kleines_llewellyn ...The time difference was disarming and so was the distance... ((keeping this up just to say that time differences should exist in this world and that they should be carefully managed. If we can agree that right now, as it stands, Duat is ahead of Olympia, then we have a solid basis. Valhalla can be decided later as we play, but I think to keep the realism this RP has, we should be careful of time))

Before long, Zarina found herself starting to drift off to sleep. It had been quite a while since Rosalie had scolded her about using her powers. Since she hadn't talked since then, her throat was very dry. she held her hand and placed it through the open window of her house. A small stream of water came rushing at her hand, but slowed to a trickle as it reached it. She then brought her hand back outside and gently made the water flow into her mouth. She yawned and got out of her leaning position.

Not for a moment did Rannek believe the youth claiming to be a man named Rhin. The man didn't dress like a teacher in training and his magik was to advanced for the claim as well. He'd also been far more confident when stating that he was a Vizier then when he had stated the 'truth'. Tenkyuu didn't worry about pushing him though, not really caring what business brought the mage to Olympus. He moved back to the doorway and through the threshold into the hall, heading for the steps leading up to the top of the airship.
"For the sake of the floral-mage I suggest we head to the viewing-deck." Rannek mentioned a second time, "The hangers cramped as is with the bike, and I know you planters don't like metal so the top deck should be nicer with it's more wood oriented design."
He didn't check if the other two were following, he was already growing impatient with the half-truths swirling around in his head, let alone the uncertainty of his visitors. Everyone was hiding something from everyone else on his ship and it left him feeling very uncomfortable. Then again he didn't trust these two and he had a feeling that things would turn bad if they pried about what his ship was delievering.
On that quick thought Rannek stopped before he went up the steps to the top-deck and tapped at a small keypad to a sealed door. The light turned from a dull green to crimson red, and the door itself set off a very slight thumming noise as the extra secutrity measures kicked in. If either of the men touched that door while Rannek wasn't around he'd know when he found them unconscious some time later.

Karawan turned to Arilam, who mentioned he was going to Valhalla on a royal task, and thought before he spoke. He wanted to ask him about the Star, the machine he saw while looking into the Green Word. Instead of saying something, he walked over to where he put the plant in the window, taking a vew bits of soil, for good measure. He turned around, and talked to the Arilam.
"You know, that is Nihopalaoa, the twin fruit." Thinking him to be ignorant, he continued speaking while walking toward the door. "It blooms only twice a year, hasn't been seen in the wild for nearly a century, and takes a great deal of magik that can nearly drain a woodcrafter on a good day." He reached the door and turned around. "It's the twin fruit because it represents our humanity, the evil and the good. The stamens from the mature flower are used to make the most powerful poison we know of, and the root after the flower dies, the most powerful antidote. I would keep it, but I have three."
He turned around and walked out, shouting after the man, saying "What do you mean Planter!"

Thorik viewed the battle all around him in the enclosed cockpit of the Michael. The great battleship had arrived to the dogfight a little later than the rest of the fleet, its own mass slowing it down. The Nidhogg was stuck in port, something about troubles in connecting the Epiphany Charger to it. The Michael was sent to stall the Olympian fleet while they fixed the problem and made their way here.
"Lieutenant, report."
"All systems...check. The demolitionist was killed in the premature explosion of his own bomb. Someone must have stopped him before he reached the Zeus. The battle ensued shortly after. Orders, Sir Thorik?"
If Thorik had been paying attention, he would have probably sworn, and madly started yelling orders. Instead he had his eyes focused on the horizon. 'A trader's ship? ...And that other one....How'd they get out there? ...And with armament like that, why would they?'
"Lieutenant, you're in command."
"Sir?"
"I'm going for a ride."
He left the bridge, and headed for the belly docking ports. Once there, he looked down off the edge of the scaffolding. He grinned. It was time to hunt again. He nodded at the door guard who unlocked the panel to his left. Thorik entered his passcode into the keypad, and a large panel on the wall slid in and up. The Hammer slid out on a mechanical rack, sticking halfway over the edge of the scaffolding. He took one last look at the belly turrets shooting down various Olympian ships, and the streams of troops taking off from Michael in their thousands of tiny fighters, then got on and started the ignition process. He used a little magik to manipulate some of the metal from his horns to cover his eyes, ears, nose and mouth. He could still see and breath through the metal magikly, but it would protect him from the high speed of the bike. The clamps disengaged, and he started to freefall. The engine sounded nearly silent at first, then exploded like a shotgun plugged into a guitar amp as it righted itself, and took off at just under 200 miles per hour. He set his sights on the trade ship wondering what kind of cargo might be precious enough to try and escape the fire fight.

((Simply out of curiosity (take no offense) is it really possible that nobody would notice Robert and the Vulture just off the right side of the Hawk? Just... curious.))
