But if Khia had tried to do anything against their attacked, Akiya would have to stop him, even though he would have allowed it. But these two had to hae a reason for doing something this dangerous. Maybe they could answer some of the questions that surrounded the tiny Tale. "It's working..."

Khia hissed in a sharp breath the moment he felt the boy's pain, and the cracks in the gems grew deeper, more defined; he was under control then only because he was more worried for the small boy beside him than he was on taking revenge. "Jiro...it'll be okay..." He licked at the boy's face again, tail twitching just a little; the sensation of blood being drawn from his veins didn't bother him so much as the other's pain made him see red.

"Good." It was good Jiro was healing...but the black beast did wonder at how wise it was to merge his blood with Jiro's.... Still, so long as it worked - that was all that mattered.

It took about a half hour before Akiya stopped the transfusion and then just focused on healing Jiro completely. He was more relieved to see color returning to his pale face and seeing him react to Khia's lick with a tiny nose wrinkle. The boy would need a lot of rest before he would be able to do much of anything, but he was out of danger.. finally. Feeling almost completely wasted emotionally, Akiya rubbed at his temples, not noticing Sah cleaning up behind him, bandaging both Khia and Jiro's arms before he headed out to make them all something to drink. "He'll need a lot of rest.. and so will you. No matter how much or how little is given, it is tiring to take away one's blood. If you'd like you can rest with Jiro. The futon is big enough. Hopefully.. if his own healing kicks up again, he'll wake up sometime tomorrow..."

The shapeshifter growled a response - he didn't want to lay down, he wanted to hunt the bastards that had hurt Jiro! However, he knew Akiya was right, his body was fatigued - after all, he felt the boy's pain too! "Nnnn thank you. I will lay with him, guard him until he wakes." The shifter returned his arm to it's usual silky state, the small puncture wound from the needle having already healed - he healed rapidly on his own, be it Tome magic, or his own.

"Jiro....rest easy, I won't let anyone touch you...." The big teen did one more shift, going to his fully beast form and curling around the child, his great shaggy head resting beside Jiro's head as he slept; eyes glittering brightly as he lay there.

Knowing that his son was in good hands with Khia, actually there was no one safer than the shifter, he left them alone, closing and locking the door just in case. He took a few minutes to get himself back to rights and try not to get ill because he did get sick if he used too much of his magic (something of his own doing), his eyes glowed with unholy murder as he left to go speak to the ones who did this. He didn't tell Khia where they were being held because he had the feeling he knew exactly what he would have done. And he didn't blame him... not in the least.

Feeling ever so much better, Jiro only made a faint sound in his sleep before he slowly shifted to lean against Khia as best he could, one arm wrapping about his head. He felt.. rather different... the heartbeat was louder now... his scent was stronger. By the time the next morning rolled around, he had opened his eyes and was focused only on Khia, his fingers gently caressing his furry head.

Sleeping wasn't an option for Khiarhu, but he did cat nap and doze fitfully during the night - Akiya was wise in not telling Khia they had captured the ones responsible...it likely would have caused the beast to go berserk and destroy them. For anyone messing with Jiro, there was indeed a fate worse than death, and it's messinger was Khia.

Morning found him catnapping, his ears flicking at the soft touches on his head. "...Auuu..." The shapeshifter lifted his great shaggy head with a chuff and licked at Jiro's cheek; he was sleepy, but as long as the red head was well nothing else mattered.

A little smile showed on the red head's usually stoic face at the lick and he continued to caress him like that. His body was still being sluggishly slow to respond to his mental commands, but he did manage to nuzzle against him all the more. He knew Khia as well as Khia knew him. Khia wanted to get revenge for this attack.. and he wouldn't stop him. He knew this was because of the deep amounts of caring the two shared for each other.

"Khia..." He pressed a small kiss to his muzzle, his eyes closing for a moment in order to breathe in his wonderful scent all over again. "So glad you came for me..."

Entry Thirty-Five: A pain of a different kind
Jiro's Growth

He had been sleeping for a long while lately. But, given with what had happened to him, it wasn't overly surprising. Sah was a constant visitor to his room, flitting back and forth, making sure both he and Khia were all right. Khia, naturally, recovered faster than he did... but he still didn't understand why he would do that. Wait.. rewind.. let's try that again. He knew exactly why Khia had done such a dangerous thing. In order to save him and protect him... but transfusions were so dangerous! What would happen between them now? How exactly would it change the Bond that already existed between the two? These thoughts plauged him, even if in his sleep, something that was just annoying. But something else was making him long to wake up. A strange sort of pain that was being caused by something else entirely.

Whimpering faintly, his eyes shot open and he struggled to turn onto his side but being careful to not awaken Khia, who was still resting at his bedside. It hurt. It was like his body was on fire and he couldn't breathe. The difference was that he wasn't fearing this pain, like he had the one before. This was something else. Something... better. It took a few tries before he was able to roll himself out of bed and then weakly push himself to his feet. His arms then flailed as he felt about to hall over. Strange. His center of balance was completely thrown off. That couldn't be right... His hair hadn't suddenly grown again, had it? The thought caused him to mutter and grumble to himself as he made his way to the full length mirror that he knew was in the room.

It was a moonlit night, thankfully, so he didn't have to find a lamp or something in order to see. He just didn't want to wake up Khia for any reason. But the sight that greeted his eyes caused him to always fall over again, this time in shock. What....?! He knew it was himself. None of the other tales dressed as he did or have that kind of hair. But.. was that was the pain was about? His body was changing and adjusting to his form? Lifting an ungloved hand, he carefully touched his face. Weird... just very weird. But the good news was that he was no longer such a chibi! The moonlight also hit the black and red ring that he always wore, a pleased smile showing on his face. So it did grow as he got older. His eyes flicked over to the sleeping shifter and then down to his hand, where the matching one laid.

He would be happy about this too, he was sure! So many worries were now gone, right? But his happiness didn't last long. There was someone else who had felt the change and wanted to use it to his advantage. A searing pain raced up his legs, the symbols carved there starting to glow brightly even through his robe he wore for resting in. The child was older now.. the perfect age to attempt to take him over completely. Jiro, however, didn't wish to become the one begging for release on the inside. It was hard to focus on pushing the pain away from him and then find a calm place so he could chant the incantation he used to send the Other away for a bit of time. This time was different as well. Instead of his own voice, he felt Khia's presence , helping him to push back to other loud, angry voice that was pissed off at being denied again.

It seemed to last forever, this odd contest of wills when it truth, it hadn't lasted that long at all. The Tale was obviously drained by the time the Other was subdued and he went back to being quiet. Sulking, but quiet. That was something Jiro could handle. But now, he wanted to seriously just go back to bed and so he did slink back, feeling rather weird and ungraceful in this new form. He hoped that wouldn't last long because it would definitely affect his training at this rate. And since training was the foundation of Jiro's existance, he would be pissed if he couldn't do it. For any reason. Curling carefully inside the protective barrier created by Khia's body, he yawned sleepily before he returned to sleep. He wondered what Khia would do when he saw him like this...

Entry Seventeen: Current events

A lot of things have changed, it seems, since the last time I've written in here. So I suppose I should get off my butt, now that I actually... somewhat... can and do so. So I'll try to keep it simple.

Not that long ago, two people broke into the house and tried to kill me. Odd to just say it so calmly after the fact. Especially since that damn thing hurt like nothing else! The male was a coward, I can tell you this much right now. His hand shook so badly it wasn't even amusing. But the look in his eyes spoke rather loud and clear to me. It was important that I die...

Of course i know why this happened to me. I wish I didn't though. It's all because of him. The Other me. The one whose crise for freedom are a constant noise inside of my head. I wish I had a switch that would shut him up because he's truly annoying. But I can also kind of understand his need to be out. I would hate to be trapped inside a body of someone who shared your name but unable to do a damn thing. Not be able to finish what I started or get revenge. I know I explained all about that weird dream I had months ago, right? Hmm... it's odd but it seems like there are pages missing in you. I wonder why that is... maybe I'll look around my room. Maybe I wrote them on something else but didn't think to put it in here.

.............. wonderful, if so. Now my book is completely thrown off! How stupid and annoying! Oh well...... I'm off topic again.

Shouhin said that the only way for him to be able to heal me was to have a transfusion. The only person who could help me at that point was Khia... And I know Khia had agreed instantly, with no thought to his own welfare. I'm honored that he did it.. I don't wish to leave his side yet... but now... we're tied together more strongly now. We don't even know what's going to happen to the both of us at this point. But I suppose the only thing we can really do is wait and see, right? I'm sure it'll work out as it should. Least that's my hope. I'd feel bad if anything horrible happened to Khia. I doubt I could handle it if anything happened to him...

I'm not allowed to know where they are. The assassins, I mean. Luc subdued them and Shouhin and Yuhin moved them. I know they're in the house... I can feel them... but I don't know where they are. Shouhin says that he's going to be speaking to them himself to try to get some answers from them. And if he does, he'll share them with me. Maybe these people can shed some light on why they had to do something like that... though I can feel the rage radiating from Shouhin and I know he wishes to harm them as they harmed me...

These thoughts of guilt and self hatred are unlike me... I don't like them.. but I can't make them go away either... and that pisses me off. I need more tea...

Oh. On a side note, I've grown it seems. I'm no longer a chibi.
