((Sounds like a good plan. The map doesn't need to be very detailed, but a general overveiw would help a lot.))

Cirdan pauses, and looks up from the trail, " I noticed that after I examined the trail. The best course of action then, would be to return to the castle for no. Don't fret Renee, I will vouch that you did your best, and get rewarded for your efforts, however, I will ask you to finish your task."
Cirdan sighed, for he didn't want to go through with dealing with the stuck up nobles at the castle, but he knew the trouble any servant would be in, if the return when a task is unfinished. A scoial loophole, is if another noble simply, intercedes a servant. His real distaste, is treating anyone to be beneath him. But such is the way of his people." If my bearings are correct, the way to the castle is... East from here correct?"

"I don't know. I'll go check," Renee flew up over the trees and looked around until she saw the tallest building in the forest. The royal palace, of course.
"I think that way's east," she said, flying back down, and pointing in the castle's direction. She then turned to Luna and Megumi, "Now I can show you the castle!! And you can see the room I stay in, and the castle gardens, and the big hallways, and...and...and maybe even that poor girl with sunshine hair," she chimed with delight as she thought about all the things she could do with her friends when they got there.

Cirdan smiled at Renee's jubilence, and began to gather up the remaining items he had set out. After carefully repacking his bag, he looked about the area and sighed. He wondered if his self induced sword traiing will bear fruit, and sadly he could see no answer.
"Thank you Renee, then let us four be off to the castle. We should be back before long. I dare say, in time for a mid-day meal. If you would like Renee, you can stow your letter in my bag, and you can sit on my shoulder to make sure it isn't tampered with. I'm sure you will be scampering about once you reach the castle, and will need all the rest you can get before hand."

Renee pouted and glared at him like a child would as she delicatly placed the letter in the bag, "I'm a pixie. I'm full of energy. I don't need to sit on your shoulder," she huffed.
She then pointed in the direction of the castle and yelled, "Charge!!!" for no reason other than it was fun to say. And then she flew full speed into a tree. The hit the ground with a groan.
"Then agian..." she murmered, trying to fly again, "Maybe I will. You were so kind as to offer, after all. It's only rude to refuse."
So she perched herself on his shoulder, willing the stars before her eyes to go away.

Cirdan did his best not to laugh, be he could not hid his grin, "That can be included in my reasoning,to give you a ride."
Pixes, true enough where energetic, can also... Well be a bit over jubilent at times. It can be rather confusing, even make a person dizzy, to watch a pixie at work. It can be even worse when they play.
"Do be careful, that tree was rather soft, some around here bear thorns... Or worse."
Cirdan shivered at some of the examples, like the goblin eating trees... Sure, its was a poisonous nut that gets them, but its eerie how fast, the trees root claims a victim.

Megumi was also very excited. "Alright! We're goin to the castle!" He jumped up and raised his arms in the air. "Come on Lulu! Let's go!" He grabbed her arm and began following Cirden and Renee.
Luna laughed, "Alright, alright, I'm comming!" Luna was ready for an adventure. She was also very glad that she did not have to traverse through the forest by herself. She was glad to have met Renee, and the presence of Cirden made her feel safe. She almost couldn't wait to return home to tell her parents all about it.

"Da da da da lat da da!!!!" Renee sang as the castle gates came into view, "I give you...(pause for dramatic effect)...the castle of the Underground Forest!!!!"
She threw her arms into the air, and grined happily.

"Wow! It's...It's beautiful!" Luna said with her eyes full of excitement. "I have never seen it this close up before!"
"Let's go inside! Let's go inside! Can we? Can we?" Megumi jumped up and down excitedly, pulling on Luna's arm.
Luna looked at Renee, "Well, are we going to go inside?"

"Why of course we are, silly! Castles aren't just for looking at after all!" she giggled. She flitted over to the doors, and the guards opened them for her. They didn't question her about the guests, as they didn't look too suspicious.
"Come on!" she called back to them, waving her hand.

"Miss, don't forgot I hold your letter, I wouldn't dare fall behind." Cirdan smiled, as he felt the usual pressure of entering a place of nobility. It probably won't be long, before someone notices, that Cirdan is the firstborn son of Duke von Saralonde. And that he hasn't been home since a fight some twenty years ago. Only rumors about this event go about, and most surround the mysterious assing of Cirdan's mother.
"Perhaps we should inqure if your charge has returned from his outting. It could simplify the letters transaction. And remember, I will vouch for your early return, if anyone finds it distasteful."

Luna held Megumi's hand as they walked through the huge castle doors. Both of them looked around with amazement at the beautiful walls lined with magnificent paintings and portraits. It looked even bigger from the inside than it had from the outside. There were staircases and hallways, rooms and dining halls. Luna and Megumi had never seen anything like it before. They were both speechless. They followed Renee, wondering where she would lead them.

"Oh fine!" Renee sighed, exasperated, "We take care of the letter first."
She flew to a bookish looking man just entering the room, and asked, "I have a message for Lord Gethin. But he wasn't home yesterday, and I got lost. Do you know where I could find him?"
The scholar eyed her for a moment, not very concerned, "Lord Gethin hasn't been seen much around the castle grounds recently. And I doubt today will be much differant."
"Alright. Thank you sir..." she muttered dejectedly, and then stuck her tounge out at him when his back was turned. She turned back to her friends, "He's probably back at his manor by now. I know a short-cut through the castle gardens! Then you can see that, too!"
Of course, going through the castle gardens, would mean going to the other side of the castle. So the shortcut wouldn't do them much good. But then otherwise she might not have a chance to show her new friends around.

"The gardens? That isn't..." Cirdan got a half smile about his face, "Fair enough, perhaps we can stop by the kitchens, and have a fresh meal to eat in the gardens, there is several spots of which it is enjoyable to eat a meal."
Cirdan started to move in the direction of the kitchens, but then decided to allow Renee to give her tour, she seemed to really want to give it, and spoiling her fun would go against Cirdan's morals.
