Fujistu Seeing as you necro'd my tread: I see that you have 99 fletching. Was that the first skill you went 99 for to get some pathetic excuse to command respect from people with the same and/or lower IQ levels? You have 99 wc, awesome. cut some wood faster, make money. I'm not expecting you to understand my point of view. Observing you I'd say your mind is insufficient, you can't understand. In your post, everything from "are" on to "game" belongs in here:  love the pic Fuji way to put the new-er members of the guild in there place. Now Poeple this is forum about dabating over "if it is worth it to get a 99" now lets respect each others opinion about the forums main idea and less on insulting each other.

Im going to say this as simple as I can, so maybe you can understand it.
Fuji's thoughts is that it is not worth it to get a skill to 99, if it doesn't do anything but give you a cape. Like Fleching for example, you can't make anything after level 95. The only real reason to get it to 99 is for the cape.
As for a skill such as smithing or woodcutting, there is something for you at level 99. For smithing, you can make full rune. For woodcutting, you can cut logs faster. Therefore, theres a reason to get the skill to 99 besides just the cape.
These are Fuji's thoughts, not my own. I just summarized it to the best of my ability so people may understand clearer.

wanting to get the cape. Obviously. neutral Thats a good thing, using the skill for an actual purpose. Then keep using the skill even after the 99. Like pimp man up stairs in the tread. 99 woodcutting, someone had that but still needed more wood to get to fletch them into bows and s**t. The 99 wc would make it a hell of a lot easier since you can just cut them yourself.

Anyway, there are no "useful" skills. They're all useless. Those that get 99 just for a skill cape, let them. Have you ever thought that they might just be for the fact that they can walk around and say "Look at me! I am better than you because I have a skill cape and you don't! HAHA! I laugh at your low levelness!" It's another way for people to feel better than other people. Just be glad you can't hear their just hitting puberty voices. It's quite horrible. If you ever play Halo, I suggest muting them immediently but back on topic! So, basically. It's another way to feel better than everyone else. Why don't you find someone that has ALL the skill capes and ask why he got them, find out his opinion instead of saying all of this. WOO! Skill capes! Phear mah immense sarcasm of d00m!
