Nate waited for everyone to leave so his shift would finally end. He sighed and looked at the card Mel gave him. Memories ran through his mind of their time together and he kicked himself for what he had done to her. "I don't even deserve to know the girl...but I'll go there anyway to make her happy...god, why am I so stupid.." He sighed as he looked around the club, there were a few people left there bt he waited for them to leave. He hoped Mel could have stayed longer. He had to hold himself back. "I hope it's not that hard all the time..." He said to himself as he remembered what had almost happened not just a few minutes ago.

Melissa got in her apartment and sighed. Her head ached from all the mingled thoughts and Laura's insistent questions all the way. Dropping her coat and purse on the entrance, she headed for the kitchen where she filled a small pan with water and placed it on the stove.
Going to her bedroom, the girl changed into her pajamas and took off her makeup. Berrie walked around her, bumping into her legs, looking for some love. He could sense something was wrong with his owner.
Back in the kitchen, Mel poured the water on a cup, with a chamomile tea bag and some sugar, and sipping the infusion slowly, walked to her bed, hoping the migraine would subside. The thoughts and feelings swirled around her mind. Memories, good and bad alike, flooded through her heart. She still wasn't sure of what to think or feel. Nate's words echoed in her ears, and she struggled to make sense of them. Soon, she dozed off to sleep.

Sam grew up in a small town just outside of Germany with his younger sister and older brother. He had a very content childhood, playing soccer for his school's team and hanging out with friends after classes. Sam's mother chose to move him and her family away when he was 15. She bought a small, cozy home in town and started work shortly. Unfortunately, Sam's mother was killed in a hit-and-run accident, leaving his older brother, James in charge of Sam and their little sister, Ariana. When Sam grew older, age 22, he moved to his own apartment and allowed his brother and sister to live next door.

Namine apologized to Star Ferns while handing her a business card. "Im sorry my dear I must go but please look me up I would love to talk to you." NAmine headed to her table to inform the photographer and the crew that she was heading out. They asked her to stay longer but she wanted to go home. Demeter, her cocker spaniel, was waiting for her. As she left some people stopped her for an autograph or to take pictures. The life of a model was pretty complex. Once outside she asked the valet for her car. As soon as her mustang pulled up she got in and headed home. All she wanted to do was cuddle up to Demeter.

((I'm sorry, I know I'm not the GM or anything, but we now have 3 girls who own their own Cafes...a bit too much for such a small RP, don't you think? Maybe you could join someone Mel's Cafe, seeing as that one was 'founded' by the GM...lol
Anyways, it's good to see more people!! I'll post tomorrow morning, and that's a promise, but right now I need some sleep.**))

It was 8am when Mel was woken by the alarm clock on her bed stand. Slowly, she opened her eyes, sat up and stretched, yawning. The light filtered through the blue curtains over her window, hitting her face.
Berrie, who was curled up on her feet, grumbled in response to the movement, causing her to smile. "Yes, I wish I could sleep a little more, too..."
Grudgingly slipping out of her cozy bed, the raven-haired girl headed for the shower. The memories of the previous night still crowded her mind, and the migraine hadn't totally subsided, making the idea of facing a new day unpleasant to say the least. Thankfully, it wasn't her day to open up the coffee shop, or she wouldn't have been able to sleep at all.
After her morning preparations, she left the apartment, wearing an airy turquoise-blue spring dress with comfortable yet pretty blue sandals to match. Even though she wasn't an adept of make-up, she had had to commit into putting some concealer and blush to brighten up her tired face. She was, after all, the image of the Cafe.
The trip through the subway was uneventful, and she arrived at the shop right on time. Entering, she quickly headed for the counter, where Leo, he tall green-eyed brunette she worked with, was already busy.

((Yeah well lots of people joined but not many post >< and I must say interacting with yourself alone gets boring))
Namine smiled as Demeter snuggled against her leg. "Oh my are you trying to bribe me by rubbing my leg." She bent down and picked up her cocker spaniel. "Oh darling what would I do without you. You are a dear friend and companion." As if to answer her statement Demeter licked his masters face and wagged his tail excitedly. "How about me and you take it easy and head out to the park? Maybe we can stop by the bookstore and then we can have us some more fun." Demeter wriggled excitedly and yipped at her. He was still a pup, thereby, still small in size.
Namine had the day off. No photoshoots, no posing, no glaming up, no signings. She looked forward to this day for a long time. Namine fed Demeter his breakfast after which she headed to the shower. Once done she dressed herself. Namine put on some black jeans, an off the shoulder blouse, ballet flats on her feet, bangles on her wrist, a triple strand silver necklace, and wore her hair down. She got Demeter ready tying a leash to his collar. After grabbing her light trench coat the same color as her jeans, Namine headed out. She just knew it would be fun with Demeter taggin along.

Leonardo was born in a small Italian town, the third of five brothers. His father was the owner of a small bakery, and he spent his childhood running around the kitchen and delighting himself with the cakes. Fascinated, he decided to become a cook himself. He learnt from his father and took a Cooking and Baking major in Rome, and then made his internship in Paris.
When his father died, the bakery was left to Leo's oldest brother, and the enterprising young man decided to go in search of adventure...and no place is more adventurous than New York? After despairing over the awful eating habits of Americans, he found a small haven in Sweet Heaven, Mel dad's Cafe.

Even though he seems a air-headed flirt at first sight, he is actually a gentleman, and very sensible. The tough spots and hardships he's been through give him a deeper way of looking at things, making him a good friend and adviser.
