"Yes it is..." He looked up as well. Night was his favorite time as well. The sahdows, the darkness, the celestial symbols. It was truly the perfect time for shadows to play, but it also made him remember his life before a Pae'il. He sighed deeply and looked back down, feeling that time was over, he never had to be a shadow ever again.

The female quickly looked down again, not about to repeat a tree-slamming act. Her pale eyes instantly picked out the outline of HQ ahead, just outside the treeline. She glanced over at the male beside her once, a curious glance all in all. When she went in...what then?...What would become of her life?

'We're almost there, I bet you're happy" He looked at her. She didnn't seem to look happy, wondering what she was thinking about. He thought she'd at least be happy to have a home, afterall he never did. He knew this was probably the last time they met. After apologizing to her parents and making their judgement fullfiled he'd leave and return to the shadows. Not telling her this, he moved on and stayed silent behind her.

She jumped as he spoke, the silence shattered like fine glass. The female lightly blushed. What was his question? She nodded. "Y-yes..." A deep breath in and out, her heart beating harshly. She'd go out and faced an evil shadow no problem, but be freaked out when her thoughts were disturbed. Perfect sense. A hand reached up to rub her arm, shivering with the cold a light breeze carried. Zana glanced behind her at Shadow moon, wanting to ask something...anything really...but repressing the urge as her gaze fell forwards once more. Gaurdians, what a night.

"That's good" He looked around again. The light from HQ was starting to make their shadows appear, well her shadow. He looked down at his feet, no shadow, nothing was on the ground.

Her foot touched upon a puddle of light, her shadow stretching long behind her in the cast of HQ's. She walked across the grassy feild, out of the woods and towards the building. At the massive doors, she stopped, and looked at shadow. Just...regarded him silently before slowly extending her hand towards him, eyes dropping again. "...It was...nice...meeting you."

"Yes, it was...I just wish it didn't happen that way" He took her hand slowly and looked at her "Um, could I see your parents, I think it's only right they knew about this, afterall if anything did happen I owe them an apology" He knew she'd might just say it was okay, but he felt it was wrong to let them not know about his mistakes that almost endangered their daughter
((I'm not sure if you want to bring her parents in or not, but it is a ORP smile ))

"Its alright..." She then stiffened. Parents. She opened her mouth to say to just forget about it, she'd tell her...But... "Parent...I don't have a dad." Zana spoke softly, her hand slipping away. She walked up the stairs, and pushed inside the HQ, holding the door open for Shadow. "And mom might be a tree now..."

"Oh, I see..." He didn't know all this time. I guess he was happy she atleast had one. He wondered what it felt liketo have a family. The moon was like his parent, atleast when he was a shadow "It's the least I can do, I have to take responsibility for my actions" He walked inside and looked around, still no shadow following behind him even in the light filled room. It made him almost feel like half of him was gone. He waited for her to lead the way "I'm sorry to hear about your mother, I had no idea..."

She had long since taken care not to look down at where his shadow should be, thoroughly uneasy as it already was. She hardly looked at Shadow as much as it was. The female stepped away from the door as he entered, letting the door close before bowing her head and moving towards a hallway. "its alright...she likes being a tree." Perhaps thats why she hadn't lost it. With such a big family...and mom...she was used to the abnormal. Raken creating living animals from shadows...Malloren and Yuki for simply existed...her mothers eyes and morphing ways. She stopped suddenly by a door, gently reaching up to softly tap upon it. "Mother..." "Zana?!" The door immediatly opened, revealing the red haired woman. "Where have you been? After you said you were just picking flowers..." Her aqua eyes shifted to the male behind her, a faint blush appearing as those eyes suddenly shifted to a light green. "a-ah...didn't see...you there. Hello....I'm Tartara...Zana's adopted mom." She seemed more stunned then anything, even after the initial shock of not noticing him. Her eyes shifted to zana. "...First friend you bring home and its male when your a teen. At dead of night no less." Her eyes steadily got wider and wider as her mom rambled on and on...expecially...when she turned to her. "I-I'm sorry...its...a...long story..."

"Allow me to explain Ms. Tartara" He bowed before her "I am Shadow Moon or Shadow" He stood up and looked at the strange female Zana called her mother "It is mainly my fault, I could not handle my own powers, I am ashamed to allow it to put your daughter in danger" His eyes looked at the floor, truly dissappointed in himself for letting all this happen "I accept any punishment you place on me...my powers are my responsiblity" He looked back up and back at the female "As you can see my shadow is not under me even in light, it's split from me and become a seperate enitity called Moon Shadow" "It became a completely different person, almost completely opposite of me in everyway, even gender" "When I met your daughter in the woods and tried to help her home we were attacked" He looked over to Zana and pulled out her flashlight "I owe your daughter my life, she could have ran away, but came back and helped me, she is very brave when she wants to" "The problem was her act caused Moon to loathe us both, so I believe she might go after Zana too, I'm deeply sorry..."

"Please, just call me tartara. Its very nice to meet you Shadow." She spoke earnestly. Zana didn't have any friends. She typically ran from social situations like they were poison. But as he went on...maybe...not so much a friend. Her eyes steadily got darker and darker, soon becoming a deep emerald. "Goddess..." She whispered at last, eyes never leaving the male. "I had thought I left all this behind..." Tartara didn't continue though. She never told anyone, even her oldest pae, about her old life. "Oh Zana..." A hand moved to her forehead, gently rubbing it. "Brave and shy, not your typical combination...Alright, one...how can we deflect the attacks? Do physical methods work?" She leaned against the doorframe, closing those weird eyes as she deeply thought. "And what precisely are your powers? All things depending, your punishment might be training with me and now Zana, so I need your limitations and strengths. Also, do you know how to fight hand to hand? Physical attacks might not work, but it would help immensly at dodging attacks." If her daughter was in danger...it was her duty to protect her. As Shadow explained, she looked down at her feet, feeling especially embarrassed as he mentioned the whole...her helping him thing. And immediatly lifted her eyes again as her mother went on, at first looking apologetic before a shocked appearance took it away. Wha...wha...Whoa. WHAT had she done before coming to the island?
OOC: XD Tartara actually is a real rp character in an old guild, my first gaian guild and first gaian chara. FA is my third ever pet shop, so I was sorta still adjusting to everything when I was told that I needed a caretaker for my red SS package because when it came out, it would be a child which you couldn't just leave alone. And Ru from this rp guild turned out to be here, so I had Tartara come and Ru helped the shock of finding this strange species and well...modern technology. Lol, just a quick explaination as to why she knows combat and her eyes are all weird. She was a wanderer and got involved in the nymphs Goddess of love (she's half forest nymph) Long, LONG story behind both, but thats the bare bones

((Cool, I actually had Lloyd take care of Shadow's egg and toddler form at first, but Shadow doesn't remember. Porblem is I've amde so many versions of Lloyd I don't know what his powers and abilities are anymore sweatdrop ))
"Yes Tartara" He held out his hand and made a shadow form of a sword appear in it "I can control all shadows and create my own" He closed his eyes and slowly morphed the shadow into a real sword "I can also manipulate shadows into extra extentions for my use like weaspons" He grasped the sword until it shattered into shadows and disappeared in his hand "All that I mentioned Moon can do as well, only she uses the shadows as her sevants, doing her bidding for her, I loathe her methods..." He looked at Zana and back at Tartara "I understand, I will accept anything you are willing to give to me in help" It was alittle odd for a punishment, but he was sort of happy, he didn't know why though. "As for the first question, I do not know how to stop her completely, but it seemed Zana's help weakened for the time being"

She watched carefully as he worked with the shadows, her sharp mind filing the information away. "My eldest would both Idolize and hate you." She spoke at the end as the sword shattered. She hated doing this. She didn't want to teach any of her pae how to fight, it was a vile skill in this peaceful island. But...desperate times called for desperate measures. "Can you make it here approximately three hours after daybreak? I don't know how far away you live." She looked back and forth now, distressed. She was actually going to fight? Against something with that strength? Powerless? She was brave sure, but she wasn't stupid. The thought of seeing Moon alone sent shivers up her spine
OOC: XD thats how come there's only one version of tartara with powers. Poor Shadow

((Lol, I know, just some RPs don't allow this and that, been creating new characters now though xd ))
"Well, I don't live..." He lowered his head slowly, not wanting to fisinish that sentence even when it was the trith. He fodled his wigns around him and tried to keep a straight face, but it seemed everyone belonged somewhere. Afterall this time he never still foind his place, was the shadows his only home.
