"But the pups..." he protested but stopped himself. They'd have to go to the southern lands to wait, two days in the environment back in the woods was not safe at all. With all the other wolfs lurking about and the weather as cold as it was- not to mention the adult and pale two-legs. He sighed, dreading the long run back to them, "Very well... it's not war by the way either. We just seek protection.... at least until I can form a pack of my own." He sighed, slowly getting to his feet and leaping from the rock. His muscles ached and begged bitterly through aches and cramps that he take a rest, but he was never one to listen to his body's complaints, "Two suns then. Tell Selia I will want to speak with her as well."

Isaac shifted slightly and came to rest his head on Soul's neck, looking out towards the snow as he spoke.
"Honestly, Soul? I.. don't know what got into her.. You know what a short temper she has, and.. when she realised i was a Seer, she snapped.. Somehow she got it into her head that i.. killed some other Seer, that one they went to talk to that time. Lera, she's not all there.. She may seem fine most of the time, but.. she just went crazy. You saw what she did.. I.. I was sure she was going to kill me.. I was so scared, Soul.."
Well, it wasn't a complete lie.. But he knew no one would understand why he had done it, he would just be cast out, no questions asked. And that wouldn't do at all..

Isaac nuzzled into the female's thick fur, whining softly.
"You know.. I'd never do anything like she accused me of, right Soul?" he asked, eyes on hers now.

Soul listened. Her tail curling about her body slightly. She paid close attention to every word he said. She then picked up on the last few sentences.

The hairs on her neck rose as she realised that Lera had attacked him because she thought he killed another wolf. Her stomache began to churn. SHE knew he didn't kill another....right? she knew...in her mind...but...she....

She nodded, comforting him. 'Of coarse Isaac. I know you didn't kill anyone.' She moved so she could lick his cheek.

She then decided it was right to change topic's. 'Hehe, Selia and some others are pregnant and will soon have pups. I for one can't wait to see how they turn out. New members to the pack are always welcomed.' her golden eyes peered towards Isaac with a sharp, cheeky grin.

She'd be laying on her back in the den, staring at the soil ceiling in an eerie silence...before a loud sneeze came from her quite randomly, even startling herself after it. "This is insane," she grumbled and wrinkled her nose, rolling onto her side now with a thud.

Selia had been hoarding random soft objects into the den, trying to make it comfeh-er than it had been before, the whole floor covered in soft dried fern branches and such that wasn't soiled by the snow.

xD She'd probably freak out if he wasn't there when that happened. Looking up to Devvyl, she moved to make room for him so he could come in and lay beside her...She wanted him near her right now, but yeah, she was pregnant and bigger...therefore she really didn't feel like getting up and out of the den right now. xD;; She just...laid around, and waited...glad that her mate brought her food and such during the day.

She got a whiff of Feanaro's scent, and her hackles rose.."Why is his scent here?" She knew he knew what she was talking about..

She flinched inwardly...humans? Why humans? And why was her son and packmate with Feanaro? "No, I dont want humans here...Not right now, not ever. I need to talk to Hige and Balan.." She trailed off, and rested against him, her head resting down against his back lazily..."I really hope this doesn't turn into a huge deal, again. Last time Feanaro came around, he wanted to kill you."

This was all whispered, and to her dismay, she felt her stomach churn in slight disgust...why save human pups...? Why have them here? It was dangerous.
