Zero shook her head softly. She loved him so much. It was both heart-warming and heart-wrenching to listen to her talk about the one she loved, yet was unable to remain with. This was one of the advantages of being alone, yet did the advantages of having one to hold on to while you where crying make up for all of it ?
There where longing in those blue eyes, and Zero didn't catch it quickly enough to hide it. It was silly - who would love her ?
"It is quite alright." She said with a smile. "I am willing to listen..."

The angel doesn't need to see Zero's longing to feel it, turning slowly, but not before turning the stove off. It's as if she's just taken herself off of autopilot and is back on manual control.
"I miss him. To be without him is suffocating. It's as if the air itself doesn't wish to enter my lungs, and once there, doesn't want to leave." She hasn't told Eirnae this, not yet. This is a weight on her soul, something she's been holding in for a long time.
"I wish to show Sei the wonder of his father's stars at night. Though he keeps them no longer, they remember him fondly. They love him nearly as much as I."
Extending her arms out to Zero, gentle hands attempt to settle on the other woman's shoulders. "Did I ever tell you how we met, in the beginning?"

"I see..." The concept of stars being sentient are not new to her. After all, she had once taken care of a fallen star, given human form.
But now Nebula was gone, having her one life, and they only saw each other too little.
"I do not think you have." She answered, softly.

"Perhaps a tale for another time, as the hour grows late." A light laugh, the sort that holds at least a dash of merriment. "If I may intrude, Zero, could I ... stay here tonight? I will sleep wherever you wish. I will leave for the Haven in the morning, but I don't wish to leave Sei. Not today."
Her request is said with sincerity, her hands going to be in front of her, cupped to hide the faint tremble. The angel really doesn't wish to go, but will if there is no room for her and her tae to remain. "We need not, if such will cause any sort of bother. I wish to visit often, and can be satisfied with the idea of coming over sooner than later."

"Of course." She says with a smile, finally getting up to lead Shina around the house. "You can stay in my room if you wish - it is in the basement, but it is still quite comfortable. But if you wish to be closer to your son, I do not think Uno will mind lending you her own." She'lld send Uno to her own, and then she could sleep on a couch, if she slept at all tonight. "It is no bother at all, trust me."
Perhaps transforming one of the empty rooms into one for the angel and her tae would not be a bad idea.

"I'd be lying if I didn't say I wish to be as close to Sei as possible, but I also don't want to evict your friend from her bedroom." She follows after Zero, her footsteps very quiet, especially for one wearing boots.
"Yet Ruathal may have something to add. Allow me to ask him what he thinks on the subject." She goes silent as she shares a mental conversation with her tae, finally chuckling. It seems her furry friend has managed to revive her silvery laugh. "He wants to remain with Sei and the baby. Something about them needing him more than anyone else in the residence. He's a little protective, but I promise he has good intentions."

"I doubt she will mind, really - she can go in mine." The cyborg shrugs, leading her friend up the stairs. Next to the angel, she seems to make so much noise - the click-clack of metal boots on a wooden floor unable to truly be controlled. "As long as Ruathal doesn't try to eat her in her sleep that is. I wonder, what did she do to upset him ? He doesn't seem to like her much, I've noticed."
Uno peeked out of her own bedroom door as the sight of the two made their way to the upper floor. "Maybe he just thinks that I am tasty. Or maybe it's because I don't have a scent." She shrugged, side stepping to let the angel inside the small, yet cozzy room.

"You think her edible?" is Shina's initial, amused response to Zero, Uno then earning a chuckle from the half fa'e. "I strongly doubt the first. Ruathal doesn't eat meat often. Something he gained from Ruathae, I imagine."
"It would be the lack of scent. He's guided by it, more than his other senses, and so someone that has no scent throws him off. Do not worry, I'm sure if he gets to know you, he'll understand that his first impression was incorrect." Walking into the room with a grateful nod to Uno, she turns when she reaches the bed, looking to the 'twins' by the doorway. "I cannot thank you enough for this. It means much to me."
"But one question, if I may? Where is the bathroom? I wouldn't want to stumble off down the halls and wake anyone."

"Oh, about as edible as I must be." Zero mused as Uno went off, visibly to resume her sleep somewhere else.
"The bathroom is the second door on the right. It's the only one on the right that stays open during the night so you can't really miss it. Ill be right downstairs if you need me." Zero says with a smile. "Well... good night, then, Shina."

"Good night to you, mellonamin." The elven word for 'my friend' come easily once more, the angel swiftly going back to the doorway to hug Sei's guardian. "Thank you again."
The two separate to share their smiles, then go their own ways. Zero heads downstairs, for the couch she will make her place of rest after this eventful evening, if she can sleep at all. Shina studies the bedroom some, getting a feel for its owner, before getting ready for bed.
These two woman are both warriors in spirit, determined to protect the same fa'e child from anything the outside world can try to toss his way, and just happen to be under the same roof. Even if only for one night, this small corner of Gaia realigns itself for the better as an aura of slumber settles over the property.
